@sunny No, u cant; these r meid based handsets @ankit sms tones does not support mp3 by default; only wav files are suitable; if u need mp3 as sms tone, u will have to covert mp3 to wav file and put it in \windows folder; then it will be visible as sms tone also; but that will be too resource hungry and hence not recommended...

let me give u a real picture on gsm bbs u can use data on bb without BIS thru putting in ur gprs settings in tcp in cdma bbs u can use data without bis people in usa ( tonycortes) have found a way to make customised service books with ur wtcp gateway settings and other proxy port settings they are using data on sprint bbs on metropcs and cricket but none of these solutions are free , u have to pay for it i prefer bis on bbs thats y i have given up my efforts to get data on cdma bbs

^ better not get into that.... as its difficult on solved BB phones.... these will remain primarily for voice and sms only on reliance...

I have seen some people having problems running hardspl on their touch pros ( greens , dkalie and counting ) now hardspl is an imp step for running custom roms and for superciding ( u know what that is used for ) when running hardspl.exe it fails to update , it can be due to variuos reasons like 1) microsoft net framework not updated to version 3.5 on ur pc 2)if u running vista 3) or for any xyz reason first try to put ur phone manually in bootloader mode , by pressing power , volume down and soft reset button , then connect to ur desktop and run hardspl.exe if still probelm persists then follow this trick Manually update ur SPL using ur sd card 1) First format card in FAT32 2) if u wanna supercid , then u will need hardspl0.25mfg 3) copy the hardspl 0.25 mfg file ( it will be RAPHIMG.nbh) to root of ur sd card 4) download the sspl manual package and unzip sspl.exe to ur phone memory on ur device 5) now using file explorer go to sspl.exe on ur touch pro and run it 6) it will pick up ur RAPHIMG.nbh from sd card and flash a new hard spl on ur phone 7) to check ur hardspl go to bootloader screen , on top it will show CMONEX 0.25spl 8) DONE now just take off ur battery and reboot note : if for some reason u r stuck at bootloader screen and cant get out of it , simply flash any rom on ur touch pro thru RUU now once 0.25spl is loaded u can supercid after supercid u need to load 0.37 hardspl to do so just load the "RAPHIMG.nbh" from hardspl0.37 folder to root of ur sd card and put ur phone in bootloader done HARDSPL 0.25.rar HARDSPL 0.37.rar SSPLManual_Raphael.zip

UPDATE I have repackaged three cab files -MKhtc guardian fix -HPrelmobileworld -HPrelnetconnect into one single installer package all u have to do is copy paste the installer file in the archive to ur device then click on it , it will do a step wise installation of 3 cab files , just follow onscreen instructions once finished just reboot ur device and delete sprint settings so now its just one file to do it all !!! OK, so Here's a Step by Step Guide for GENERAL SETTINGS by EPST- First copy the reliance.prl directly to your memory card Then Press Green (Dial) button to enter dialler Press ##778# - you will be able to see EPST Screen now... Press Edit... Enter Unlock code as the 6 digit code you got from BAFMSL... You will enter Main Display Screen and all info will be displayed. Now on this Display Screen edit only 2 fields - Nam Name to Reliance and MSID to your 10 digit MIN number by first selecting then clicking Menu-Edit; Then, Click View Info and then go to NAM Settings. Here you have to edit NAM Name to Reliance, Mobile Directory Number to your 10 digit Reliance Number, Check and confirm that in MSID your 10 digit MIN number is displayed (if not, edit to MIN); MCC to 404, MNC to 00 Then Click View Info again and select CDMA Settings - These should be like as below, otherwise edit them to these figures - A-Sys Primary 283; B-Sys Primary 384; A-Sys Secondary 691; B-Sys Secondary 777; MOB_TERM_FOR_HOM /SID/NID - All should be Enable; Home Page/Home Orig, Roam Orig - all should be EVRC Then Click View Info again and select Home SID/Home NID - Edit the first field i.e. Home SID/NID #1 to 14655 / 65535 Then Click View Info again and select Modem Settings - Slot Cycle Index is 2 (but you can edit it to 1 for faster tower catching, your choice); Preferred Serving Syste / Preferred Mode- both should be Automatic; dont touch anything else... Then Click View Info again and select PRL - Click Update PRL File - Menu - Edit - Browse - It will be able to see and search the reliance.prl on your memory card - select it - Press OK; so your prl is now updated Then Click View Info again and select M.IP Settings - edit MIP_MODE and change iit to Simple IP Only Finally click Menu - OK and then update your settings and phone will reboot... Now say CHEERS... AND START CALLING...
