Depends really on your need. If convenience of 3G Dual SIM android is a must for taking benefit of tariff plans or other reasons, then there is no other handset in the market at the moment which is as VFM + having all features as Mi 280. If Dual SIM is not needed, then the comparison is like this, Mi280 has a dedicated GPU. Galaxy Y lacks any GPU. Galaxy Y has 832 Mhz ARM V6 processor whereas Mi 280 has 650 Mhz. Y looks better on paper in this regard but won't make a great difference in day to day use. Plus Mi280 will make up with it's GPU. Y has 1200 mAh battery compared to 1000 mAh of Mi 280. Y will have better battery life due to higher battery + Single SIM. If you'll use only Single SIM in Mi 280, battery life will be improved. Still Mi 280 battery life will be poor in comparison. Both has 240 x 320 resolution. User memory also similar. Rest all mostly same. Samsung is expected to have better component + build quality + service support compared to spice. But understand the difference in quality for such budget devices compared to Spice won't be so huge as compared to higher priced models. Samsung too is working within a budget and can't give you quality comparable to S II. Hope now you're able to make the judgement yourself for your question: Whether you want to spend 1,500 more or not?

Probably the autoconfigure has confused it for a GSM modem OR usb switching (from mass storage to modem) isn't working properly. Try the following:- (just confirm that the modem is working in windows first) Right click on the WiFi type of icon on the top bar right and click 'Edit' then select tab 'Mobile Broadband' and click 'add'. See if it shows you your ZTE2766 modem name in the drop down below. If it does, then just click next and select country and operator etc and add login/pass etc. If you can't see the ZTE 2766 device mentioned in drop down, then do the following and tell me the output: 1. Insert your AC2766. Wait for 5 seconds and then type "dmesg" in a shell as root. (ie. first open a terminal/shell by clicking on start menu or unity button on top left and typing "terminal" and then clicking on the icon which comes. then type "sudo su" to become root. In case you have set a root password then type su and enter your password) In the dmesg output it will say something about usb device, waiting to settle etc and see if it mentions any error or now. Or just copy paste the last 10-15 lines (use mouse to select and then press ctrl-shift-c to copy or right click > copy 2. Type "ls -l /dev/ttyU*" in terminal and see if it shows /dev/ttyUSB0 /dev/ttyUSB1 etc If you have another USB modem dongle, just try that to confirm that there's no issue with your usb subsystem. Will give you more steps once you tell me whats happening with above commands.

^ @Kanaga, I had a talk with MTS official of their eastern regional office. He assured me of all-out aggressive bidding plan in case their petition fails in the apex court. He also apprised that their policy makers are having the plan of pan-India launching of lucrative data packs for mobile in near future.

Hi , I've tried it and used it for a day before moving back to CM9 alpha2(I'm a ****er for ICS experience, addicted to it !!). CleanGB is quite stable , infact the most stable MTD Touchwiz rom if you like the stock GB experience. You can definately use it as daily driver. EPIC TIMEZZ
