5 pointsBBC recognizes startups and here are some inspiring articles on Indian enterpreneurs. Indians are often said to be not having the instinct to step out of the herd, we would rather work for a boss than be the boss. These articles are hence more insightful. 1 point^ If there is a A-key/SSD Mismatch, you will not be able to make outgoing calls.... So it seems there is no problem with your Akey so dont even think of touching that section. Even I am facing the problem that people can't call me and I get a missed call alert message. It is a network problem in Delhi wherever there is low signal. Nothing to do with your handset or Akey. You can check your signal level using soft available on android. just search in the android market.

1 pointIf you are looking for more than a day of battery life, don't go for this. I am using this mobile for more than a month now. Tried different combinations (with 1x, EV, no internet, no GPS, WiFi only, low brightness, medium brightness, vibrate, silent without vibrate etc.). This phone has never gave me more than a days battery backup. The only option is buy a backup battery

1 pointI second what @anandjm said completely on post#7....+1 for you... Absolutely, we don't have any necessity to copy something from western world which is totally tuned and more often purposely skewed to exploit other countries. I also agree to @dipanlahiri statement on "adopting to our scenario". It's whole purpose of this consultation after all.... Nobody stops anybody from submitting cloud_report_final.pdf document as his suggestion to TRAI. All stakeholders will tear open the inefficiencies in those regulations and would help to bring meaningful regulations which suits our own interests. As @Rajan says consultation is wider, it's just not only on security and privacy. @anandjm, The issue of security lies mainly due to the reason that the fort is owned and manned by our friend Brutus. It's better not to park our secrets there......

1 pointPlease see this - Digit tested the HD DTH services of the six major Indian service providers, Airtel digital TV (HD), Sun Direct HD, Dish TV TruHD, Tata Sky+ HD, and Videocon d2h, to tell you which is best suited for your needs. Overall Verdict Tata Sky+ HD was judged as the Best Performer for a host of parameters including its extremely responsive user interface. Quality of reception was flawless and it was the only service that offered six proper HD channels along with seasonal HD channel like Set Max. Tata Sky+ HD scored the maximum in terms of features offered. Except for preview while surfing, it has all other features. Videocon is the only one offering 3D support, but unless there is 3D content like movies or TV shows being broadcast, that feature is quite useless. Airtel Digital (HD) TV was judged as the Best Buy thanks to its economical pricing for the content offered. It scored the most in the Ease of Use section, thanks to its user-friendly interface and ease of operations, but the user interface could have looked better. Tata Sky+ HD and Sun Direct HD have beautiful and simple interfaces. Absence of universal remote functionality affected Tata Sky+ HD’s tally. Videocon d2h came in second thanks to the well defined interface. Videocon d2h 3D HD DVR was awarded the Editor’s Pick for its consistent performance across all the four parameters against which it was tested. It stood second in terms of Performance. It also scored the second highest overall. Moreover, the 3D function makes your service future proof if you have a 3D TV. It lost out on the total cost of ownership factor as it does not offer any discount on the HD-DVR box like the other competitors. But we are hoping that with cut-throat competition, Videocon will have to cut costs somewhere. As far as the best digital video recorder goes, Tata Sky+ HD was awarded the Best Buy thanks to the variety of recorder settings offered. The 500 GB hard disk which comes bundled with it, allows you to record more hours of SD and HD programs than the Videocon d2h and Reliance Digital HD DVR, for the same price point. Genre-wise Service Provider Recommendations English News - Tata Sky+HD English Entertainment - Tata Sky+ HD or Reliance HD DVR Infotainment - Airtel Digital TV (HD) Music - Reliance HD DVR English Movies - Tata Sky+ HD Hindi GEC - Tata Sky+ HD or Videocon d2h or Dish TV TruHD Sports Fanatic - Tata Sky+HD Source: thinkdigit.com

1 pointOur Company is providing maintenance of power supplies / UPS / Rectifiers for Indus. Though we are not directly involved in the Radio Infrastructure but I can say that this problem is due to overlaying of 2.1GHz Radio units alongside the old 900/1800 DRUs and simultaneously using the old microwave infrastructure for Tower to Tower to MSC datalinks. The multiplicity of devices have made the network very complex. Airtel Delhi is the oldest operator using oldest equipment and has very heavy traffic. Others can also face such problems though companies like vodafone have slowing been upgrading their older systems. These kind of outrages are not likely in CDMA systems. Interconnectivity in CDMA is through fibre optic links and also for CDMA to work, all Towers in same SID have to transmit in sync ( CDMA is different technology all together )

1 point@ All Should we consider the results posted from the respective workplaces in the 'Top Five' list? As these cannot be subscribed by the public at large. Also fields like 'Plan you are on' do not apply here. That didn't preclude me 'cos the bigger picture here is to let the forum members evaluate / let know about how the various ISPs fare, which can come in handy. So do take part
