As far as 1080i is concerned, it will play on any HD TV (HD ready as well as Full HD) i stands for interlaced, which means when the frame changes, 540 horizontal lines change first followed by the other 540, as opposed to a 1080p or progressive scan, where all 1080 lines change at the same time. Since there is interlacing some people consider that the quality of a 720p source is than that of 1080i because of progressive scanning.

HD ready is 720p whereas Full HD is 1080p. That means, the picture on a HD ready display is divided into 720 horizontal lines and scanning is progressive(p) whereas for Full HD the display is divided into 1080 lines and the scanning is progressive. Keeping the ratio 16:9, you get 1280 vertical lines for a hd ready display and 1920 for a full HD display. They say for a screen size less than 50 inches it is very difficult to differentiate between a HD ready and Full HD display unless you are sitting very close to the display. if you know the rules then you can get your work done. like i got my wife's passport issues under tatkal initially i applied it under normal scheme but after 2 weeks i needed to it urgently so i went for tatkal in delhi. initially RPO didn't allowed me for this conversion when i meet the senior officials they agreed for this conversion after that RPO informed that earlier file is missing so passport can not be converted peon asked for 5k for this. i refuesed to pay this and meet the senior peoples again and i got the passport next day. even LIO didn't asked for money. similarly i lost my RC and the DL i went to Transport Office and i followed the process and i got both the documents issued. so this way i didn't paid the bribe anywhere on the other hand promoted for the corruption by because i paid the Rs 20 to Notary for attestation of each document for duplicate RC and Driving License despite the fact that Supreme court has fixed much lower rate. but in delhi every notary has same rate you don't have option other then paying Rs 20 for each stamping. come to noida/delhi traffic is horrible because of corruption during common wealth games we have seen the same roads there was no traffic violation and i never faced any traffic problem. but after games again traffic issue. There is illegal car/bike parking has been created on both sides of roads they don't have any authorize parking agreement. during weekdays they will charge you Rs 20 for car and Rs 10 for bike where as they will give you parking ticket of Ts 10 and Rs 5 respectively because this is the official rate of parking for authorize parking. you are forced to pay them because if you leave your vehicle without paying them you can find damages to vehicle and if you complain to police they didn't listen to you because they have huge share in this illegal parking. come down to sector 125 noida HCL office outside this you can see how they park the vehicle on road they turn 4 lane road to single lane which causes huge traffic problem in that area during peak hours. I have never seen any toeing van to toe there cars the fact two police where as you can see the van in other offices in the same area. this shows how the corruption is working in india. all of us responsible for the same but many a times we don't have place to complain against them. we need something like lokpal to whom we can complain
