the whole point of the topic was that you [and 99%] of amateur photographers do not NEED SLR! try out any 5mp / 5x zoom digicam to see which one suits you the best if you plan on entering any contests with your photos then you could go for 10x optical zoom but u still wont NEED a SLR if you plan on selling your photos for publication you can go for 10 mp / 10x optical only if selling your photos is your primary source of income, then should you go for SLR also if you simply like to buy expensive stuff for pride of ownership [there is nothing wrong with that] but please don't confuse a NEED with a WANT! its like buying a bmw when you are learning how to drive when a humble maruti will also do the job ...

Source. Google has now launched a flight schedule search feature, though it insists it did not use ITA (Google was recently allowed to buy the company) technology. The news was posted on the official Google blog, and explained the company’s rationale behind the move: “finding flights is one of the most popular online activities, so to make it a little easier to find results for your travel-related searches, you can now see a quick summary of flight information right on the results page. Now, all users will require is a destination in mind, and when they enter a simple query 'flights from [source] to [destination],' they will get a some non-stop flight schedules, or a summary of daily flight details. A full time table is available as well, in a link entitled “Schedule of non-stop flights.” Looks like hopping flights aren’t supported yet. The feature will also allow users to see all the destinations possible from a particular airport, by searching 'flights from [source].' For now, though the service has been launched globally, it is available in ten languages – English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Dutch, Brazilian Portuguese, Polish, Russian, Turkish, and Catalan. Apropos ITA, Google will admittedly be using their technology in the future, providing even richer flight options and searches, not in the least, including price searches. The current move is apparently just “a small step towards making richer travel information easier to find,” and Google hopes to “make finding flights online feel so easy, it’ll feel like... well, a vacation!” Flights from source to destination All flights from source

Blockheads? No... most likely underhand dealings to get the contracts. Who else will buy such rubbish? The stuff they seem to be supplying BSNL seems to be even worse than what they put out in the open market.

Already mentioned the discount code rcomlb1 in my post... No. That one won't be upgradable. "Upgradability" means today you buy a Go Flex Series Drive with USB 2.0. Some time down the line you have a flashy new PC/Laptop with USB 3.0, ESata, Firewire port and you are itching to get the higher speeds but you have a USB 2.0 Drive... For any other brand, you would have to replace the whole drive... In Go Flex series, you can buy the additional accessories mentioned in my link to make it USB 3.0, Esata, Firewire and enjoy higher speeds without buying an altogether new drive.

You can't get warranty on pixi being an imported handset but so many Daddies, Doctors, Professionals, Industrialists, Young, Old & practically people from all sections of society across India are using Imported handsets at RIMweb without any serious issues. Choice really is between whether to get a wonderful imported handset with great features at a very low price OR continue using overpriced, underfeatured handset with 1 year warranty the need for it may not arise at all.. see, if i stayed with my dad i would have bought the pixi, but i'm doing engineering and stay in a different city. if an issue arises, then my dad is not that tech savvy to fix it.. i'm getting him evdo so that he atleast starts checking his emails on his own using his phone... and u know dads, if an issue crops up i'll be blamed for it completely
