It was in infibeam magic box deal of the day at Rs 585 and was available at that price when i posted. You guys are now late... Magic box quota seems over. It can be charged with any micro usb charger. One surprising trend i noticed is that something posted in this topic quickly sells out. First that Videocon 32" LCD and now this. There must be silent buyers who has focus only on the buy button! Fastest fingers first! Kaun Banega Deal Pati!

Bharti Airtel Shuts Network To SMSes From Subscribers of Aircel & Reliance Communications Source NEW DELHI: Sparks are flying ahead of Diwali in India's telecom market after the country's largest mobile phone company, Bharti Airtel, closed its network to incoming text messages from subscribers of two other operators, Aircel and Reliance Communications. Bharti Airtel executives said the company was forced to do this after the two companies started flooding its network with what they described as "free spam messages", a charge that has been vehemently denied by RCom and Aircel. "They (Aircel and RCom) are sending free SMS to our networks, which, in turn, is impacting the quality of service on our network and, therefore, the quality of service to our own customers," an Airtel spokesperson said. Aircel and RCom, in turn, allege that Airtel was resorting to pressure tactics just days before Diwali to force them to pay more towards SMS termination charges. Executives of the two companies also accused Airtel, founded by billionaire Sunil Mittal, of abusing its dominant position. "The timing of this step on the eve of Diwali reflects Bharti's blatant disregard for the interests of millions of customers and is another instance of abuse of market position by Bharti," an RCOM spokesperson said. RCom, the second-largest mobile phone operator by users offering services on both GSM and CDMA technology platforms, also slammed Bharti for "unilaterally taking this coercive action on an issue that was sub judice before Supreme Court and was also under consideration by sector regulator Trai". But, an executive close to Airtel defended the company's move saying "allowing any misuse of our (Airtel's) network would compromise the quality of service for our own customers during the festival season". Companies may take dispute to court "Bharti Airtel has asked us to sign a bilateral interconnect agreement, which says 10 paise per SMS will be charged to a non-Airtel customer. We are resisting this as the cost for our customers would go up significantly," the Aircel spokesperson said. The two companies may take the matter to court this week. The issue dates back to November 2011, when Airtel demanded that Aircel, which is majority-owned by Malaysia's Maxis, pay 10 paise for every text message terminating on its network. Subsequently, Airtel raised a bill of about 25 crore for the period from April to October 2011. In January, Airtel sent a notice asking Aircel to pay the amount by the end of that month. Aircel approached the telecom tribunal (TDSAT) claiming that the dues claimed by Airtel were "arbitrary, illegal, wrong, unilateral and without any basis". But, in September, the telecom tribunal ruled in favour of Airtel. Aircel has challenged the verdict in the Supreme Court.

leaving mobile device charging for 3 hours can not be said as unattended. One cannot sit infront of the device while charging for whole time. second important point is mobile is defective.Charging regulatory circuit is not working or overcharge protection circuit is not working. I rememer when my LG RD 2030 used to plug in to power socket in the night 11pm and remove next day morning 6am.And the mobile worked for 4 years with same battery. Any way enjoy your new mobile !

Source: Google Nexus 7 combusts & melts down while left for charging Many of us out there leave our mobiles and tablets unattended while putting them to charge but it seems that we should stop doing so as when we return back to our devices, they might turn out to look as below. What you are seeing above is a melted down Google Nexus 7 built by ASUS which was left for charging and when the owner of the tablet returned after a good three hours, she found the 7-inch Nexus in the not-so-good-shape. The reason behind the combustion is unknown but the owner of the tablet alleges that she was using the factory OEM charger to charge the device and when she returned, the room was full of smoke and the Nexus 7 had melted-down. Previously, we have seen cases wherein the owners of the devices which have self-combusted were at foul in the Galaxy S III smartphone which was actually microwaved to dry it off but in this case, there seems to be no foul-play and ASUS has reportedly already despatched a brand new replacement to the owner. We are not saying that this could happen with all devices but the next time you charge your gadget, try not to leave it unattended.

Kasab down with dengue, mosquito hailed! Source Despondent Correspondent MUMBAI: Biryani-loving Pakistani terrorist Ajmal Kasab is said to be suffering from high-grade fever after being allegedly bitten by a mosquito. Sources say an inquiry has been ordered into how the mosquito managed to infiltrate the high-security prison. However, the actions of the brave Aedes mosquito are being hailed all over the country. "Perhaps this mosquito may have done what the Indian government and judicial system have failed to do," an elated Mumbai resident said. Some citizens wanted to arrange a felicitation ceremony for the brave mosquito but the mosquito is not answering his phone. Others were concerned for its health considering the quality of blood it may have ingested. The Maharashtra government has announced a reward of Rs 50 lakh for the mosquito along with a flat in Adarsh building and a plot of "farming land" in Pune. The railways is ready to provide it a job. The Pakistani terrorist is currently lodged in a bomb-proof, egg-shaped cell at the jail since his arrest. His prison may even have inspired Lady Gaga's performance of "Born this way", an expert said. Unfortunately, the mosquito itself is incommunicado. Jail sources say his brazen attack took everyone by surprise and it could even have been a fidayeen. "It was a precision air strike. Before we could even react, the mosquito had carried out the sting operation and all we got was a vigorously scratching Kasab." "Well, to itch his own," a jailer added. Some of the guards pretended to kill the insect but sources said they were just clapping. Meanwhile, Pakistan has condemned this heinous act and demanded New Delhi take strict action against the outfit behind it. Islamabad summoned the Indian envoy to issue a demarche and is even willing to hand over Dawood Ibrahim in exchange for the mosquito.

By "verification password" are you referring to the Credit Card's security password (SecureCode)? Many international online payment gateways do not require that and can process payments without SecureCode. It was made mandatory by RBI only for e-commerce merchants in India and Google Checkout is not based in India. You can enable “Use PIN for purchases" option in Google Play Store app's Settings to prevent that in future.
