MEIZU Announces The World’s First Smartphone With The Quad-Core Exynos A9 CPU Source HONG KONG – April 16, 2012 – MEIZU today announces the brand new MEIZU MX Quad-core smartphone to be available in June this year. Among many surprises, the MEIZU MX Quad-core is the first smartphone in the world to use the brand new and powerful Exynos A9 quad-core processor. The MX Quad-core uses a power efficient quad-core Exynos A9 CPU with industry-leading 32 nm HKMG technology which has been optimized to reduce CPU power consumption by up to 20%. In addition, it will last even longer with a new 1700mAh battery. With its state-of-the art hardware, the MEIZU MX Quad-core is better in every way than its predecessor. The MEIZU MX Quad-core CPU is 60% faster, and GPU 50% faster compared to the previous MX. Whether it is browsing through menus, playing the latest games, or watching 1080p video, the MX Quad-core easily beats dual-core devices. MX Quad-core comes with a vivid 292 PPI high definition ASV display. With no visible pixels on the screen, it provides the user with the ideal smartphone viewing experience. On the back side, the MX Quad-core has an 8 megapixel BSI camera with an f/2.2 lens aperture, capable of taking great photos even in low light conditions. The MX Quad-core will come with MEIZU’s unique Flyme OS based on Android 4.0, providing users with beauty, simplicity and buttery smooth performance at every interaction. The MEIZU MX Quad-core will be available in MEIZU’s 400 retail stores during June at ¥2999/3999 CNY and $3099/4099 HKD for capacities 32GB and 64GB in Mainland China and Hong Kong, respectively. With MX Quad-core, the company also releases MX back covers in five colors in addition to the original white, allowing users to experience the MX on their own terms. Coinciding with the announcement of MEIZU MX Quad-core, the MEIZU MX will have its price adjusted to ¥2399 CNY and $2599 HKD in Mainland China and Hong Kong respectively. The reduced price for the MEIZU MX is effective as of April 16, 2012.

i disagree brand associations are very fickle if it were that easy to manage customer perceptions, any telco could have associated with a luxury brand and improved its image: imagine airtel offering a free iphone4 with every merc sold or vodafone offering a free android handset and sim with every bmw the reality simply does not work that way there is no easy way out no quick fix to your reputation it actually takes years of hard work and improving customer service as opposed to an ad campaign no matter how long or expensive i agree we should wait and see but the writing is already on the wall for such tie ups

Its an AKEY issue; Pls contact your handset Seller and get A-Key. You will need to send AKEY to your Handset using CDMA Workshop

If you are on a MTD based rom and if you want to get back to stock froyo which is on BML, as per my experience your only option is odin with repartion checked.

i doubt it very much good for google - but a money loser for rcom rcom will spend rs. 30 cr of its own money for ads / media spends while google will only put the same amount in online ads which is a notional cost if google had spent the same amt of its actual money on other sites not owned by it then it would be comparable investments google will have book keeping entries only with no real cash changing hands unlike rcom the projection of 2 lakh handsets is too optimistic - i expect barely 1.5 lakh also its very unlikely to retain 2/3rd of customers as rcom subs - i guess it'll be below half that's a total of hardly 75 k vs projection of 133 k lets assume that rcom gets the max of rs. 300 arpu which is impossible from ALL its retained subs at an acquisition cost of rs. 30 cr = almost 3 k / subs that's 10-11 months to 'recover' the ad cost alone do keep in mind this is not breakeven yet with margins of hardly 9-10% that's rs. 30 net monthly or 8 years to cash flow breakeven! nice job rcom! they would have been better off simply pre-paying debt by 30 cr and reducing interest charges by almost rs. 3 Cr / year from day 1 instead of waiting 8 years to breakeven ... keep in mind this is assuming ZERO churn which impossible and no interest of all its outstanding debt which avg is about 10-11% annually else it will push out the breakeven further out to beyond 16 yrs! who keeps the same handset beyond 5-6 yrs?

Akhilesh, man I am not sure what went wrong with you. For me and others who I know use this recovery over photon it works like a charm. Now I would suggest you do a battery pull and try again to get in to recovery. If you are successful try flashing the working backup. Finally If it too fails wait for sometime once you boot your phone at times it takes a while to get past the boot screen. But if does not boot up with say 5 to 10 mins than I guess rsd is the only option left but still you can flash the backup you have on the sd once you do the rsd. Warning :- Please contact your seller before you do the rsd on this phone and take his advice over this current situation. If you are up to doing it yourself read about the procedure carefully before you proceed as it can brick your phone and turn it in to a paper weight. You will need the prl file NV dump file for the data and calls working. Also you will need to feed the min manually if you do not have the min I would seriously recommend not to proceed with rsd. On the tools end you will need cdma workshop, Motorola drivers to get started. Also make sure your battery is fully charged before you start this process. Visit this link to get a brief idea about using cdma workshop and you will get the prl and cdma workshop exe there. For NV dump you will have to get it from your seller. Hope your issue gets resolved soon.
