2 pointsI dare note differ parin and Rajan bhai. Afaik non removable battery will be a huge disadvantage over S3. With such a huge display I really doubt it will last for 8 to 10 hours with 3g on. Moreover I feel superamoled is more battery friendly compared to Lcd2 technology. Also I have seen reviews where people prefer amoled over lte as though lte has a fantastic display but it still looks washed out in front of amoled at times. (matter of choice) Further back to the original point myself using a epic 4G touch (display 4.5 as compared to 4.7 on lte) with stock setup and gps wifi bluetooth off and display set to least possible setting however with evdo on full time can hardly make 8 hrs that to if I don't call much. And I carry an additional oem battery to swap after the first one dies. Considering these stats a user who needs to be on 3g all the time and is on the move would prefer s3 over lte just for the removable battery. P.S I understand that it is a smart phone and you have to live with the battery life. But no matter how good the phone is if it is not able to serve its purpose I guess it will be not be worth for certain users. Just my 2 cents. Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2

2 pointsMotorola’s Patent Lawsuit Against Apple Goes After Siri, Location Reminders, Email Notifications & More On Friday, Google’s Motorola Mobility unit filed a patent-infringement lawsuit against Apple with theU.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) in Washington. So far, Motorola has only confirmed that this lawsuit has indeed been filed. The details of the lawsuit remain elusive, as the actual documents won’t be available on the ITC’s website until Monday and Motorola hasn’t released any concrete information about its allegations, yet. We have now learned, however, that the lawsuit, which seeks to ban imports of Apple’s hardware into the U.S., accuses Apple of infringing on seven of Motorola’s patents. These patents involve location reminders, email notifications, video playback and Siri, the flagship feature of Apple’s current iOS lineup. According to this information, Motorola’s lawsuit argues that virtually every single hardware product Apple currently sells in the U.S. (with the exception of the classic iPod and iPod nano) infringes upon these seven patents. Sadly, that’s the extend of the information we have so far, but we will update this post once we learn more or once the full text of the lawsuit is available online on Monday. When Google bought Motorola, it also acquired the company’s 17,000 patents (and 7,000 pending ones). At the time, many pundits assumed that one of the reasons for the acquisition was this trove of patents. Google itself, by virtue of being a relatively young company, does not have enough patents to defend its Android OS and other mobile projects from potential lawsuits by more established players in today’s litigious environment. Now, as the patent wars continue to escalate, it looks as if the company is ready to use Motorola and its patents to go on the offensive. http://techcrunch.com/2012/08/18/motorolas-patent-lawsuit-against-apple-targets-siri-location-reminders-email-notifications-more/ Poor Apple.....and poor Apple fanboys.....

1 pointFirst of all the 6GB for Rs.99/- is only valid in Rajasthan(few selected states as well) and all other states have different usage quota. I have used this on Samsung Galaxy 3 i5801. You can browse internet on mobile and download apps from market at 3G speeds actually. Here is the speed test. But if you download anything it will give you only 2g speeds but browsing was ultra fast. I checked data usage balance through MBAL on 55333 and it was accurate.(started with 6144 MB and reducing slowly) I checked my account balance through *367# and no money was cut for browsing. Guys this is crazy and you can enjoy your social networking apps and other stuff on real time 3G. So hurry up Reliance GSM prepaid users , grab your MobileNet recharge now.

1 pointSamsung Site & Support : http://www.samsung.c.../SPH-D710ZKASPR User Guide : http://org.downloadc..._User_Guide.pdf & here - http://www.samsung.c.../SPH-D710ZKASPR Engadget Review : http://www.engadget....g-touch-review/ The Mammoth in hand: Stock Photos: Initial Observations- 1. Build quality is plasticky but top notch; Very Very light feel in hand 2. 4.52" Super AMOLED Plus screen is brilliant but colours slightly over saturated than Super LCD of EVO3D 3. The size is just too big and any bigger will be difficult to handle in normal human hand 4. The sound quality is just brilliant 5. The 8MP camera is just brilliant and better than EVO3D but no 3D effects here. It can take videos with flash light ON. 6. Google Talk Video works for 1st time for me on any stock rom. It is on 2.3.4 (Gingerbread) 7. One hand handling feels cumbersome to me though my friend Dj says just the opposite. 8. The soft key buttons work perfectly for a change (unlike the original Epic) and just like an HTC 9. I miss the Sense interface of the EVO3D though the Touchwiz is quite improved from its predecessors 10. We can easily set lock-screen photo of our choice though it is not that customisable like HTC sense 11. GPS locking is now without any error and very fast like HTC 12. 16GB in built memory + option to add upto 32GB micro sd card 13. NO dedicated camera button unlike the 3VO 14. Notification light is now present in Galaxy S2 15. Humongous 1800mah battery 16. Default voice settings already on EVRC B 17. Its superfast. A little faster than the 3VO. 18. The fonts look quite big due to lower resolution than the 3VO but that should be taken as a positive as its easy on the eye and an ideal SENIOR CITIZEN Phone... Everything looks so BIG. 19. The patterned battery cover and all plastics are of the highest quality only attainable by Samsung. 20. Unique Voice Talk and Driving Mode from Samsung reminds me of the SIRI What I don't like: 1. Overly plasticky and light. Feels like it can slip out of hand easily due to lightness. 2. Over saturation of colours (in some photos). Videos just look unbelievable. 3. Unrefined interface compared to HTC. But 3rd party options like Go Launcher and Launcher Pro Plus ko bhi to sales deni hai...lolz 4. Lack of bluetooth file transfer drivers (big defect from Samsung). I am unable to transfer files to my laptop on Windows 7 from the S2 via bluetooth. Update: Bluetooth is working perfectly. There were some driver problem in my PC. 5. Notchy EVDO speeds compared to HTC. Still does a respectable 1.2~1.5MBps here in Meerut (refer screenshot) 6. ##DATA# can reset data settings if you go into EVDO settings from the phone. Be careful with that. 7. No headset in box (cost cutting nowadays?) 8. No kickstand aka Motorola photon or the original Evo. Even with these, it still remains the MOST DESIRABLE SMARTPHONE in the world at the moment. It's sales numbers are proof of that. I may have a little critical view as my expectations from the S2 were sky-high... Do this: 1. Change Proxy to 0.0.0.0 to enable YouTube Playback on EVDO by doing this - http://www.rimweb.in...026#entry237026 Edit 09-08-2012 2. Fix GPS issue after official ICS update FF18 - Now for some PHOTOS: The Box The Box opens in 3 layers The Box contents and completely unboxed The 1800mah Battery The Front and the Back The Left, Bottom, Right and Top The battery door opened, The Camera and the Speaker The Volume Buttons, 3.5mm Jack, Power Button & Micro USB jack The Lock Screen, Top edge (Notice the Front camera, Sensors and LED Light), Bottom Edge (Notice the Thinness) & Bottom Menu

1 pointYAY... What a nice surprise today morning... I even pinched myself to check I am NOT sleeping still... So here is the good news... Moto has released the BootLoader Unlocking tool for some of its devices (First devices being Photon Q, Razr Developer Edition(WTF), Zoom WiFi, Zoom VERIZON(YES, NO TYPO here) ) and I hope many more will follow in near future... This is the first time Moto kept its word (wrt Photon Q BL UnLocking)... Thanks to GOOGLE... Now I am eagerly waiting for International Razr/MAXX BL UnLocking(I doubt Verizon version will get one)... When the news of Google interested in buying MotorolaMobility came I expected three things from Google viz 1) Reducing the Blurness in UI 2) BL UnLocking 3) More C+G G+G Android phones for China and India.. Thanks Google for making my two dreams come TRUE... Link here and here ===================================================== Motorola Launches “Unlock My Device” Site – Bootloader Freedom Has Come At Last (Update) by: Tim-o-tato | posted 08.17.12 | Breaking, News Double check your calendars – is it April 1st? It’s not? Then there’s been a massive rip in the space time continuum as Motorola has officially published the new “Unlock My Device” page. On the site, Motorola device owners can finally unlock their device’s bootloaders and install 3rd party software. Naturally, there are about one million warnings and hoops to jump through, but it has finally come. To unlock your device, you will need the Android SDK and Motorola’s Drivers. Once you have those things set up on your computer, it’s merely a “follow the instrcutions” type of deal. Interestingly enough, when trying to find out which devices are supported by the Unlock Tool, it took us to an “Access Denied” page here. Fantastic news going into the weekend. We’ll keep checking to see if we can get any more information regarding which devices can now be unlocked using the tool. Update: Motorola has updated their list of supported devices. There is two phones and two tablets that are currently able to have their bootloaders unlocked. Photon Q RAZR developer edition XOOM – Verizon XOOM WiFi We will continue to wait for Motorola to expand on this list. Via: Motorola

1 pointHello, I am using lte. I must say for evdo lte is best. Radios of htc is much better then samsung. In my home i use to get an average of 512kbps in day time on samsung. Same as in htc its more then 1 mb. Also compared same side by side. As per battery is concern, It has quite a good battery. I travel daily from my place to south mumbai. 60km. It takes 2 hrs to reach my office. All the time screen is on. Background data on. Max payne played all the time full brightness battery on reaching office 60% battery remaining. Watch 1080p videos all the time full brightness. 58% Downloaded 560 mb videos frm my place network switches many time frm 1x to evdo. After reaching to office it was 50% Very impressive i have tried same on epic fascinate. Battery backup is best. I m on custom rom viper 4g. S3 for sure will hav best battery. Only con is unremovable battery. Btw, its easy to do hard reset, just holding by power button couple of second. it is same like pulling out battery. Also it got watchdog timer feature in case someting got wrong. It get restarted. Ips lcd is really cool, it is as good as super amoled. Brightness is more thn epic.Everything look quite natural. Super amoled seem to have over contrast. Though every phone has thr con n pros. Btw, samsung s3 used pentile matrix display same as in photon. Some user might not loved it. 1 pointYou can go for bh-503 with eye closed. It has good srereo quality sound with good range and great battery backup. I am using it for almost 3 years.
-
1 pointNot a bluetooth expert at all but heard that Nokia BH-503 is good in stereo bluetooth headsets. Can't suggest any deals for it because at most places it's listed with either dealer warranty or OEM, so may be mostly fake/clones/OEM. If you forego stereo/music requirement, Samsung HM1100 is a good VFM bluetooth with Multipoint means you can connect 2 phones. Can get it from here for Rs 599 after using coupon code CCDNY >> http://www.dealsandy...ml/?city_cat=82 OR for Rs 750 from Flipkart >> http://www.flipkart....bb-bbcee6cfe690 These are all that is listed on philips website >> http://www.philips.c...N_CONSUMER=true Can't recommend a particular one as i have no exposure to any of them.

1 pointTwo ways to get the GPRS pack balance.. 1- SMS 'MBAL' to 55333... This will give balance in MB. Ex: 2004.18 Mb 2- Call *367*3# This will give balance in Rs... Ex: 20522.82 Rs.. Both balance are same.. Question : how Rs and MB are same? Answer: Convert that Rs in Paise and Result is your Balance in KB. In above example 2052282 kb is the balance. and To get this balance in Mb divide the Result by 1024. and you will get 2004.18 MB.

1 pointMotorized TM machines a waste let it be 10k or 40k, they give you a false feeling of exercise, run 1km on it and 1km on open air u will know the difference. Amit I suggest invest on good pair of shoes and a gps phone ( i use xperia x10 mini) and go for run in open it is far better, if u want to workout in closed then go for cross trainer or stationary cycle (spinning) I am sure you might even get lucky....
