I have almost completed the update to IP.Board 3.2 now which as you can see brings in a new look with more features. I mentioned "almost" since I haven't added back the usual addons like Google Search, Sidebar modifications, other customizations that was there previously, etc. which I will be completing in a couple of days. I will update this topic with a list of changes that is visible in the front end later, until then look around and check out the new stuff. Meanwhile please do let me know if you notice any issue (other than the missing addons/options as mentioned above) so that I can check or consult with the developers. Thank you!

For Mannual Setup Follow Below Instruction if u dont want more software on ur taskbar or download the connectify software from below This article will help you convert your Windows XP , Vista and Windows7 based laptop in a Wirelss HotSpot Once you setup your laptop as HotSpot then you do not need a router, switch, hub, etc… to form a network, in fact other laptops or PC's can connect or access the internet through this newly created HotSpot What do I need to set a HotSpot? 1. Active Cable Internet 2. Laptop 3. Wifi on Laptop 4. Wired net connection 5. Or USB Data Card Once you have all the above things mentioned, you are all set to follow the steps: How to setup HotSpot on Windows7 1. Got to Control Panel 2. Click on "Network and Sharing Centre" 3. Under Tasks choose "Setup New Connection" 4. Wireless "Ad-hoc network" 5. Now type in a "Network Name" 6. Choose "WEP" from drop down menu, input the password if you don't want to share the connection with the entire world 7. Click "Internet connection sharing" 8. Done! How to setup HotSpot on Windows Vista: 1. Got to Control Panel 2. Click on "Network and Sharing Centre" 3. Under Tasks choose "Setup New Connection" 4. Wireless "Ad-hoc network" 5. Now type in a "Network Name" 6. Choose "WEP" password if you don't want to share the connection with the entire world 7. Click "Internet connection sharing" 8. Done! Now a WiFi enabled machine will be able to connect to the network you have just setup with the WEP password Lets setup a HotSpot on a Windows XP machine: 1. Go into Control panel 2. Open "Network Connections" 3. Right click on "Wireless Connection" and click on "Properties" 4. Click on the "Wireless Networks" tab and select the check-box which says "Use Windows to configure my wireless network settings" 5. Under "Prefered networks" click "Add" 6. Type a name in "Network name" text box 7. Select "Shared" from the options under "Network Authentication" 8. Under Data encryption select "WEP" and type in your password in "Network Key" field and now click "OK" 9. Now the new HotSpot should show in the list of preferred networks. 10. Click on the "Advance" button and select "Computer-to-computer (ad hoc) networks only" and press close 11. Hit "OK", we are done with the wireless connection properties One more step, we have to change something in the wired connection setting so that it knows that it has to share connection with the computers accessing our HotSpot. 1. Go to local Area Connections(if wired) or Data Card Connection, right click it and select properties 2. Go to the "Advanced" tab or Sharing in Win7 & Vista and under Internet Connection Sharing check the box which says "Allow other network users to connect through this computer's internet connection" and make sure the box under that is NOT selected so that no one can disable the network remotely. 3. Hit "OK" 4. In Case of Win7 & Vista use Wireless Connection from Dropdown Menu I hope this helps setting up a wireless connection without a WiFi router. Have FuN! Update ...... ^ ^ ^ Samsung Galaxy 10.1 Tablet is priced around 36K in india. The Ebay US Deal of the Day for the same is Rs 19,349. Let's add Rs 3,000 for Custom & Rs 2,000 (Higher Side )for SNS Shipping. Grand Total Rs 24,349. I am still trying to solve mathematically how can Rs 24,349 be higher than Rs 36,000 !!

^ What other option is there? We do not have none of the above option in EVMs. And worldwide first past the post voting method is used, UK tried to implement alternate vote but public rejected. “As per the present procedure, they can go to the polling booth and fill up the required form under Rule 49 (O) of the Conduct of Election Rules stating that they do not want to vote for any of the candidates. But this process does not provide secrecy. The Election Commission (of India) must include the option — ‘none of the above' — in the EVMs (Electronic Voting Machines) itself,” he suggests. http://www.hindu.com/2011/02/28/stories/2011022863350500.htm

Airtel has launched the world’s first USSD-based Facebook access service in India, a way to access the everyone’s favourite social network without an internet connection. Airtel users will be able to update their Facebook status for free, and, for Rs. 1 a day, view/comment/Like news feeds, post on walls, confirm friend requests, find and add friends, and view notifications. Because USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data) is a session-based communication, unlike SMS, which is transaction-based, it has significantly faster response times, and is more suited for content-based and interactive applications. It functions somewhat like a menu-based browser. The technology is unique to GSM, and is a built-in way to transmit data over signal channels. Airtel’s USSD solution is based on Fonetwish, developed by U2opia Mobile. Commenting on the service, Mr. Henri Moissinac, Head of Mobile Business, Facebook said: “At Facebook, we are always exploring ways to enable people to easily connect and share with friends on Facebook wherever they are, whenever they want...This innovative USSD-based Facebook access service that will be offered by Airtel is another affordable and easy way for people to stay connected with their friends and family through Facebook.” Source: thinkdigit.com here.

I guess this might be ok for someone using a VERY basic phone. Even a phone that can run Java and a lower version of Opera Mini will prolly find access thru USSD menu an awful experience.

The article is well..... good. I had gone through the Jan Lokpal draft. It is indeed strong and impractical in some conditions. But, I firmly believe that the course of action and flow of event in this matter is actually perfect. Jan Lokpal bill is a proposed draft. It was never meant to be passed and implemented then and there on the floor of Jantar Mantar. The bill will be passed by the parliament and it is clear that government will make sure that such strong bill is never passed. Equally what we need to make sure is that the loose and loop-holed draft proposed by govt. should also not pass through. Jan Lokpal is bargain draft. Its like bargaining for that pair of shoes on FS. I like the shoes, he will ask 750.00. I determine they are worth 325-350. But i will ask for 250 and thus finally get them for a balanced bargained price. I read somewhere “The minute you settle for less than you deserve, you get even less than you settled for.” By proposing a strong bill, it is ensured that even after dilution of 25-40% in the provision of the draft, the bill will do better than the govt draft.

I have a friend in Sweden and I used to talk to him once a week for ten minutes, using either my TATA postpaid number (Rs12/min) or RGsm (Rs9.19/min).. Both Tata and Ambani are kind enough to charge the same during roaming too.. Now I am looking for other options (PREPAID preferred) for reduced ISD call charge to Sweden, either as default tariff or using Booster card.. It is OK for me, if tariff is less only in Home circle Further I am NOT happy with skype. My friend is using Telenor of Sweden, but I have NOT seen Uninor offering low ISD calls to its customers in Sweden or am I missing something??? Please help me friends...
