OK folks, the wait is OVER. A short unboxing photo shoot is finally here.... phew... First, is the BOX - Its quite SMALL, compared to my hand - The Box Contents (pretty frugal) - First Glimpse of the INCREDIBLE - All Contents revealed - Now without their clothes (lol) - The Phone - The Back - The top ports (Power, 3.5mm jack and Back Camera with dual flash) - The Side Volume buttons and Micro USB port - The RED As$ revealed - The beautiful charger - Some more close-ups - The Screen Guard revealed (a perfect fit) (optional accessory) - The Lock Screen, Home Screen, Clock Application - Various Scenes (Themes) - Friends Stream and Pinch to Zoom works great - The Clock and the Optical trackpad - Video to follow. Update:- As the EVO has been delayed to/beyond June, I shall be going in for Verizon Incredible... Launching 29th April... My order date around 7-10 May... Should be with me around 25th May... The Only difference I see between the EVO and Mr. Incredible is - - 4.3" Screen to its 3.7" (though both have same resolution of 800x480) and the 4.3 inch beast may become TOO cumbersome to handle... - HDMI Output in Evo vs Component Output to LCD TV via accessory cable on Incredible - 1GB internal memory in Evo compared to 8GB Internal gigs in Incredible - Additional 1.3Mp Front camera in Evo - 4G vs 3G (dont laugh... we are still awaiting 3G) - 170 gm EVO vs 130 gm Incredible - No Track Pad/Ball on Evo vs latest track pad on Incredible Comparative Scores by latest surveys - HTC INCREDIBLE 85/100 SPRINT HERO 81/100 BLACKBERRY 9700 77/100 APPLE iPHONE 3GS 83/100 HTC HD2 79/100 Comparison - EVO vs Nexus 1 vs Motorola Droid http://pinoytutorial...t-specs-review/ 1 step painless rooting and recovery instructions - here OFFICIAL 2.2 FROYO UPDATE PROCEDURE - here

If you want long term peace of mind, I would suggest you to stay away from Skoda. It's a fantastic product but the Skoda horror stories are growing day by day. Just recently I came to know about 7-8 DSG failures on the Skoda Superb. Its 18.5~19L on road price all inclusive (with Uttaranchal registration and insurance) Civic - Though a fantastic machine suffers from low ground clearance and bottoming issues which is not at all suitable for our Indian roads. That's why the sales have bombed after the initial surge. New Civic is around the corner in jan-Feb but with no diesel I dont see much of a future for it. Renault Fluence - Loaded in Petrol, domestic in diesel. Upgraded Diesel version at par with Petrol coming in November. Petrol gives average of 6~7kmpl in the city. Diesel is same 1.4 mill that does duty on Logan/Verito. Overall not as good as the Altis. Jetta - Overpriced (16~20L on road). Looks like Vento (a 10L car). No Auto A/C even on the 20L model. Solid built but some cost cutting is there even after price increase (like no hydraulic boot opening like the previous model). Costly to maintain. Kizashi - Sold only 8 units in August. That tells the whole story. A good product but would have done better with a diesel mill and a 5L price cut. Sonata Transform - Again sold just 12 units in August. They are phasing it out and the new Sonata/i45 (at 16L) and Elantra/i40 (at 14L) is on the way in Jan~Feb. Best looking Hyundai's ever. Jack of all trades (master of none) like most Hyundai's. Altis is boring and unflashy but will drive and drive till you drop (that is why it is selling 1000 units every month). It's maintenance in the long run (if properly maintained) is cheaper than a Santro. Whether it supersedes all the others is a personal choice. It's Clutch Plate costs 6K while the Laura's costs 45K. You/Your B-I-L should test drive all the cars before reaching the final decision. Links to my long term ownership reports for 2 Toyotas are already given on this forum. Read them and then make your own decision.

At XDA, wildstang has a stock ROM which is rooted and de-odexed. I have installed it and found it to be satisfactory. If you are rooted then this ROM is ideal since you do not loose root and S-off status. The ROM is pure stock with only the build.prop file edited.
