I have added the Network field now. I have limited it to single field as the profile area is already big. You can edit it through Your control panel > Profile > Change Profile Information

Pricing - fascinate. Specifications - fascinate. Availability in forum - fascinate. Incredible is older phone than fascinate. Software - no difference till 2.2. 2.3 is not officially available for fascinate but it does not bring much extra except bragging factor. 3.1 will probably not be available on either phone officially. So even though HTC is quicker in updates it does not matter because these phones have reached end of life for official updates. You would also not miss HTC sense because you have never used it. Stock Android with touchwiz/launcherpro is also good. If you really want HTC over Samsung because of brand wait for Evo3d. At the price in which fascinate is selling on forum you cannot go wrong.

I'm facing three problems after I switched over to android, especially to Fascinate. First, it doesn't provide SMS delivery notification. Applications available in the market cannot solve the problem. I'm talking about Tata Indicom. Other members on Reliance may share their experience, if otherwise. I'm not sure whether it is an android issue or not. Also not sure whether the later versions of android (froyo or gingerbread) have solved this SMS delivery notification issue or not. Second, Fascinate doesn't allow conference calling while in roaming. Adding a '3' before connecting the second number doesn't solve the problem. I never faced this with hTc Touch (Sprint Vogue). This is a very big problem for me. While I'm in home circle, I face no problem in making conference calls. Third, if you use TataZone internet packs which are wap packs, you will be able to browse only on the default browser. Better browsers like Opera or Dolphin cannot be used. Also you will not be able to use google applications like Market, Map, Gmail etc. Although I access Gmail on wap in a round-about way. On WiFi all applications are fully accessible. This problem was not there at all with windows phone. These are the only issues I experienced with Fascinate. Otherwise it is a marvel. The super AMOLED screen on gorilla glass is super sensitive and fantastic. The SWYPE allows very fast input (I'm writing this post on my phone quite fast) and this facility is absent in Incredible. The GPS, accelerometer, compass, camera, speaker of Fascinate are of very good standard. You'll love to use this sleek marvel.

Android apps. On iOS. Android open source project - free. Apple iPhone - $$$. iPhone running Android Market - . Source. The open source project by a company called FlexyCore, stems from their iSpectrum product that was a Java SDK for the iPhone. When Apple placed restrictions on the way iPhone applications could be created, they stopped focusing on its development, and instead focused on solutions for Android. With their new Android knowledge they have taken their Java SDK to the next level, allowing it to run Android applications, which too are written in Java. They have ported the Dalvik runtime to iOS along with a subset of Android APIs (Android Java Core APIs and 3D APIs). They have also eased the task of developing the missing Android APIs using Java bridges for the iOS framework. The project called "in the box" is open source under the Apache Software License 2.0, and will allow Android developers to create Android applications using the Android SDK on any OS, and subsequently test and build it for iOS using "in the box" on a Mac. Such application can even be submitted to the Apple AppStore! The developers of the application have created a video explaining how "in the box" can be used to run an application written in Java and compiled using the Android SDK on an iOS device: http://www.youtube.com/embed/fhyd18h_as4
