Frns I had ordered 2 laptops "Samsung RC Series Laptop (NP-RC530-S01IN) (Black) Samsung RC Series Laptop (NP-RC530-S01IN) (Black) " from etsbuy.com at a price of Rs 38,000 each. ( i7 2nd gen, 8 gb DDR3, 6mb chache,Blueray, original win 7, 750 gb HDD + 500 gb external HDD free) . Actual price of this product is rs 54,000 on samsung site. After 2 days of booking, i got the call from letsbuy that my order has been cancelled as samsung is not ready to provide the laptops. I refused to accept the money back. They sent canellation mail with reason " as per your request, we are cancelling the order". i decided not to leave these rascals...and wrote mails to letsbuy CEO, COO, letsbuy's Facebook/ twitter, CEO's twitter, Samsung marketing head, Samsung product head, samsung support (about malpractices of letsbuy and declining orders stating that samsung is not honouring the orders). Also created a page on facebook stating everything letsbuy did to me. And now result is that yesterday morning 9 am , i recd call from letsbuy that pls take your mail back. We have despatched your laptops and i will be getting them on friday . I thought, i sud share this wid all of you so that if something like this happens with you then you can also take necessary action. Thanks

Going by R-GSM pathetic speeds in GPRS, one may need 90 years instead of 90 days to consume 20 GB Data in 2G.

^^^^ You need to upgrade your RUIM to OMH... Ordinary RUIM has NO settings for data, whereas OMH has... And OMH handsets doesn't comes with data settings in-built... So obviously with ordinary RUIM (with NO DATA settings) it can't access net and it needs OMH RUIM....

It is a very small time interval, and let us wait for the confirmation. If true then it will shake the basis of Physics as we know it. Obviously, the current model works, but then there has to be a higher model which has this one as an approximation. It will be like the early 1900's when Quantum and Relativity took over from Galilean/Newtonian Physics. It is not that Galileo was wrong, but it was only an approximation from the 'true' story. Now there may be another truer story.

^ For all my heavy duty and business related work for which I use softwares like Photoshop, AutoCAD, CorelDRAW, MS Office, Tally and other custom made business softwares, I use my Desktop PC (assembled but very high configuration specs). For normal browsing only I use my Laptop. I like to watch movies also on my Desktop's 19" LCD as I feel anything smaller than that is not justified for this purpose. Also even the best of laptops cannot offer you the sound quality of even a 2.1 sub woofer based Creative/Lansing speaker system, which I have installed on my desktop. Now coming to difference between netbook and notebook the main differences are in - - Processing power (though netbook's atom based processors suffice in all general environment) - Ram (that is a major problem in netbook's limitation to max. 2GB); here the notebook wins... - Hard disk (here the netbook's 160-250gb suffices for most general application) - Screen Size and resolution (here the netbook looses big time and mostly the notebook's win; however for general browsing etc. and if your eye sight is good (LOL), then netbook COULD suffice) - Keyboard and Trackpad (here also netbook's are nearly there but still lack the tactile feel of the notebook's input devices) - Battery Life (No competition; Netbook's win by a huge margin) - Portability (again Netbook's win big time) - Economy (No competition here either; the Netbook wins) Now choose what is more important to you out of the above parameters and make your decision...
