LOL - Accessory bundle is better in terms of 5.1 surround Heaphones (while playing movies through headphones) - Dedicated Camera Button (sorely missed on Incredible) - Superb call Quality and Tower strength - Great DOCK (costs about 2.5-3K extra) What I dislike - - Poor GPS (update: nearly there now) - Hard soft keys (update: have gotten better with use) - Bulk (twice as fat than Incredible) - HTC Sense interface was better (update: have since updated to Launcher Pro Plus which absolutely rocks) - Lack of Android 2.2 for now (update: now available) I got update notification and did the update to DI18 from the DI07 that was on the phone after activating my number by *228 It took me less than 30 minutes to transfer all my contacts, applications, sms's etc. into this new phone. TATA has increased the price of TATA Photon WiFi to Rs. 6499 from Rs. 4999 after looking at the demand. I feel this increment is stupidly calibrated for the following reasons. 1) TATA Photon+ (Rs. 2499) and Olive Nexus (Rs. 3499 -- web price) = Rs.5998 can together do what TATA Photon WiFi does. 2) TATA Photon+ new connection has Rs. 200 dicount on its monthly rental which is not there in TATA Photon WiFi 3) Olive Nexus is universal(meaning any USB modem from any technology(1x/EVDO/EDGE/HSDPA etc.,) from any operator can be inserted in) in functionality but TATA Photon WiFi is locked to TATA EVDO n/w http://www.tataphoton.com/tata-photon-wi-fi.aspx http://www.tataphoton.com/tata-photon-plus-on-computer.aspx http://www.olivetelecom.in/olive-nexus-vr9-wireless-router/

^ Try using MDN as login/password (ie your cell no) by going into preferences>network All outgoing being diverted to customer care may be due to telco wanting to verify address etc due to recent strictness by government. My 6 year old airtel connection has a similar issue now and the address they claim to have on record seems to be someone's idea of a joke - Dawood Park in Lucknow !! Am trying to get them to put a new address now. Big hassles due to stupid government policies.
