Got this phone. Initial impressions not good - Weak signal reception (at same place where other reliance 5 year old LG hanset getting 100% signal, this handset shows 50% many times), huge signal fluctuations (just after calling it gets to 0% and then fluctuates widely), getting heated up very very quickly (in 5-6 minutes of talk only one can feel heat in ear. SAR mentioned is .707), weak speaker due to which the ringtone is very low, plastic build quality (the battery door is very very hard to take out, and it gets loose after 2-3 open-close and looks prone to cracking soon:( ) Would give detailed feedback after more use. So current advise - not recommended. And yes, RAM size is 401 MB only as reported by @nshram. Don't know how it was mentioned as 512MB in the phone pamphlet uploaded by Preveen in first post. The internal memory available for user is 148 MB while the phone comes with 4 GB class 4 micro SD card.

The popular browser add-on Adblock Plus, used for blocking online advertising, is now available for Android devices. The open-source project released the first version of its Android app on November 27. The free app is available on Google Play for free as a 1.8MB download. Users without access to Google PLay on their Android devices can download it from the AdBlock Plus for Android website. AdBlock Plus "works in background and filters out ads in almost all Android browsers and apps. Android 2.1 and higher is supported, the app uses the same filter lists as the Adblock Plus browser extensions," says a post on the AdBlock Plus blog.

iPhone 5, iPod touch screens unresponsive under rapid diagonal swipes, may be due to in-cell tech Source Users have begun reporting that rapid diagonal swipes of the iPhone 5 and iPod touch 5th generation can cause the screen to stop responding to touch input. Despite the fact that this is a rare and unusual swiping motion, it does raise concerns for developers and gamers. The behavior was noted by game developer CMA Megacorp in a post on Twitter and followed by a video from Recombu that displays the issue occurring on multiple devices including the iPhone 5, but not the iPhone 4S. Rene Ritchie at iMore tested several devices and found that the iPhone 5 and iPod touch 5th gen were the only ones that exhibited the problem, and that it was independent of whether they were running iOS 6.0.1 or other versions. Some titles like Fruit Ninja, for instance, rely heavily on rapid diagonal swiping, and could end up frustrating users if the problem manifests itself badly enough. Apple’s iOS 6.0.1 update fixed a graphics glitch that many had been seeing which produced lines across the software’s keyboard. If this is a software issue as well, a similar fix could be incoming.
