hai friends, any one know details about the mjpeg file type. i found that some lg mob uses video in mjpeg format. when iam searched in the net i got only the video encoder. any one know about this video format? is this can used for sending video to mob thru mms.

Thanks for ur response Mr. I have the info. about the mjpeg file format. Can u tell me how to create a mjpeg video file. Is any s/w available for that? Can it send to our mob?

I was thinking if ringtones,images could be transferred to our handsets via mss or data cables then why not videos.I tried in lg rd6000 but failed.It was in 3gp format.What is format of videos and trailers in Rworld?

Yes 3GP2 vids(recoreded or saved from another source) can be transferred b/w 6255.

The maximumhowever is 300kb.

I also think it was possible in 7230 the format was MJPEG, I have absolutely no idea what that means.

There should be some way in LG6000 as well

LG handsets do not support 3GP (not sure if 6000 does) it uses EVRC..

I have capture 1 small movie from 6230. It is saving in MJPEG format. I want to know whether mpeg & mjpeg both formats are same or different? Can we run some other type of format also on 6230?

If not then any software which we can get freely that can convert video files in mjpeg format?

I don't know if any other type of audio format apart from MP3 we can run on this handset. Anyone has idea for the same?

I tried to download some ringtones from computer to phone through SD card but its not installed. I want to know what kind of formats will run on this handset?

hmm... dunno about 6230... but the 2030 one supports wml only and wbmp... some specialised applications also use PNG format.

yeah LG walon ne bhi kya format nikala hai , jo koi bhi nahin chala sakta ,

bhaiya yeah ghatiya phone hai , jisme memory card to diya hai par video chalti nahin aur songs kabhi kabhi chalte hai..

try the CD that came with 7230. I had that one will have to look for it if I can find out. It played MJP should work with 6230 as well
