2 pointsSmartQ U7 is a 7-inch Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Tablet With A Built-in 35-Lumen DLP Projector Source SmartQ U7 With DLP Projector in-depth Review >> http://www.androidau...-review-129709/ SmartQ Website >> http://buy.smartqme....rtq-u7-u7h.html Here is one device that will surprise you - it comes from China, it is a 7-inch tablet, but what makes it unique is a built-in 35-lumen DLP projector. The device is called the SmartQ U7 and having the ability to project 50-inch movies from your tablet, definitely puts it instantly in our wishlist. All of that comes in two versions: an 8GB one for $319 (the SmartQ U7), and a 16GB version for $399 (the SmartQ U7H). What makes the two versions different is also the processor. The cheaper 8 gig one runs on a TI OMAP 4430, the same one Motorola used on the Droid RAZR, while the 16GB one features a TI OMAP 4460, the very same processor Samsung used on the Galaxy Nexus. Best of all, both tablets come with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on board, which should guarantee flaw-less performance. All the rest of the specs are pretty standard, and you can find them right below, but obviously the big focus is the projector. Having it built-in means that you get a slight hump on the back of the tablet. Interestingly enough, activating it is as easy as flipping a switch. You can also press a dedicated standby button while the projector is running and that would turn off the screen, but keep the projection active. Overall, you can expect around 4 hours of projection until the battery drains out, and that sounds solid. The only other similar device we can compare the SmartQ U7 with is the Samsung Galaxy Beam, a 4-inch phone with a 15-lumen built-in projector. The difference is definitely huge when you compare the brightness of the two. 35-lumen is far from ideal, but makes for a much more discernible image in semi-dark rooms. Spec Highlights: 7 inch, 1024 X 600 pixels capacitive touchscreen 35-lumen, 854×480 DLP projector 1GB RAM Micro SD card slot, up to 32GB Android 4.1 Jelly Bean HDMI output Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 4.0 2MP front, 2MP back camera 4,800mAh battery, lasts 4 hours for projection Dimensions: 200.3×116.2×11.0~14.4mm, 360g

1 pointiPhone 5, iPod touch screens unresponsive under rapid diagonal swipes, may be due to in-cell tech Source Users have begun reporting that rapid diagonal swipes of the iPhone 5 and iPod touch 5th generation can cause the screen to stop responding to touch input. Despite the fact that this is a rare and unusual swiping motion, it does raise concerns for developers and gamers. The behavior was noted by game developer CMA Megacorp in a post on Twitter and followed by a video from Recombu that displays the issue occurring on multiple devices including the iPhone 5, but not the iPhone 4S. Rene Ritchie at iMore tested several devices and found that the iPhone 5 and iPod touch 5th gen were the only ones that exhibited the problem, and that it was independent of whether they were running iOS 6.0.1 or other versions. Apple iPhone 5 Scrolling Glitch Demo VIDEO We’ve verified that the issue exists on our iPhone 5, which is running iOS 6.0.1. But, since the issue occurs on iOS 6.0 devices as well, it’s possible that this is due to Apple’s tweaks to make the iPad mini reject accidental thumb touches. But, since the input tweaks are likely in action on the iPhone 4 and 4S as well, it seems unlikely. But another common thread between these two devices is their touch screen hardware. Both of them use the brand new in-cell touch technology that combines the digitizer and touch panel and laminates them to the front glass. This is the first time years that the same exact screen has been in the newest iPod touch and newest iPhone at the same time, so it seems likely that whatever is causing the issues is due to the in-cell tech. The question at this point is whether the issue is caused by the way that iOS is reading the touch inputs from the screen or whether it’s due to the hardware itself. Obviously, software would be the best outcome, as it could then be corrected by Apple in a future release of iOS. The minor skipping or freezing issues on ultra-rapid swiping is not going to affect regular users much, if at all. For game developers, however, it definitely could be seen to be an issue. Some titles like Fruit Ninja, for instance, rely heavily on rapid diagonal swiping, and could end up frustrating users if the problem manifests itself badly enough. Apple’s iOS 6.0.1 update fixed a graphics glitch that many had been seeing which produced lines across the software’s keyboard. If this is a software issue as well, a similar fix could be incoming.

1 pointThere will be no difference in the call quality or the network quality. Whether you are a High ARPU / Low ARPU / Port-in /(Ported out and ) returning / Occasional customer, the signal strength at a particular location would be the same for all the sims.. Rest all depends mostly on the kind of handset you are using. Is there any specific network issue that you are facing at the moment ?

1 pointSoon, Buy Android Apps From Google Play in Indian Rupees (INR) Source Google has announced that it is introducing buyer’s currencies in India. All the paid apps sold in India will now carry prices in Indian Rupee (INR). Developers have until October 25, to set their paid app prices in INR, after that Google will automatically assign INR prices for paid apps every month based on the listing prices. What does this mean for normal Android users? Until now, in the absence of buyer’s currencies for India, Android users in the country were charged in the app developers’ currency while making a purchase from Google Play. Google used to show app priced in INR to give an idea about how much they are going to be charged on their credit card, but the final purchase was in app devs’ currency only. But, that is going to change from October 25, starting then, any purchase that you will be making from Google Play will charged in Indian rupees on your credit card. Not only this saves you from any foreign exchange conversion charges from your credit card provider and is also easier to keep track of. This will also likely to result in Indian related app promotions as devs will now have opportunity to set prices specifically for India. What does this mean for App developers? App developers will now be allowed to set prices for the Indian market in INR in Google Play dev console. This gives you the opportunity to set prices according to the market and also saves from any currency value fluctuations as you will now have a fixed price set for the Indian market. App developers have until October 25 to go to Google Play Developer Console and set prices for India, in case you are unable to do that, Google will automatically set the prices for you, based on the current listing price of your paid app and the prevailing exchange rate. These automated prices are changed every month to reflect the changed in currency conversion rate. We think the now that Google has enabled buyer’s currencies for India; it will also soon allow Indian app developers to sell paid apps in Google Play. We are waiting for that to happen and will let you know as and when it happens. Along with India, Google has also enabled buyer’s currencies in Russia. So the same thing applies to Russian users as well.
