2 pointsNo these are just normal GSM phones... I have the Dell XCD 35 for over a year now... I bought it for 13 K then... I don't care what ppl say this is an awesome phone the body may seem weak but I can bet no one will be able to find a single scratch on it... Also the screen isn't a Gorilla glass but I have never applied a Scratch Guard and yet its scratch free... The hardware is awesome too... I know its a 600 MHz Phone but due to it being very mod friendly almost all the roms (Including the alpha Ice Cream Sandwich) support overclocking of anywhere between 720 to 749 Mhz... also its minimum processing speed can be underclocked to 129 Mhz giving an incredible boost to battery life... In my daily use I charged it once every alternate day.... The charging speed is awesome too it will be charged fully in max 40Mins even after 1 Year... The Screen is the best feature... its very crisp and clear thanks to its high density... with 480*800 Pixels fitted in a 3.5 inch screen trust me the movies look brilliant... I also have the epic 4g and when fully zoomed out many websites texts look distorted where as in the XCD 35 it looks amazingly clear... Trust me the second you will turn the phone on for the first time the screen will mesmerize you... ^-^ Also the phone dimensions are impressive... I know I might seem a bit too excited about a mid range phone but that is what surprises me, as even after 1 year I still love the phone so much...

1 pointWhen you say you can't see the other PC 'using windows explorer' - do you mean 'Internet explorer' (browser) OR do you mean the Windows File/Folder Explorer ? Because windows explorer will only show you files on the other IP when you share some folders by right clicking them on the other PC. If you put the IP in a browser it will only show you a page if you have got a Web Server running on the other PC for eg IIS or Apache or Nginx etc Now for using DB you need to run the server on the other PC and then either give that ip for your db requests or maybe set it up with webserver etc. First see If you can share folders on the other PC and see them when you put share path (for ex \\115.240.241.111\myshare ) Then install IIS on the other PC and check from same PC if you can see IIS page when you type 127.0.0.1 in your browser (or type localhost). Then try from other PC by putting the IP in the browser (for eg http://115.240.241.111 ) If you can see webpage from same PC but not from other, then check firewall (or just stop it for some time to identify the problem). If firewall is off and you can ping then you should see the webpage. Once above 2 steps are working try to ftp/db server. First try both on the same PC by using localhost or 127.0.0.1 instead of IP. If that's working only then try from the remote machine. BTW, please tell me how to apply for getting a fixed/static IP on Reliance netconnect+ or on Reliance 3G data cards. I didn't know they provide that. Using dyndns.org or noip.com is ok for limited use but gets cumbersome if you have a lot of machines

1 pointit wil be very very slow in this on xp - i have tried it - it world like hell i did using creating a DNS server and then attaching a DB it in remote location i connected the two PC using Hamachi ---- instead use RPD you will have peace of mind

1 pointSteve Wozniak says he loves android phone over his iPhone 4S. he is the guy who was 1st in Q for 4S. Why the Smartphone Wars Will End in a Stalemate Source Speaking toThe Daily Beast, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak just laid out the difference, clear as day: "The people I recommend the iPhone 4S for are the ones who are already in the Mac world, because it's so compatible, and people who are just scared of computers altogether and don't want to use them. The iPhone is the least frightening thing. For that kind of person who is scared of complexity, well, here's a phone that is simple to use and does what you need it to do." Did Woz just call you a simpleton? Right on, Woz. The iPhone is pretty to look at and very uncluttered. Every operation is stripped down to the simplest possible version of it; there's no confusion. For a lot of consumers, that's exactly the right solution. But that design philosophy leaves you in the cold if you actually know what you want to do with a smartphone. The iPhone 4S is Wozniak's main phone, but he needs a nice Android to fill out Apple's missing features. "I wish it did all the things my Android does, I really do," he says. For example, Woz is falling out of love withApple's Siri voice assistantbecause it just isn't as helpful as the voice control on his . Coming from someone as enmeshed in the Apple story as Wozniak, that's harsh criticism. In fact, he says Siri was a better assistant before Apple bought the company behind it. A report from the other side I'm looking at the rivalry from the other side. Having used an Android phone for a couple of years, I was recently brought into the Apple fold when my wife asked for an iPod Touch for Christmas. What honey bunny wants, honey bunny gets (especially at a tremendous 37% Black Friday discount). So there we go, and I have no desire to use her shiny new toy. I'm so used to having fine-grained control over everything a smartphone-style gadget does that I'm lost on the iPod. Nothing happens when I'm doing the long clicks that usually bring up some kind of menu in Android apps. I miss the "back" and "menu" buttons. This geek wants to do stuff that the iPod won't let me, even in cross-platform apps I've been happy with before. This thing is actuallyharderto use, not easier -- if you're used to being in control. But the missus loves this simple model, and our cell-phone minutes last longer now that she has FaceTime in her hands. Not that Skype, Fring, or Google Talk couldn't have done the same thing, but all her friends were already caught in the Apple ecosystem, so it's FaceTime or nothing in this social circle. That's how Steve Jobs wanted his ecosystem to work, and it has clearly reached a critical mass. Shutting down iTunes, FaceTime, and all the other iStuff now would be like ripping the spine out of a living, breathing thing. Apple ain't going away anytime soon. So I live in a house divided. The iPod Touch and iPhone aren't what I want, but they're perfect for my better half. That story plays out in millions of households every day, which is why both systems are likely to keep on trucking whilelesser competitors rise and fall below them. The smartphone war is not a zero-sum game -- you can and will have more than one winner. Fool analysts have compileda short list of three surefire winners regardless of which platform proves more popular. This special report is completely free for a limited time, soget yours now.

1 pointits pretty easy 1.. download ODIN on ur PC 2.. attach data cable with PC 3.. backup all ur data and apps from your current ROM with the help of any app ( if you arte already rooted then use mybackup root from market ) its very easy just install and run and select BACKUP and backup all your apps first and then your data 4..note down your MIN no just in case 5.. switch off phone 6.. remove battery 7.. hold vol down button and insert data cable 8.. a big yellow DOWNLOAD triangle will show on phone screen 9.. double click ODIN and run 10.. you ll see a yellow COM port number flashing in one of the top empty boxes , that means your phone is connected to PC correctly and with ODIN as well 11. now dont touch any other option on ODIN screen just hit PDA button mind it just the PDA button and give path to the EH03 odin TAR file stored on your PC 12.. hit start and leave the PC and phone alone and dont touch anything the process will take 5 to 10 min , you might feel its stalled somewhere but dont touch anything let it finish 13.. once finished the screen will go blank on the screen and in ODIN you ll see a message of SUCCESS 14.. put battery back and boot ( booting for the first time will take longer ) have fun !!!
