7 pointsHow To Bypass Country Restriction And Install Any India Region Locked App From Android Market On Your Imported CDMA Handset This is a problem faced by all imported CDMA handsets we are using in india. It's normally not possible to search, download and install apps from the google play store which are locked as india region specific. Examples are netbanking apps from indian banks and many other apps. Let's cure it. Requirement: Your handset needs to be rooted. Procedure: Download and install Android Market Enabler App attached with this post. Open the app, Tap on Set Custom Button. Erase the existing number appearing in gsm.sim.operator.numeric. box. Input any Indian GSM Operator MCC-MNC Code from the list given here. >> http://mcc-mnc-india.blogspot.in/ I choose Vodafone Mumbai Circle. Enter the code without any comma, character in between. For example, enter 40420 for Vodafone Mumbai. Tap set to this values. Allow Superuser access when asked. Done. Now you can search and install any india region locked app from google play market. Problems & Solution: If it's still not working, ensure that Google Play Store App is not open OR running in the background. Close it / OR Force close and relaunch. Version attached here does not work for set for fake GSM Operator on boot. It will work only till you don't reboot the phone. If the phone is rebooted, repeat the above procedure. If the above procedure is not working in Android 4 Ice Cream Sandwich ROM's, refer this post for solution >> http://www.rimweb.in..._15#entry271971 com.vicono.AndroidMarketEnabler-1.apk

1 pointI don't think any operator charges additional money for (2G/3G) data roaming....though the CCare may say that roaming charges are applicable! I have used my Vodafone 3G (Bangalore) prepaid connection in AP and TN and the data pack that i had activated in Bangalore was valid in other states aswell and no additional charges were levied.

1 pointDoes MTS provide GSM also? or is it that you had already got the international roaming SIM (GSM) from MTS? And does MTS provide international roaming in prepaid? RCOM till date does not provide IR on even RCDMA, leave alone RGSM both prepaid. Secondly, if IR was not activated prior to departure, I think it may be difficult to activate it now. Maybe you will need copies of your brother's PP, Visa etc. RCOM insists on these at the time of IR activation. Maybe if you have all these copies also, you will further need authorisation from your brother in your favour to enable MTS to activate IR. Not too sure about MTS procedures... You will need to contact someone with more knowledge on MTS. Finally, why not try Matrix or Uniconnect or Magellan or Reliance World SIM? All these are far, far cheaper than the current IR charges of any existing Indian cellcos. I visited Europe for 15 days in May 2012 and I used both Matrix postpaid and Uniconnect prepaid. At that time, Uniconnect offered free incoming, now they have started charging i/c. Matrix postpaid bill came to Rs 16.5k whereas I used Uniconnect for all i/c calls and my total prepaid bill came to Rs. 2.5k. I used up the TT on my Uniconnect as the Sales man told me not to bring back any balance. Even then, the call charges were very, very reasonable as compared to Matrix. In your case, maybe you will have to apply for the connection in your name (but that's not possible as they will require Visas, PP etc) You can call the Matrix or Uniconnect guy over to your place and discuss it out. All the best.

1 pointI think this some half baked 'report' filed by some reporter who couldn't come up with anything else. If you think logically, the idea is ridiculous! Different phones, different OS & would all manufacturers create such a security loop hole? Its like trying to say that if you try to use your brains during Ekta Kapoor's serial, your TV will explode!!

1 point^ ^ ^ OK. Check this on Ebay. Huawei HG556a 3G Wi-Fi Lan Router/Adsl2+ Router 3G Usb & Adsl Modem Router 300M >> http://www.ebay.in/i...#ht_3367wt_1139 RIMWeb Topic for above >> http://www.rimweb.in...-huawei-hg556a/

1 pointThe listing description is quite clear that both are routers without inbuilt ADSL modem. That USB slot is for connecting ADSL broadband through wired mode to PC and not for USB 3G modem dongle. Your queries are confusing! You started with a stationery router operated with electricity (but without built in ADSL modem) with 3G USB stick support, then asked for whether ADSL modem is there or not in 3420/3220 and in between also asking for olive nexus comparison which again is a battery operated portable WiFi Hotspot without built in ADSL modem! First ascertain what exactly is your need!
