Ok went thru the entire thread and I dont think that battery life question put up by parin was properly answered, so I'll reiterate again, since I plan to pick this handset up later this month. Been reading up battery reviews online about how the Evo battery lasts about 4 hours if you're using constant push mail and allied data usage along with normal/ nominal talk time. If 4-5 hours battery life is all you get for steady data usage, then it would be totally worthless, in spite of the fancy screen and size, right? And no, adding on a bulky brick like heavy duty battery is NOT an option Any real time feed back ( now that there have been quite a few users for this handset in RIMweb) would be of great help. Thanks guys!

I am using 2 units of Kent RO systems; TDS at my residence in Meerut is as high as 6-700 and 1 at my Delhi Res (TDS is about 250 in municipal supply), so its necessity for me; High TDS is the prime cause of all types of Stone problem whether Gall Bladder or Kidney Stones; These Kent systems are little costly and cost about 12-15K Recently I had to install 1 at my mom-in-laws house at Faridabad; There I experimented; TDS was around 600; The Aquaguard guy there offered to make me an assembled system with all parts same as being used by the top model of Aquaguard (costing about 14K); initially I was sceptical; he offered me the same system for 8K (after exchanging old Aquaguard for 1-1.5K); I found that a value proposition but was hesitant for the quality part; So I instructed him to get me all part checked; The most important part is the RO Membrane Filter (which I used of a good US make company); The 2nd most important part was the Peristaltic Pump (again US make); rest all pre and carbon filters were of Aquaguard; After using since last 3 months my mom-in-law is very satisfied with the quality of water and the overall build and product quality which looks and feel same as any high end system; so I found it a better proposition than my Kent systems or the original Aquaguard.... and all at just 8K with same 1 year warranty and at future home service... Remember that RO systems should reduce 90%+ of the TDS; so if TDS of untreated water is say 700 then treated water should be 60-70; though most systems reduce it to around 40. The ideal drinking water TDS should be around 100 but that can be compensated by the minerals in your diet specially having a lot of curd which compensates the natural minerals needed by the body. Risking not using RO just because it reduces minerals too much is just not worth taking... Go for RO without giving it a 2nd thought... Its the future and we use it regularly in all stages of washing and preparation in our pharmaceutical industry also...
