1 pointThe family is growing: Nokia Lumia 620 Published by Ian Delaney on December 5, 2012 Source Today we’re pleased to introduce the Nokia Lumia 620, our third and most affordable Windows Phone 8 smartphone. Nokia Lumia 620 Networks: WCDMA 850/900/1900/2100 GSM/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 Display: 3.8” TFT WVGA 800×480, ClearBlack Memory: 512MB RAM (8GB internal memory, Micro SD support up to 64GB) Camera: 5Mpix autofocus, LED flash; Video capture: HD 720p@30fps; VGA front camera Size & weight: 115.4 x 61.1 x 11.02 mm; 127g (including battery) Connectivity: NFC, WLAN 802.11 a/b/g/n 2.4Ghz + 5Ghz, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS/A-GPS, Glonass, micro-USB, 3.5mm audio connector (AHJ + WP Controls) Processor: 1 GHz Dual Core Snapdragon ™ S4 Battery Talk time: (GSM/WCDMA) Up to 14.6 h/ up to 9.9 h; Standby time: Up to 330 h Alongside the flagship Nokia Lumia 920and midrange Nokia Lumia 820, the Nokia Lumia 620 adds more youthful appeal to our Windows Phone 8 range. Compact and fun, it takes advantage of a new ‘dual-shot’ technique to create a variety of interesting new colours and textures. Dual Shot involves casting two layers of polycarbonate, a single base layer and a second colour, in a transparent or translucent layer, to produce depth effects and secondary colour blends. For example, yellow and cyan are combined to produce an exciting new lime green, our own favourite. What’s more, since the Nokia Lumia 620 uses exchangeable shells, you can change the colour as often as you change your mood with seven shells to choose from. While this may be the most affordable of our three new Windows Phone 8 smartphones, it packs a punch. The 3.8-inch display has the same sunlight readability enhancements as the Nokia Lumia 920 and Nokia Lumia 820, so you should be able to see what’s on the screen however sunny your surroundings (not a problem for those of us in Finland right now). It also takes advantage of the sameNokia exclusive camera lenses, like Cinemagraph and Smart Shoot, transforming the creative power of the 5-megapixel camera and front-facing VGA camera. Of course it also has the world’s best mapping and location experience, based on the Here platform, with Nokia Maps, Nokia Drive and Nokia City Lens all available. Of course, with the emphasis on a younger audience, it also has Nokia Music, providing free streaming of ad-free tracks with no subscription or registration required and the ability to download playlists to listen offline. With NFC connectivity, you can easily pair the Nokia Lumia 620 with one of the greatspeakers from JBL, such as the JBL PlayUp Portable for Nokia, to set your music free. Or if you want to avoid upsetting everyone on the bus, try the Nokia Purity Pro Stereo Headset by Monster for professional audio sounds on the move. Finally, this is Windows Phone 8, so the Nokia Lumia 620 comes with Live Tiles for updates direct to the Start Screen, PeopleHub for all your address books in one place and a Me Tile to make it easy to post and track notifications across social networks. With Xbox Live, Microsoft Office, 7GB of SkyDrive storage and faster, safer surfing with Internet Explorer 10, it’s hard to know what to do first. You might want to start with Angry Birds Star Wars or Words with Friends – just a suggestion. Excluding any local taxes or operator subsidies, the Nokia Lumia 620will cost around $249 USD and will be available from Q1 2013.

1 pointGetting really good speeds on Reliance 3G since few days. Maybe because of less customers ? Though I don't get more than 2 MBPS with the same sim on tablet/phone, but just installed huawei em770w inside my thinkpad x220 tablet (needs a bios patch as lenovo only allows whitelisted network devices) and i am getting 5-6 MBPS everyday. Even when this huawei minipci card was in a netbook it was not giving more than 2 MBPS. Either speeds have improved or there's some link with CPU speeds (as x220 has i5 vpro with 8gb ram). BTW, huawei data card drivers conflict with Connectify - specially on 64bit OS - so if you are using huawei & connectify then uninstall either one. Took me 2 days to find this out. Kept getting BSD in windows 8 while the device worked perfectly in linux & win7pro32bit. Then found some topics on this on sevenforums.

1 pointYes Lastpass is best login records manager. Since I use my laptop only operated solely I have enabled autologin option on most sites. Lastpass can also billpay, ccavenue, billdesk payment gateway credentials. When we change login information everytime in future, make sure we change it in Lastpass at the same time or when its autologin enabled it will use up old password and block the username. Lastpass is a boon for strictly personal computing. Evoing on Reliance using Tapatalk

1 pointHi Guys.. Unconfirmed reports here in Bangalore say that calls from CDMA Postpaid FWP to Prepaid GSM are to be treated as Onnet Calls. Anyways, this seems true for now, will only get the final picture after RGSM launch. There were always fears among existing Rcomm users like: 1) What if such calls are not treated as Onnet? 2) Whats the benefit for RComm Customers adding few more RGSM connections, when Onnet/CUG fails with several exisitng connections? Hoping that they will soon extend this to CDMA Mobiles.. & also take care of other such concerns. (Reason for edit - changed Confirmed to 'Unconfirmed' reports)

1 point^^^ Interesting mail reply.. Will need to re-confirm this. But the way, the mail was typed out (full of punctuation/grammatical errors) by the nodal officer wasn't very impressive. Are they too a bunch of jokers, just like these CC guys ?
