Nokia C3, C6 and E5 Go Official, Coming Soon All QWERTY laden low to mid-cost smartphones Nokia has officially announced the existence of three new handsets - the Nokia C3, Nokia C6 and Nokia E5 all of them enabled with QWERTY keypads. The handsets which, according to Nokia, aim to put better messaging and social networking tools in the hands of more people around the world at affordable prices feature full email support, IM communities and social network integration. Let us now take a look at each of these new handsets in detail: Nokia C3 As the name suggests, this one looks to be the cheapest one amongst the lot. However, the C3 definitely isn t short on features. It happens to hold the distinction of becoming the first QWERTY keypad laden S40 device. The C3 features an easy to use home screen from where users have direct access to social networks. People can view, comment, update their status and share pictures to their favourite social networks such as Facebook and Twitter. It boasts of a 2.4 inch screen and also supports Ovi Mail and Ovi Chat. According to Nokia, this makes the phone easier for first time users who can set up email and chat accounts straight from the device, without the need for a PC. Surprise Surprise! Guess what? The C3 comes with Wi-Fi as well! There is a basic 2 megapixel camera at the rear. The phone supports memory expansion and can take up to 8GB of memory using microSD cards. The Nokia C3 is expected to be available in the second quarter of 2010 in a variety of colors, including golden white, slate grey and hot pink. The C3 is expected to be priced at 90 Euros (Rs. 5,500 approx.). Nokia C6 Next up is the Nokia C6 which moves up the price ladder and at the same time, also adds in a host of new features. Unlike the C3 which is a feature phone, the C6 happens to be a full fledged Symbian S60 based smartphone. It boasts of a large 3.2 inch touch screen display as well as a slide out QWERTY keyboard. Like the C3, this phone too displays social networking feeds right on the home screen. It also comes with a full suite of email and social networking capabilities. As for other features, the C6 boasts of a 5 megapixel camera complete with autofocus and flash. It also come preloaded with Ovi Maps and the Ovi Store applications. The C6 is expected to be available in the second quarter of 2010 at an estimated price of EUR 220. (Rs. 13,300 approx.) Nokia E5 Lastly, we have the Nokia E5, the youngest and the cheapest E-Series phone ever from Nokia! The E5 is a cute, -but professional looking Symbian-based smartphone and follows the successful blueprint of devices such as the Nokia E72 and Nokia E63. The Nokia E5 combines high quality business features with all of the personal networking and entertainment capabilities that a busy professional expects from a smartphone. The phone features a 5 megapixel camera, comprehensive connectivity options and integrated GPS. Like the aforementioned devices, this one too supports full e-mail, instant messaging and social network access. The E5 also provides direct access to over 90 percent of the world's corporate email through Mail for Exchange and IBM Lotus Notes Traveler. The E5 when launched would set you back by 180 Euros (Rs.10,000 approx.) and would be available by the third quarter of 2010. Courtesy : Techtree

Ek to yaar its a Freebie.. make it hard to get atleast - from buyer point of view. Freebie giver may just pick up the guy of his choice & PM him after hearing his plea instead of declaring the name. Then simply post as 'Item gone/given'. Or should i say, give it to the most deserving... how else does one decide that ?

For those who use smartphones for business use then only touch pro 2 saves the day. I mean practically if you are traveling a lot and your work depends on emails, word, excel, etc. Then with the five row keyboard on tp2, life cant get any more swift. Its indeed one of the best keyboards on smartphones. As for the sluggishness on any windows mobile handset I have already mentioned in other posts, guys please use HTC clean Ram by HTCaddicts.com . its a very popular and must have app for any windows phone. Its just like we always have to tweak our windows OS on pc too. But just based on the sluggishness we cant deny the ample other benefits this popular platform has, thats why its so widely used. Here I am attaching the cab, try it to know the difference. Fall in love with your windows mobile once again. Cheers

i fail to comprehend your confined knowledge. with due regard to your expertise. tell whoever you have seen using tp2 to upgrade to the latest rom available across the globe. let me add dear that touch flo 3d was long ago quit by users everywhere to more advanced Sense UI 2.1 & 2.5 Also to add even the original carriers are using windows mobile 6.5 now. Touch flow 3d was shunned with windows mobile 5 only. For any amateur user on windows mobile let me inform once again. windows by microsoft has been sluggish on every platform even on pcs. only with the dawn of windows 7 are we seeing some improvements but for starters there is a very popular application called HTC clean RAM which is a must for windows mobile to get rid of the so called sluggishness. its seems you guys have not even tweaked ever with the windows running on your desktop, you have to always tweak your OS to get optimum performance. as far as the new baby android is concerend, you must know that the hero is not equipped with a proximity sensor, so it won't lock the screen when you hold it up to your ear during phone calls where as tp2 has it. and you tell me that i have not used it but you have used both. how would you justify not being able to upgrade it to the latest and much updated android version 2 instead of being stuck on 1.5 which hero has. the poor battery life in comparison to tp2. the lack of world phone capability so you dont remain stuck just on cdma even after spending so much. what do you do when you system memory reaches its limit and you still have more things to install. i guess probably you guys never even install 3rd party apps. guys no personal grudge but you seem to be newbies to me as far using smartphones is concerened. i know the looks have all the jazz but we arnt ladies. if you are tech savvy hero with such limitations cant suffice. its still is in its developing stage. there's no syncing software to help you manage and transfer your music. As it is right now, you have to use the old drag-and-drop method using the USB cable. It'd also be great to have a file manager so we could more easily find files from our SD card. if you regret having used tp2, contact me for possibilities beyond your imagination. things you can put to use. Cheers

after having used touch pro 2 for a while now but extensively. i can confirm its a brilliant handset and unlike hero the android phone, you dont have to remain stuck to little system memory to install applications. instead in windows mobile you can install stuff on your memory card. another thing you will notice that android has way too much ui customization which ends up complicating a normal user. as not all people look for smartphone just to fiddle with it all the time. windows mobile saves the day here and with brilliant htc sense UI, you never get lost or too much to change. its friendly and beautiful. the only reason essentially you will find users looking down upon windows mobile is its sluggishness. But let me assure you that if you download htc clear ram from htc addicts site. then this issue is taken care of . after its just party time. curently i m playing sony experia advanced games on this phone. using citibank mmobiloe software, dictionaries, voice commands, email, almost everything you need. yeah not forget fring to chat with my goodle, msn, friends. good luck.
