4 pointsWHY am I opening this topic? I waited for 2 days hoping this time someone else will start this topic and our beloved Rimweb will not be left aloof from the quite revolution sweeping the nation... Please See, Share & Spread... Bharat Mata ki jai... I claim no moral high ground as I run an industry and have to feed these corrupt, as I have already commented elsewhere on this forum that NO business in India is running without feeding these corrupt anywhere in this country. But my anger is seething. I have tried to raise voices against these corrupt but was gifted with my licences being suspended. I have been made an enuch on seeing the faces of 200 people who depend on me for their livelihood; my family, my achievements in life, which I fear to loose. I am a sufferer as well as a perpetrator and I feel nothing short of a "french" style revolution will make any tangible change in this country... We need laws as tough as in Singapore, where even a Taxi driver is afraid of being reported for over-charging. We need death penalties for severely corrupt. We need FEAR in the eyes of the corrupt not in the eyes of the corruptee. Launch raids against top 20-30 most corrupt Chief Minsters and Ministers immediately (my state included) and set a example of them. FEAR should percolate downwards, not the other way around as they want us to believe. Otherwise my Democracy would have failed me...

4 pointsOkay Guy I will uplaod Pre Drafted Letter address to all the People as per Video, All 60000 people just have to download it Sign it and Send it to the Addressee Things to know about Anna Hazare and Lok Pal Bill Who is Anna Hazare? - An ex-army man. Fought 1965 Indo-Pak War What's so special about him? - He built a village Ralegaon Siddhi in Ahamad Nagar district, Maharashtra, This village is a self-sustained model village. Energy is produced in the village itself from solar power, biofuel and wind mills. In 1975, it used to be a poverty clad village. Now it is one of the richest village in India. It has become a model for self-sustained, eco-friendly & harmonic village. This Person Anna Hazare was awarded Padma Bhushan and is a known figure for his social activities. He is supporting a cause, the amendment of a law to curb corruption in India. How that can be possible? - He is advocating for a Bil, The Lok Pal Bill (The Citizen Ombudsman Bill), that will form an autonomous authority who will make politicians (ministers), beurocrats (IAS/IPS) accountable for their deeds. It's an entirely new thing right..? - In 1972, the bill was proposed by then Law minister Mr. Shanti Bhushan. Since then it has been neglected by the politicians and some are trying to change the bill to suit thier theft (corruption). Oh.. He is going on a hunger strike for that whole thing of passing a Bill ! How can that be possible in such a short span of time? - The first thing he is asking for is: the govt should come forward and announce that the bill is going to be passed. Next, dey make a joint committee to DRAFT the LOK PAL BILL. 50% goverment participation and 50% public participation.Bcz u cant trust the govt entirely for making such a bill which does not suit them. What wil happen when this bill is passed? - A LokPal will be appointed at the centre. He will have an autonomous charge, say like the Election Commission of India. In each and every state, Lokayukta will be appointed. The job is to bring all alleged party to trial in case of corruptions within 1 year. Within 2 years, the guilty will be punished. Pass this on n show ur support Right now, Anna Hazare, a 73-year-old Gandhian, sits in the burning sun fasting, and he will stay until death -- unless the government agrees to consider a powerful law that could rid Indian politics of the scourge of corruption. This “Modern Mahatma” is taking the utmost act of courage and determination to push through a bill that would give an independent body the power to punish corruption -- even in the Prime Minister’s office. Across the country a movement has exploded, and a media storm of pressure has been sparked that’s engulfing Singh. But dirty politicians are desperately trying to water down or kill the law. For the first time in forty three years, we have the chance to change the way politics is done. Let's join together and stand with Anna Hazare to tackle corruption and clean up Indian politics. We have no time to lose -- sign the petition to Prime Minister Singh andsend this on to everyone:

2 pointsTHE WOMAN IN YOUR LIFE.......... Tomorrow you may get a working woman, but you should marry her with these facts as well. Here is a girl, who is as much educated as you are; Who is earning almost as much as you do; One, who has dreams and aspirations just as you have because she is as human as you are; One, who has never entered the kitchen in her life just like you or your Sister haven't, as she was busy in studies and competing in a system that gives no special concession to girls for their culinary achievements One, who has lived and loved her parents & brothers & sisters, almost as much as you do for 20-25 years of her life; One, who has bravely agreed to leave behind all that, her home, people who love her, to adopt your home, your family, your ways and even your family ,name One, who is somehow expected to be a master-chef from day #1, while you sleep oblivious to her predicament in her new circumstances, environment and that kitchen One, who is expected to make the tea, first thing in the morning and cook food at the end of the day, even if she is as tired as you are, maybe more, and yet never ever expected to complain; to be a servant, a cook, a mother, a wife, even if she doesn't want to; and is learning just like you are as to what you want from her; and is clumsy and sloppy at times and knows that you won't like it if she is too demanding, or if she learns faster than you; One, who has her own set of friends, and that includes boys and even men at her workplace too, those, who she knows from school days and yet is willing to put all that on the back-burners to avoid your irrational jealousy, unnecessary competition and your inherent insecurities; Yes, she can drink and dance just as well as you can, but won't, simply Because you won't like it, even though you say otherwise One, who can be late from work once in a while when deadlines, just like yours, are to be met; One, who is doing her level best and wants to make this most important, relationship in her entire life a grand success, if you just help her some and trust her; One, who just wants one thing from you, as you are the only one she knows in your entire house - your unstinted support, your sensitivities and most importantly - your understanding, or love, if you may call it. But not many guys understand this...... Please appreciate "HER"

1 pointAndroid chief Andy Rubin tackles open source qualms, says Honeycomb isn't 'one size fits all' Andy Rubin. Android Developers Blog Recently, there's been a lot of misinformation in the press about Android and Google's role in supporting the ecosystem. I'm writing in the spirit of transparency and in an attempt to set the record straight. The Android community has grown tremendously since the launch of the first Android device in October 2008, but throughout we've remained committed to fostering the development of an open platform for the mobile industry and beyond. We don't believe in a "one size fits all" solution. The Android platform has already spurred the development of hundreds of different types of devices – many of which were not originally contemplated when the platform was first created. What amazes me is that the even though the quantity and breadth of Android products being built has grown tremendously, it's clear that quality and consistency continue to be top priorities. Miraculously, we are seeing the platform take on new use cases, features and form factors as it's being introduced in new categories and regions while still remaining consistent and compatible for third party applications. As always, device makers are free to modify Android to customize any range of features for Android devices. This enables device makers to support the unique and differentiating functionality of their products. If someone wishes to market a device as Android-compatible or include Google applications on the device, we do require the device to conform with some basic compatibility requirements. (After all, it would not be realistic to expect Google applications – or any applications for that matter – to operate flawlessly across incompatible devices). Our "anti-fragmentation" program has been in place since Android 1.0 and remains a priority for us to provide a great user experience for consumers and a consistent platform for developers. In fact, all of the founding members of the Open Handset Alliance agreed not to fragment Android when we first announced it in 2007. Our approach remains unchanged: there are no lock-downs or restrictions against customizing UIs. There are not, and never have been, any efforts to standardize the platform on any single chipset architecture. Finally, we continue to be an open source platform and will continue releasing source code when it is ready. As I write this the Android team is still hard at work to bring all the new Honeycomb features to phones. As soon as this work is completed, we'll publish the code. This temporary delay does not represent a change in strategy. We remain firmly committed to providing Android as an open source platform across many device types. The volume and variety of Android devices in the market continues to exceed even our most optimistic expectations. We will continue to work toward an open and healthy ecosystem because we truly believe this is best for the industry and best for consumers.
