Samsung Announces Ch@tOn Messenger: Cross Platform Free Service Source Official Link: Still texting? Check out Ch@tON Samsung today announced the launch its own cross-platform messaging service called Ch@tOn. It will be available in more than 120 countries supporting up to 62 languages and will be work on almost every device from feature phones to smartphones. A PC/Tablet client is also in works and will be shown at IFA. Ch@tOn provides two options for users depending on the type of phone they are using. A basic functionality option is available for feature phone users who prefer simple and easy usage, allowing users to share text, pictures and calendars from an easy-to-access client. Smartphone users can enjoy advanced feature options. They can allow users to see how often they communicate with their buddies using the Interaction Rank feature, as well as post comments on buddies’ profile pages. Users will be able to have a 1:1 conversation, group chat, group messaging and even share images, videos, voice messages, contacts over the platform. It will be available gradually across all devices such as smartphones, tablets and laptops after the showcase at IFA 2011. guys seriously , if you want to have kickass battery backup and and snappy, i mean snappy as hell, interface then do this ( btw i am using it atm and am very very happy coz i am not missing no calls and the setupis very fast and doesnt have any issues whatso ever ) 1.. ABOUT MIUI , well it certainly looks eye candy , but it was sluggish , and i faced quite many force closes on it , so wouldnt recommend it and personally i love the touchwiz interface . I am able to use data... a guy called massaint has released an MIUI rom 1.8.26 for Non-verizon users. I am onto that actually and data works pretty fine.. in fact most of the apps are faster and data more stable on this try it out and its freaking addictive i m tellin u !! I am yet to find out how to connect qpst while using an MIUI rom.. other than that everything else is flawless now with the updated Glitch Kernel (with voice fixes) and data working MIUI ROM !

^^^^^ use prefixer a software in android Market to convert number on the go when u dial. There are good examples in site where u can configure to replace +91 to 0 or 0091 to 0 or any other even it can add 0 to all no of 9xxxxxxxxx (10 digit).
