2 points@grebel.... flash the stock (reliance) froyo rom first. Setup netconnect in settings-wireless & n/w-mobile n/w and make sure data 1x and evdo is working. Then follow the procedure to flash the gb rom (geewiz/tsm/superclean) directly without wiping data, dalvik and cache. You will now have data working on GB rom of your choice.

1 pointAs per Tushar Gupta's request, I present the following guides to root and install recoveries on Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus S7500 Tutorial No.1 As always, warranty is void if you root your phone. No one is responsible if the user bricks the phone, someone shouts, internet package gets over, if you did'nt get night sleep. Flashing and DIY on your smartphones does'nt work on assumption so please follow the steps properly. I do not take any credits accept linking information here. All credits to XDA developers forum and the source developers. 1. Your battery should be atleast 80% charged before rooting process. 2. Your handset should be detected properly via KIES (if not already installed). 3. Extract Odin and put them on the desktop 4. Switch off and restart the handset by Power+Vol DWN+Home continously till the Samsung logo remains. 5. Connect your phone via USB cable. 6. Open Odin Click on PDA tab and select the recovery image for flashing 7. Hit start to initiate the process 8. Recovery will be installed on the phone now. 9. Switch off and again switch on with the above button combination to get into the recovery mode. 10. Extract the rooting files on desktop 11. Connect the phone via USB. 12. Double click the runme.bat file and rooting will start 13. Reboot from recovery mode. 14. Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus smartphone is now rooted. 1 pointi disagree: its only 'cheating' if the operator does not notify you in advance for exsiting subscribers or at the time of purchase of any pack for new users each operator should have the right to charge more during peak days to help reduce congestion or they should stop offering any sms pack below cost let the free market determine the choice of customers i'm even against the arbitrary limit of 5 days / year again mkt forces should let anyone decide on any number of blackout days competition will prevent any single operator from having excessive blackouts nowhere else in the civilised world does any regulator set mobile tariffs not even china! transparency must be maintained to avoid any hidden charges / fees

1 pointOnly now S-III got its correct price, imho... Anyway Sammy has got enough profit from early adopters... Now let us hope they will reduce the price of S-II to level of OG S and OG Note to S-II level (and eventually stop OG S)...
-
1 pointSamsung has officially reduced MRP of Galaxy S3 from Rs 38,900 to Rs 34,900 in India. So normal street/online price should NOW be in the range of Rs 32.5-33.5K.

1 pointInstall Titanium backup Root connect to internet run the app go to backup/restore tab scroll down gradually find apps you want to remove click that app from the list first make a backup of that app, the option is there when u ll click or touch the app once backup is made , uninstall that app please make sure to uninstall the unremovable apps only via TIBU , the apps which one can easily un install by going into settings > applications> should not be uninstalled using TIBU , my experience says the pgm gets stuck and u will have to reboot only. see ya Btw : howz the camera of epic touch as compared to fascinate i can feel the snaps in fascinate were more brighter and crispy , or i am missing any settings here.

1 pointIt does not mean that your sms pack will work on blackout days. Simple means that Suppose you are on a reliance simple 99 plan where sms to local numbers and std numbers is 50p. Suppose you have opted a Rs 64 pack that gives 2000 free Local + national sms free. Now what reliance does it that it charges Re 1 for local and Rs 1.5 for national sms on blackout days. But after this rule reliance will only be able to charge 50p per sms as that is a part of your base tariff.. Thats what I have interpreted, please correct me if I am wrong.

1 pointI am myself on the same setup and this works beautifully. My suggestion is everyone should move onto stock rooted FI03 now. Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2

1 pointKeymonk Keyboard v2.01 Requirements: Android 2.3+ Overview: Keymonk is the future of smartphone keyboards! Sweep words with both fingers twice as fast as Swype or SlideIT. Keymonk is the future of smartphone keyboards! Sweep words with both fingers twice as fast as Swype or SlideIT. Android Police: "A very interesting take on mobile input... give it a shot". El androide libre: "A keyboard revolution". The Guardian: "Is there room for another big third-party Android keyboard besides SwiftKey and Swype?". Available in English, Hebrew, Spanish, Italian, French and German. HOW TO USE A video is worth 10,000 words so check it out to see how Keymonk works. COMPATIBILITY Keymonk was tested on Galaxy S2 and should work on any smartphone with good multi-touch support. MULTITOUCH ISSUES Some devices, including high-end devices, have defective multi-touch support. If you see the Keymonk touch indication circles flicker or change colors while sweeping with both fingers, that may be an indication that your device does not support multi-touch well. Keep each finger at its side of the keyboard and avoid bumping them into one another since it might confuse the touch screen.
