    it seem effective December 1st 2009, mobile internet charges on Reliance CDMA/GSM has changed. Details on website, RWorld link on handset says default plan at 50p/1MB and surprisingly quota has been upgraded BIGGGG time , existing plan of Rs99/300MB from earlier 20MB, Rs199/750MB from earlier 100MB, Day Pass gives 25MB from earlier 10MB......also there is an Unlimited Plan at Rs.299??? Anybody please confirm this.......Any prepaid users????

    Hi, I recently purchased an unlocked verizon bb 9630 runnining os v.4.7.1.61. And I want to use it on Reliance GSM service. I checked the unlock status by going to Options>Advanced Options>SIM Card> M E P D. It showed the following: SIM Card: Security Disabled ID: <19 digit number> Personalisation: SIM Disabled Network Inactive Network Subset Disabled Service Provider Disabled Corpoate Disabled I got the bb plan activated. My voice and sms service is working fine. However the edge is coming as "edge" and not "EDGE". The Host Routing Table is all empty and "Register Now" does no good. The double arrowed symbol near network bars is coming now and then. The technical team has taken my BB Pin, IMEI#, IMSI_S#, and made me hard boot like 3875 times. They are still not able to get the bloody edge capitalized. My phone shows "Activation Required". And dialing *228, comes with a reply asking me to add area code before the number. Please help me because the reliance technical team has no clue what to do and all they say is we are not able to locate your phone. Thanks & Best Regards, Ketan Jain

    well in July 2005 Vodafone(HUTCH at that time) started charging the customers @ 50p per min to access the customer care while roaming. so it's possible in india and in 2006-2007 if your have free Voda2Voda minutes and access the customercare they deduct the minutes from free minutes

    Change MCC to 404 Home SID to 14655 and BB Reg ID to 14655 u can call me if u not able to change as its lil tricky.. though this are settings for CDMA but Mobile Country code is required for servers to find it.. mail or call me@sadikk.com or 09819515198

    This is mainly not because airtel is purposely doing fraud, the problem is lack of security in the setup. Anybody with a pc and airtel connection can fake the msisdn with simple tools and download contents on account of any airtel number(through wap sites). This happened because somebody else has put a mobile number to download these contents and that number happened to be yours. Airtel can sure find out the person by pulling out logs from which gprs account the pages were processed.

    try to talk with airtel customer care and sort it out, but if u cant threat them you have weak point there, if u say take back the connection i am not going to pay, they will solve ur problem quickly. by the way airtel is one of the fraudster around.

    Airtel is always one of the biggest fraud. one of my friend took the Airtel broadband in noida. he was using plan with download cap. when he recieved the bill he found that they have charged him for the time when he was not at home and his modem was swithed off. he denied to pay the bill to them and asked them to take the connection back. After that Airtel was forced to waivoff the charges.

    - Try to solve this politely. Force is not always good. - Coax them firmly that you have other ways to resort to but since you want to clear this amicably, you are not using those ways. - Take copies of those sites where you found other people having problems. Talk to them and ind out more. - Visit the head office and talk to the senior-most person, with due respect and the firmness of an aggrieved customer. Be within your limits and within your rights. Situation should get solved.

    bro dont misinterprate my post , ur one misinterpretation will sprout different confusions in mind of hundreds of other members practically u wont need to hard reset the phone if u use webos repair utility
