In recent past, there has been brief bouts of discussion on RIMWeb about pollution, carbon footprints and global warming. Today it just stuck in my mind that there are so many electronic things which we buy, use and change even when useful life is left. For example, today I bought wireless KB + Mouse just to replace perfectly working keyboard and minor problem in mouse. Means if not mouse, atleast keyboard can be used by some one. New pair cost about 1800 bucks. Only keyboard may be costing about 1000 bucks and mouse alone may be the same. So I thought, what if I send or give it to some one who is about to buy new key board or may be he needs to buy keyboard. In any case I am not going to use it and it will be scrapped after some time. Hence I decided to post a thread where I will be sending this pair of Logitec pair of mouse and KB free. I will only charge for actual courier charges. Trusted Rimwebian may pay me once they get the stuff. Other people may pay me in advance. Also this thread is to be used for free give away without any obligations on either side. How To Bypass Country Restriction And Install Any India Region Locked App From Android Market On Your Imported CDMA Handset This is a problem faced by all imported CDMA handsets we are using in india. It's normally not possible to search, download and install apps from the google play store which are locked as india region specific. Examples are netbanking apps from indian banks and many other apps. Let's cure it. Requirement: Your handset needs to be rooted. Procedure: Download and install Android Market Enabler App attached with this post. Open the app, Tap on Set Custom Button. Erase the existing number appearing in gsm.sim.operator.numeric. box. ^ RW people don't know anything about A12Auth because its not the feature of the CRM software they are trained on. Why you initially see both 1x & EV signs because your RUIM is OMH and OMH RUIMs are capable of EVDO but the feature is not yet available on your #, thats why it drops to 1x (which is activated by default)..

successfully got 1x/EVDO (Reliance) configured on MTS MTag 3.1 after unlocking without rooting. Voice/Text worked fine with all CDMA Operators available in India (except Virgin, but after all its Docomo CDMA ) after unlock, but failed to get data.. Hotspot works great with Reliance too.. will test DATA with BSNL CDMA / Tata Docomo CDMA some other time..

I only use virtual credit card for play store purchases. Not comfortable with Credit Card Data stored on google servers. There have been reported instances of wrong/unauthorised deductions by some app developers. There is also no second layer of security like verified by visa/Mastercard Securecode where you have to enter a second PIN in play store as is the case in india for credit card payments online. As the virtual credit card is generated only in rupee & one time use only, i keep somewhat higher gap so transaction won't fail due to Dollar/Rupee Exchange Rate. For Example, i generated Rs 14 Virtual Credit Card for this current purchases. It's a bit cumbersome to enter virtual credit card data every time but offers complete peace of mind and safety.
