Pulsar 200NS is based on the baby Duke. Bajaj copied lots of tech from it as a bargain to launch KTM in india. But as they say original is original. and KTM is the original Austrian Bike. 30K is a very very small extra cost to get the KTM. My 2 friends have recently got it and already traveled to Yamnotri on it. It is a fantastic bike. @ Sujit - Go for Bajaj Discover 125ST. . @Pulkit. Duke and 200NS both are good choice. I prefer 200NS over Duke for few reasons. First - The difference in price, similar technology. Second - Pan India service support of Bajaj, also every mechanic on roadside is familiar with Pulsar series. Third - In your condition, its for daily commute for your bro. Not for serious pro biking I guess. Also invest in good riding gears like Helmet and gloves. For more user experience go to xbhp.com I think you can consider Hero Karizma ZMR too. My friend bought his 200NS three months earlier. Done with second service, returns 35kmpl after daily commute of 40-50 Km. Bike is good, stable, enjoyable only above 60km/h, Weak Horn.

It doesn't matter if u r rooted for getting OTA but if u r using a custom rom it will effect OTA.

Mukesh Ambani's RIL and Sistema Shyam (MTS) is not there in 2G spectrum auction! Today (19th Oct) was the last day to submit bid papers. Vodafone has submitted applications for 17 circles in 1800 MHz band, AirTel for around six circles, Videocon for 15 GSM and around 10 CDMA circles and Tata Teleservices for three circles where it lost its CDMA permits. A plethora of options will open with new players like Videocon bidding in CDMA sector in coming year. I don't know what will happen here at my place with Tata DoCoMo and Reliance yet to launch EVDO and MTS is the only option (GSM 3G options are not at all good here) Read today's ET article here.

So now final call is to be between KTM duke and Pulsar 200NS... i have dropped R15 and Honda from my wish list... Dheeraj ji i have read a lot of reviews about both ktm duke and pulsar 200.. And they both are going almost equal... so still not sure which one to go for... some votes to duke and some to pulsar... Planning to take a test ride again before making the final call.. and Ninja 650 Hot choice as always.. You always go for the beast.. i wish if i could get one in gift loll.. @ sujit_k every company claims mileage of 80+kmpl but they hardly give 60-70kmpl.. i will suggest u to go and test drive a few like dream yugga, discover or hayate.. and choose the one you feel is better in driving and handling...

well KD , its all about personal preference. i used photon 2 months back just for 5 days the build qulaity is impeccable, nothing can beat MOTO , no matter what. the screen resolution is great and the display quality is refreshing at least i found it very refreshing , the whites are so pure whites on it, compare it with epic touch and you ll know , I agree about the camera , and the pictures taken from it, but you need to do some tweaking , all i can say FASCINATES 5MP camera is way way superior than that of photon or epic touch , when u look at the snaps on the phone. the thing is all 8MP camera snaps will look lamish on screen if the native resolution isnt correspondingly good of the display. I feel epic touch' snaps are not that great looking either if looked upon in the phone. About MoPho , i can say the interface is so snappy despite being GB and , the blur interface is cool ( again for me ) only missed the drop down menu toggles , but i made up with switch pro and notification toggles app. everything about Photon is refreshing for me see real diff in screen can be notriced only on full brightnes, diff b/w epic T an photon being that on Epic T , the screen remains smooth and in Photon you can see very very fine dots but i love that matte finish ;P te photon doesnt leave the signals at all , whereas all other handsets lose the gsm or cdma signals so very often. Photon feels so freaking solid in hand, its octagonal desin is something attractive for me . the toughend screen , and gorilla glas makes it so awesome looking. all in all , it was my dream to own a Photon , coz its colors are so natural and so soothing unlike epic touch.

Hello, Few days ago on xda some users successfully SOFF there phone, and slapped HTC, for there crap bootloader unlocking, I tried it and its working. This will work on hboot 1.15 or even 1.19 latest OTA updated HBOOT. Main there on XDA, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1932914 Step by step guide :- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=32761598&postcount=107 Prerequirement :- HTCDev unlock OR a temp root method. Install TWRP 2.2.2.0 recovery. Actually it doesnt matter you are on which rom, but you need to be on sense rom any version stock rooted or unrooted. I tried with viper rom it works. This method needs ubuntu 12.0 or any other linux variant. 32 bit specifically. 64 bit need some packages(550mb) to run adb and fastboot. you can grab ubuntu and install it easily inside windows, and also unistall it later. In short how its works :- We will intensionally brick our phone so that we can go in QC mode by flashing defected block once its get bricked. We will flash old hboot 1.12 and then can do soff with lazy panda (as for now lazy panda only works with hboot 1.12) please follow the step by step instructions on the above thread, If anyone got stuck, I am here to Help Once you got hboot 1.12. you can run feedpanda. I was on viperrom 2.0.2, feedpanda gives me success. I run it from linux. No need to go 1.13. First, i tried from windows, but i got bricked. then i run evo4g lte unbricker. I got sucess on linux on 2.13 hurray. I can see feedpanda need hboot 1.12 and rooted, for linux. 100% tested i tried it two times and got sucess. I guide it not noob friendly though. But It can be achieved and there is always a risk you can bricked your ph permanently. Though its a rare case.

No mate , not possible , it aint got the chip to run . you can download fm apps which use data to stream fm stations , but nothing which can make the phone run a FM radio. I must sat having a FM radio on ur phone is always helpful , I am happy that my just bought PHOTON has a FM radio in it am loving the PHOTON

Well guyz Yours truly is riding on two boats now OFFICIALLY I have just acquired a Moto Photon ( again ) and using it on Vodafone Delhi GSM network btw am on 2.3.4 and as soon as i received i rooted it and deleted the updater apk;), debloated the Stock Roma bit , removed all sprint crap. and boy , i am happy again , loved the Photon the last time when i had used it , had to return for some forgettable reason , and couldnt forget The white of photon and the screen quality is just outstanding . will be making a separate thread about it soon .

Would suggest either Pulsar 200NS or KTM Duke 200, however will recommend Pulsar 200NS reasoning cost saving, comfort & little better economy. Both have similar engine. KTM is proven refined with performance and aesthetics. Pulsar 200NS is made by learning technology from KTM & beyond and is for sure better product in terms of comfort and daily riding. For those who are unable to get the region changed after multiple re-tries, you can try the following steps: * Enable Airplane mode * Go to Settings > Apps > All > "Google Play Store" or "Market" -> Clear Data * Open the app (see op) and set the custom value (make sure root permission is added) * Restart the phone * Go to Settings > Apps > All > "Google Play Store" or "Market" -> Clear Data * The custom value would have reset in the Market Enabler app, so change it again * Enable wifi * Sync Gmail * Open Market, should show the apps in rupees now. * Disable airplane mode I got it working on ICS 4.0.3 as well, so it should work but not a straight forward procedure.
