INTEX VISION – A Mobile Phone Especially Designed For Visually Impaired Source Intex Technologies today announced the launch of INTEX VISION –a mobile phone especially designed for visually impaired. The phone was unveiled by National Association for the Blind amongst its students and faculty. NAB is the largest non-government, voluntary organization in India. With a very simple user interface, the phone has a robust 'no-frills' design with lots of entertainment and utility features like wireless FM radio, audio player, expandable memory up to 2 GB, torch light, auto call record, mobile tracker, dedicated one-touch key for locking the keypad, a phone and SMS memory of 1000 contacts and 250 messages respectively. Developed at Intex's Centre for Design & Development, the Dual SIM phone (GSM+GSM) has a large Braile keypad to facilitate recognition of digits. People, who are not conversant with Braile, could switch on the 'Talking Keypad' feature which speaks out in English the number they have pressed. Keeping in mind communication needs in emergency, the phone has a unique SOS feature which allows you to save four emergency numbers. By pressing the SOS button, the call gets automatically directed to the first emergency number. Priced at Rs. 2600 (street price), INTEX Vision is an example of technological advancement to make life more enjoyable for the differently-abled. Running the Activation-Bypass Tool The activation-bypass tool is a Java application. To use the tool, you need to have installed Java and the latest webOS SDK (which includes the Novacom driver). Download the activation-bypass tool, which is available here, and save it in the location of your choice. Boot your device into recovery mode, as described above. Run the activation-bypass tool from the command line by issuing the following command: java -jar devicetool.jar The device will reboot. Once the device is booted, it will be in developer mode, and the first use procedure will not be required. The device will be ready to use, subject to the limitations of non-activation. i think above will solve your problem no need to download the full rom after that u can use the preware patch to enable 1st use & u are good to go

Interesting read 1. Most Creative Years in the Life The Nobel Laureate, Dr. Leo Esaki, delivered the distinguished lecture entitled "Innovation and Evolution: Reflections on a Life in Research" in the University of Texas at Dallas in the afternoon of Feb. 23, 2002 during the 2002 US National Engineering Week. In this lecture, Dr. Esaki indicated that most of the great discoveries and innovations by the Nobel Laureates occurred at the average age of 32 even though the Nobel prizes were awarded 10 or 20 years afterwards. Furthermore, Dr. Esaki indicated that the peak creativity of most scientists occurred around the age range of 20 to 30 years. As one gets older, the experience increases but the creativity decreases steadily with the age. It is, therefore, very important to stimulate, encourage and cultivate many young people to get interested in science and engineering at their young age and to provide the optimal R&D environment for these very powerful young scientists and engineers to unleash their very strong creativities during their most precious and creative years around the age of 32. First look at the OGT Tablet -- The World's Thinnest Android Tablet androidcentral Ask any analyst, technophile, or blogger -- this summer we expect a plethora of Android tablets. Some will be good, some not so much, but the OGT Tablet is something we're going to be keeping our eye on. Not only do they bill it as "the world's thinnest Android tablet" at a trim 7 mm and only 550 grams in weight, it has some very interesting specs. Besides the 1 GHz processor (unknown make at this time) and the 16 GB and 32 GB flavors, the OGT tablet comes with a working microSD card slot out of the box and the industry's first true color display at a whopping 188 ppi (pixels per inch). That's more than the Xoom's 152 ppi, and a lot more than the iPad's 132 ppi. Add in a 5MP rear camera and a 3MP front-facing cam, and both a 3G and Wifi only model, and this one already stands out from the crowd. Or at least it promises to. Will the OGT Tablet be one of the summer's winners? We'll have to wait and see. Product Website http://www.ogtmobile.com/
