1 pointGuys, I'm a Photon user and I was facing few problems related to Banners / Carrier Name on my photon like even after flashing NAM/PRL, it only shows "Sprint" as Network Name and not "Reliance". Did so many R&D on this and finally I've made a file for the same which shows Reliance. How to: 1. Your phone must be Rooted.(If not Google on How to) 2. Download the attached zip file & extract it. 3. Copy & Paste the eri.xml (attached) file on Internal Storage 4. Open Root Explorer or any other file explorer you use. 5. Copy the eri.xml (attached) file.. (Long press on file and select copy) 6. Paste it in "/data" folder of Root of your file system. 7. Now long press the eri.xml file and tap permission and select all check boxes. Give it full permission. 8. Exit the Root Explorer 9. Restart your phone Voila.. Your phone will now show... "Reliance" as Carrier Name nJoy... eri.rar

1 pointIf CDMA coverage in your area is absolutely not workable then obviously you have to go for GSM version. However if it is bearable then take CDMA version. As your EVDO usage is moderate, cheaper GSM 3G Data may not matter much to you but CDMA voice clarity in everyday usage will be beneficial. As far as battery performance is concerned there should not be great difference between GSM and CDMA version. I think Mr. Parin already has Droid Razr Maxx CDMA version in his hand. Enquire... Imported CDMA version may turn out to be cheaper than Official GSM version..

1 point10.6-inch Microsoft Surface Tablets Announced, Powered By Windows 8 Source Hands-on with Microsoft's new Surface tablet PC. >> http://www.theverge.com/2012/6/18/3095335/microsoft-surface-hands-on Microsoft Surface for Windows RT vs. Microsoft Surface for Windows 8 Pro >> http://www.theverge.com/products/compare/5799/5800 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AKFIG4c2U2A After days of speculation and rumors, Microsoft's major announcement has just been unveiled at a press event in Los Angeles: a Surface tablet. We suspected the company might be working on its own tablet, and Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer revealed the device on stage at Milk Studios in Los Angeles today. Discussing Microsoft's history with Windows, Xbox, and Kinect, Ballmer introduced a video of the company's hardware products over the years before unveiling Windows 8's companion, the Microsoft Surface. Microsoft's Steven Sinofsky took to the stage to describe the hardware of Microsoft's Surface tablet. There will be two options for Microsoft's Surface PC, one powered by Intel's 22nm Ivy Bridge chips running Windows 8, and another Surface powered by an ARM chipset and Windows RT. The Windows RT version is just 9.3mm thin, weighs 1.5lbs, includes a built-in kickstand, and is the first PC with a vapor-deposited (PVD) magnesium case, according to Microsoft. It will ship in 32GB or 64GB versions, complete with a 10.6-inch ClearType HD display (of unknown resolution). Microsoft's Intel-based Surface tablet will run Windows 8 Pro, with a thickness of 13.5mm, a weight of 1.9lbs, and USB 3.0 support. This particular version will also include magnesium casing and a built-in kickstand, but will ship with either 64GB or 128GB storage. Additionally, the Intel version will include additional digital ink support through a pen that magnetizes to the body of the tablet, and a 10.6-inch ClearType "Full HD" display. Both of Microsoft's Surface tablets feature optional Touch and Type keyboard covers. Microsoft says suggested retail pricing will be announced closer to availability and is expected to be competitive with a comparable ARM tablet or Intel Ultrabook-class PC.

1 pointIt's been confirmed by Avishek and Hitesh that '+1' can be given through Tapatalk. I never use Tapatalk, as I like the full browser view of our forum and use it on Opera Next (sometimes on Dolphin). Now it's time for you to thank Kapil (to practice giving '+1' through Tapatalk and to recognize Kapil's very helpful contribution)

1 pointIf battery life is the primary issue for heavy users like you, then no smartphone on the planet currently matches Droid Razr Maxx atleast on that parameter. You'll have to also consider whether you would like to shift to GSM from CDMA because the version officially launching in india will be GSM. Another thing, Droid Razr Maxx is on Android 2.3 but ICS is promised. There were reports that Maxx shipping in Germany was already having ICS. Non-removable battery is a concern when android hangs but this tip on how one can power off maxx when it freezes may help >> Soft Reset - DROID RAZR / RAZR MAXX by MOTOROLA

1 pointWhen HTC and Samsung came out with burst camera in their quad core devices we were all excited by one of the camera feature "Burst shot mode" But now thanks to Spritefish we can now have the same experience on our Android devices and you don't need to have the One X or Galaxy S3 Fast Burst Camera has made its way onto the Play Store and it does exactly what we were looking for. Simply hold down the button and you can snap up to 30 photos in a single second if your device allows it. On low-end devices, 5-10 photos per second is possible. Hold shoot button for continuous burst, or tap for fast single shots Installed on EVO 3D and worked .
