6 pointsAssuming that you're a serious player and not floating any empty baloons... 100% of the buyers who can do MEID registration, programming/flashing/data config on their own already know the sources/have the expertise to procure/import any make/model Bad ESN handsets directly from US at a much lower price then the price you can ever offer... (Because your price will always include your profit margin which they can avoid) So why they will ever buy from you? Rest of the buyers will always prefer a fully configured/flashed/working handset on indian CDMA carrier. Unless you can provide that, don't expect any of them to buy from you. The takeaway is that for imported CDMA handsets, there is only a chance if you know the entire part and still provide it at a competitive price. If you're not aware/competent/capable of the MEID registration, programming/flashing/data config, it's advisable to stick to GSM unlocked handsets.

3 pointsDoes any Indian really can be corruption free, where from childhood we have been taught to give bribe to one or other person or deity for jobs? We need to do lots of introspection, Anna just like gandhiji could not gather courage to face reality that TO BRING CHANGE IN SOCIETY GETTING INTO POLITICS IS MUST and getting into politics means loosing title of MAHATMA.

2 pointsSamsung Site & Support : http://www.samsung.c.../SPH-L900ZWASPR User Guide : http://downloadcente...uide_LJ1_F5.pdf Engadget Review : http://www.engadget....note-ii-review/ Note II GSM India site : http://www.samsung.com/in/consumer/mobile-phone/mobile-phone/smartphone/GT-N7100TADINU The Ultimate NEXT BIG THING in hand Stock Photos : Initial Observations : 1. Though it is a big device, it is very easy to hold in hand and use as a phone. I was pleasantly surprised by this fact. 2. Build quality is Samsung's patented plastic which has exceptional durability and scratch resistance; Feels solid in hand. 3. 5.5" Super AMOLED Plus screen is brilliant but colours slightly under-saturated than my Epic Touch (S2). It is BGR technology having least pixelisation that I have seen in any phone. 4. The sound quality is just brilliant, the best I have seen yet on any phone. 5. The 8MP camera is again brilliant. Front Camera is 1.9 MP. 6. It is on 4.1.1 (Jellybean) and as a existing S2 owner, I had no issues transitioning to this device. If anything the level of customisations is now miles ahead. 7. Special software enhancements exists for One hand handling. 8. GPS locking is without any error and very very fast unlike S2 which has issues on stock rom. 9. 16GB in built memory + option to add upto 64GB micro sd card. 10. NO dedicated camera button. 11. Notification light is now present in Note 2 unlike Note 1. 12. Humongous 3100mah battery and battery life seems double than my S2 upto now. Should last 2 days for normal usage. 13. The highly glossy battery cover and all plastics are of the highest quality only attainable by Samsung. 14. Brilliant S-Pen, features of which I am still discovering. What I don't like: 1. I am getting "Activation not completed" message in notification bar and it tries to Activate on each restart. Minor irritant. 2. Under saturation of colours (in some photos). Videos just look unbelievable. 3. No flip case in box (cost cutting nowadays?). Have to buy separately. Original (with NFC) is 1600/-; Chinese (without NFC) is 500 bucks. 4. No kickstand. Even with these, it is now the MOST DESIRABLE SMARTPHONE in the world at the moment. It's sales numbers are proof of that because every second person I meet is carrying a Note 2, so a bit disappointed by lack of exclusivity. Now for some PHOTOS: The Box The Box opened in multi layers The Box's total contents. Notice the white charger, USB cable and headset. The Front and the Back Feel In hand Close up Shots of the Camera and sides The Back cover opened and the humungous 3100mAH Battery. The Back cover has NFC contacts and also supports cordless charging. The S-Pen Video's and the Screen is just brilliant Size compared with Epic Touch 4G (S2)

2 pointsIt has nothing to do with population, trust me. It is a mindset which unfortunately has set into the Indian psyche right from childhood. Otherwise, by that logic, each and every one of us should be corrupt. So what persuades one person from accepting a bribe / being corrupt and another from being free from those vices? Regarding empty stomachs causing people to be corrupt, nothing can be further from the truth. Many a poor person continues to sustain his family through an honest days labour rather than succumb to the easy path out. Most of us prefer the easier way out rather than the harder right. People dont mind jumping red lights, drunken driving etc fully secure in the feeling that a 500 rupee note would extract them from any "unpleasant" situation. When people are "willing" to pay, it is really difficult for the receiver to stand up and say no. After all, the argument would be, "I dont stand to gain anything even if I dont accept that bribe. Even if I do manage to make that person pay a fine/penalty, the same money is going to line some other leader's pocket. I might as well utilise it for my own personal benefit." Another problem which is unique to India is that corruption knows no classes. Right from the top most leadership to the lower most clerk, every person seems to have a price. Other countries like China have ensured that only their leadership is corrupt which, even though not desirable, still allows companies to deal with just a certain set of people and know that their work would be done. In India, however, companies fear to tread since they are not even sure of how much would be the "facilitation fees" for any work to be undertaken. The only way corruption can actually be weeded out is by ensuring that we ourselves do not add to the corrupt practices. How many of us are willing to stand in the queue or wait an extra hour so that our work can be done. Most prefer to grease the palm of the person controlling affairs so that "we" are not inconvenienced. The "we" includes many of the internet elite, who again turn up hordes to show support to Anna Hazare and co when they go on anti-corruption drives. How conveniently ironic. Let us all take a pledge to not take a bribe nor give one ourselves. If we can spread this movement, corruption would die a slow but sure death. Nothing else can work Regards Rahul

2 pointsCorruption stems from over-population which leads to empty stomachs, which in turn leads to difference in classes, which in turn leads to people with power and 100 times more without, which leads to lack of resources, which eventually cycles back to lead to corruption. So root cause is our over-population. Kill half of it and corruption will disappear overnight. Till then there is NO solution. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note II CDMA

1 pointLike Sir Genius quoted. There is NO fixed selling price. Everything depends upon condition of the phone and services provided by the seller like MEID registration, EVDO / Data activation etc. Most buyers like these services to be provided by the seller. 1 pointIndiatimes is the only shopping website where I had to throw the product after various complaints of getting a defective product. No CC, no defective product change, no refund. I have had minor problems with 1-2 other websites but after posting on their FB, Twitter, the issue was resolved. But not so with Indiatimes.com, will never buy anything from them even if they sell the products at half price. My experience: I ordered a photo-frame With clock and 4 frames on 29th October. I bought it thinking that either I will use it or gift it someone on Diwali. I received it on 3rd November. I saw 2 glasses were broken. So I raised the issue with CC and they assured that they will get it picked up for replacement. After many reminders, it was not picked up. So, on 19th November, I thought of getting 2 pieces of broken glasses from the market and start using it. When I started to remove the lamination, everything came out in bits and pieces in my hand as if it is lying in junkyard for years and this lamination has kept it intact in one piece. Please see the pictures. I again sent the pictures to Indiatimes.com and requested them for refund/replacement but did not get any reply. I also posted on their FB and Twitter but no response. Finally, I threw that photo-frame unnecessarily occupying space in my home. That day, I committed myself not to buy anything from indiatimes.com again. They are so keen to dump their garbage to the customers.

1 pointJust saw and bought this great new Launcher... Details: HERE Play Link: Action Launcher PRO... Move over, Apex and Nova, there is a new Action Launcher for Android in town We can never get tired of Android launchers, and days when we have brand new kids on the block are always exciting. Friday was one such day, as a brand spanking new idea appeared in the Play Store ready to be taken for a spin. The Action Launcher is done by Chris Lacy, the creator of Tweet Lanes, which is a merit alone, and introduces something the developer calls Covers, essentially souped-up folders. You tap the Contacts folder once, for instance, and the app gets launched, tap twice, and your favorite contacts appear, simple idea with a lot of practical applications like this one. The way it works in practice is a bit hit-or-miss, and the dev admits there's still work to be done with Covers. The other interesting addition is that the app drawer can be called by swiping your finger from the side of the screen, instead of delving into endless pages with app grids. Action Launcher is $3.99, and you can take it for a spin from the source link below. The great thing is that if you are using another launcher, like Apex or Nova, your homescreen layout will be kept intact and transferred to Action Launcher, so you won't have to rearrange things again.

1 pointThere is a lot of complication in Motorla SBF flashing if u r on unlocked bootloader coz moto is pretty stubborn about it. Y dont u stay with an unlocked bootloader if u dont have to claim warranty for some issue in the phone. You can move back to a complete stock rom expience via some ROM which are available on xda.

1 pointThought of sharing this cool facility of INdian Railways Indian railways has launched this wonderful facility of locating and tracking your train through Google Maps called http://railradar.trainenquiry.com/ This is for those who want to keep a more accurate check on where exactly is their train travelling. Indian Railways has just launched RailRadar which uses Google Maps to track trains in real time. It also provides latest status of the train you are searching for. On the left of the screen is the option to search for trains. Click on it and type in the train number or name and it will show you exactly where the train is at the point as well as its present running status. delay etc. And if it’s not running that will also be shown. Trains can also be located according to stations. The blue light indicates that the train is on time, red means it’s delayed. The maps also show the number of trains that are live on the chart, and the ratio of blue to red that is on time versus delayed trains, right on top. By clicking on a train, a small pop-up will appear showing what time the train started, where it currently is and the status of the train. Just happens to be one of the coolest things to have happened to the Indian Railways.

What with drastic interface change and a steep learning curve, it has turned every windows user into a student all over again! 1 pointHello Rimwebians, There is too much difference between rooting htc evo 4G (& others also) and 4 LTE Special Thanks to Parin and Hetal because they are currently selling these phones hence I have got an opportunity to post a new topic So lets move to our subject, For rooting you will need to do following things: Download following things: 1. DRIVERS 32bit 64bit 2. Rooting Files Link (Mirror) update drivers using driver files and then double-click on runme.bat. ROOTING Step 1. First, you will want to make sure USB debugging is checked ON under Settings->Developer options. Step 2. Connect your phone to PC and make sure USB connection is set to “Charge only”. Step 3. Make sure you have drivers installed for your Windows computer. Go into device manager and make sure you have “My HTC” or kind of “ADB” driver. Step 4. Your Evo 4G LTE will reboot about 3 times and will root. Step 5. Once rebooted after rooting, verify you have “SuperSU” app . Hence your phone is rooted!!!! How to Unroot your HTC EVO 4LTE Step 1. First, you will want to make sure USB debugging is checked ON under Settings->Developer options. Step 2. Connect your Evo 4G LTE to your computer and make sure USB connection is set to “Charge only”. Step 3. In bootloader menu you will notice that you have “TAMPERED” Step 4. Go into Settings->About Phone -> Software Information and find the software version, for ex: say 1.13.651.1. Go ahead and download the same version of RUU. Step 5. Make sure you have HTC Drivers installed, you should see “My HTC” or “Android ADB” in Device Manager. Step 6. Now simply run the RUU .exe file and dont run any softwares on your PC while this process! Step 7. Hence, your phone will be unrooted within 15-20 minutes. Step 8. After Unrooting reboot your phone in bootloader and you can see the LOCKED instead of TAMPERED Now you have successfully unrooted your phone! Special Thanks: Youtube link- XDA evohacks

1 pointbased on my experiance, am sharing this apart from the configuration of the handset, the following steps are followed by Reliance. i) MDN is to be mapped to the registered MEID - Automated system does this when no. is transferred to MEID registered handset. ii) Activation of EVDO on the MDN - If EVDO is not activated on the MDN, eventhough the handset is configured with HDR UN & Password, EVDO will not work. The Request has to be done for actiavation of EVDO with Reliance Customer Care / Reliance World / Reliance Mobile Store. A12Auth Flag checked by the backend. iii) After this, EVDO starts working, but in case of Handset Change, the process is a bit complex. new HDR UN & Password needs to be mapped manually with the MDN, for this reactivation needs to be done, because when the MDN got transferred to the new handset, everything except mapping of new HDR UN & Password is done by automated process. so , even after transferring the MDN to new device, OLD HDR UN & Password is mapped to the MDN & EVDO will not work on the new device with OLD MDN. Similarly, if the OLD device is sold to someone, EVDO will not work, evenafter A12Auth is there on the buyers' MDN, because OLD HDR U/N & Password will still mapped with your MDN. this is purely as per my experiance, as i have gone through all this complex processes for the activation of EVDO on my incredible, because earlier the EVDO was authorized on My OMH RUIM.. Gurus please correct me, if am wrong..
