Dear Members, I keep on getting calls and mails from the RIMwebians regarding any CDMA Prepaid Plan available to use on imported phones or official phones. Okies here you go now:- Plan - This is a plan in which you need to send a SMS, Rs. 5 shall be deducted from your core balance and you shall get 1.38 hours of usage daily so it comes to 41hours for 30 days on Rs. 150. The day you need the plan, you may subscribe it, the day you dont need it, skip it, it is NON AUTO RENEWAL PLAN. And i think you may do it multiple times too in a day if you want more hours in certain day; Suppose i know that i need 6 hours of internet today, I shall do the SMS steps 4-5 times. Here is the process now:- The SMS Codes are different for different circles. For Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Bihar, Karnaraka, MP, CG, Orrisaa, Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat, Kolkata, West Bengal, HP and Rajasthan SMS "ACT<space>NET50" to 53739 For Mumbai, Maharashtra and Goa SMS "ACT INT" to 53739 And NO such plan for Kerela, Tamil Nadu, Chennai and UP circles. Settings which needs to be used:- To utlise the benifit of this plan you need to use NetConnect settings, that is Username and Password of PPP dialer should be your MDN (Mobile Number) and if you used on RWorld platform you shall be charged as per RWorld tariff, not this plan. Note - It is a time based plan, so when you dont need internet you need to turn it off, otherwise if you kept turned it on by mistake, your all balance shall vanish by deducting @ 60p/minute. In case of any issue, Please post in the topic itself, and if you dont get any revert within 24 hours, Mail the issue - amitjain@rimweb.in Regards Amit Jain

Flashed this... Its Faster than all ICS custom ROMs for Nexus S 4G. But features in Custom ROMs are better than this (Which is the reason we go for Custom ROMs)... Extract all Files in "IMM26.zip". Extract the .tar files as well. You will get following files ---- boot.img bootloader.img recovery.img signed_radio.img system.img userdata.img Flash thru Adb & Fastboot --- fastboot erase cache fastboot erase userdata fastboot erase system fastboot flash bootloader bootloader.img fastboot reboot-bootloader fastboot flash radio signed_radio.img fastboot reboot-bootloader fastboot flash boot boot.img fastboot flash system system.img fastboot flash recovery recovery.img fastboot flash userdata userdata.img fastboot erase cache

Till iOS 3 all carrier.plist was Unsigned / via Testing Hack in iTunes, but as many users start using illegal tether, carriers started bugging Apple to make carrier.plist unhackable. After iOS 4.0, carrier.list’s all keys have Signature Data Fields, Every time apple Server pushes this file to iPhone all Fields edited is hashed with there Private key and Public key in iOS devices with its UDID verifies it and if it verified then only the Data in that Keys is uploaded to Base band or other OS parts. Now The Only way out is to bypass verification and allow private Modification. CommCenter is the part of OS which verifies the Signed object data. and if we can patch it, we can bypass this and use custom carrier.plist for further CDMA Hacking. Recently Discovered Patches for iOS 5 for A5 (with iPhone 4S devices) is as follows Here is the CommCenter patch for iOS 5: CommCenterClassic (iPhone 3GS/4 and iPad/iPad2 - Infineon base band): @8F910 (file offset @8E910) 0x3046-> 0x0120 (Patch to be done on CommCenterClassic) CommCenter (iPhone 4S -0 QualComm base band): @A2AA8 (file offset A1AA8) 0x3046-> 0x0120 (Patch to be done on CommCenter) Upload Patched CommCenter to /System/Library/Frameworks/CoreTelephony.framework/Support ldid -s /System/Library/Frameworks/CoreTelephony.framework/Support/CommCenter chmod +x /System/Library/Frameworks/CoreTelephony.framework/Support/CommCenter Still is is work to be done and discussed in air every thing can be clear only after. Jailbreak for iOS 5.0.1 on A5 Hardware is Available

Internet Service Provider Name / Type : Reliance Broadband (wired) Plan you are on : Night Booster Zoom 1 (1 mbps from 8 AM to 10 PM; 2 mbps from 10 PM to 8 AM - NO FUP - Rs.1125 + tax effective cost per month as I paid yearly) Location you are based on : Trivandrum Comments: I used to have Tata Indicom Broadband earlier and their switch equipment developed bad battery backup and so connectivity gets cut when power goes off where they have kept it. They did not replace the equipment/battery even after complaining for a year. So I changed primary connection to Reliance Broadband and haven't seen it lose connectivity ever yet. They use more DSLAM instead of switches (TATA keeps fewer DSLAMs and more switches) and these DSLAMs are kept in their mobile towers where they have good power backup that can run for days. However you have to keep in mind that they have a web based login, so when you switch on modem you have to login through a web page. I do that normally though my phone and keep it connected to wifi so that there are no timeouts for no usage.
