Before being emotional fool and making suggestions to committee think about following and send suggestions 1. Any gender biased law means dividing society again. 2. How government is going to ensure quicker and scientific investigation of offense? 3. How government will ensure speedy trial? Trial Within 90 days are eye wash, domestic violence act 2005 state that trial should be concluded within 60 days and believe me none of trial till date is concluded in 60 days. 4. Human right violation occurs all around society, not only against women, and against child, men, women, and elders every one alike are you concerned about those violations? If not why? When children are dumped in school van too is violation of human right. 5. Can woman assault men sexuallly have your facts right before you decide to make suggestions. 6 how many of you are aware about consequences of proposed workplace protection act for women. 7. How many of you are aware about penalties of misuse of existing laws? Is there any punishment for misuse of existing laws? 8. Are all accused are indeed a culprit? If now what government is providing remedies for being false accused? 9. Are you guys aware that any woman can put you behind bars without having any proof against men and make you criminal in paper? I am not against any women because I am a person firmly beliving in women liberation but not at the cost of another section of society. I will suggest you to search for all above on gogle and decide your course of suggestions. Few point I suggest 1. Gender neutrality 2 punishment on false accusations 3 sever punishment on proved offense 4. Special courts for both sides. I in case accusations are proved wrong. I have reason to make these suggestions because I am one of the victim of poorly drafted laws of India, especially in favor of woman but not in favor of citizens of India.

It's great to share with you the 9th Anniversary of RIMweb.in as yet another eventful year has passed by. It has always seemed possible and today we are here celebrating an occasion close to our hearts! In 2012, we saw an upsurge in smartphone usage and popularity among our members thanks to Android. RIMweb.in would like to thank all its handset sellers for bringing a wide range of high end CDMA handsets for all members at the cheapest prices and for offerring a hassle free experience with activating both voice and data services on the Reliance CDMA network. The Reputed Seller Group members deserve a special mention for making the voice/data activation process much easier for everyone on their high end CDMA handsets which would have otherwise been a tough nut to crack on CDMA. Given the enormous growth and development of the smartphone & tablet market in 2012, we can expect some highly groundbreaking developments for high speed data services in 2013. It is shaping up to be the year of 4G / LTE in India according to the industry analysts. Reliance Industries' telecom subsidiary, Infotel Broadband, is expected to be game changer who is getting ready to unleash voice over data services when it launches high-end data services hopefully by the second half of 2013. Infotel Broadband is expected to shake up the telecom market in the same way as it did about a decade ago when it rolled out low-cost mobile services. We have now added a separate section for Infotel Broadband 4G LTE and will evolve it further according to the developments in the future. We would like to give a heads up that our Super Moderator Ashok Karkera is organizing a RIMweb Meet in Mumbai on the 6th of January, 2013. The date & place is tentative as of now; and you can keep in sync about the event in the forum topic and/or Facebook Group page: Keeping in sync with the latest happenings in the telecom & communications industry in India, RIMweb.in has always received commendable support from all you members! Not to forget, RIMweb.in is an unbiased independent / unofficial public discussion forum for the Reliance Mobile subscribers community and evolved later to support the entire Indian telecommunication industry. Today we can proudly say that the discussion forum has managed to help and support fellow members for all their queries, grievances and become a platform for sharing experiences in an efficient and effective manner. It has been a long plausible journey has left its marks on the Internet and in the hearts of many, individually. On behalf of all the members & moderators at RIMweb.in, we would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year - 2013 too! Time to bid AdiĆ³s to the year by and Congratulations once again to you, for the 9th Anniversary of the RIMweb Community! UPDATE : Considering the updates from most people, please find the venue and date and time : Date : 6th Jan 2013 (we have a few people from pan india attending) Location : Joggers Park (4:30 PM onwards) - and later we could just jump to the frankie guys outside for a quick bite Hello Rimwebians, It's been 5 long years since the 4th Rimweb meet - and that's a very very long time. I was a tad bit busy with life - and honestly - this is something that any of us could organize After a quick interest check on facebook, I thought I should organize yet another Rimweb meet - for all A meetup at a unique place this time - A place where we could discuss about upcoming mobile techonologies - show our latest gadgets around - and even buy/sell (trade products). We've organized such meets in orphanages and coffee shops in the past - This time I was wondering if it would be awesome to host it at a neutral location which could double up as a networking hotspot for techies and geeks. Cameras, Phones, Laptops, Tablets, Dongles, Headphones, bypassing passwords - whatever is your query - we'll try to add in a jump. Sadikk and Vishal Sheth have already expressed interest in the event. I was thinking of organizing it in One of the following places your thoughts : 1. Hanging Gardens / Kamala Nehru Park 2. Joggers park, Bandra 3. CCD Carter Road 4. Stolen Coffee Room, Navi Mumbai If you have any suggestions please let us know... If you wish to contact me about this event - please PM / text / facebook message me Notes : * This is free for all. * If the event is at a place where food is available - and the members decide to consume anything - please bear your own expenses * I travel by bike, from Navi Mumbai - so if any member needs a lift to the venue of the event - please let me know - If its on the way I can pick you up. Other members willing to car pool / share bikes - please confirm. * This is a networking and interacting platform - so if you want to show your talent - right from singing to a quick cartoon - you can surely add value ... anything that can be posted online will be uploaded * Most of the event would be recorded - and uploaded - pending the members consent - if anyone is uncomfortable with that idea - please let me know - I can blur the face I am thinking of organizing this in december on one of the Sundays. I had designed a free training module for the organization I am a part of - that looks very similar to this event check the attachment - though the rimweb meet and Eka Tektalks are very different - some of the points of discussion would be similar .. We cannot or have no right to find fault or blame the politicians, leaders or peoples representatives. It is we who have given the powers again and again knowingly how danger they are to the society and to what extent can they go to loot the country. They have left everything, morals first, fear of god or punishment under law.Because they know that indian law is teethless and they know loopholes infact they made the laws with loopholes so that they can escape the law. Despite that we elect same idiots again and again. We are putting the future of our nation in goons and rapists. Unless we change and think twice before electing a person nothing is going to change. When we put our nation in the hands of a politician, We should think such a way if we are putting the hands of our sister/ daughter in bride grooms hand at the time of marriage. Think how much we enquire about the person and think before getting our sister/ daughter to outsider. We hardly do that when we vote. We are easily carried away by liquor and money distributed by politician at the time of elections. This is not only in the case of illiterates. Also literates have indifferent attitude. They actually lost the hope in politics. They are thinking that who ever comes to power will get corrupt and do the same thing and no one is going to change the fate of nation, so why lose the money given at the time of elections. I know one incident when one of the elder person educated, of age 60 yrs who is known for his honesty and sincerity for more than 30 years, contested in panchayat elections in a village. From same village 25 year person, who did not even passed 10th standard, drunkard dont have the capacity to earn 100 rs also contested in the same elections and influenced the people with money and liquor and spent around 5 laks. And the people fell for money and liquor and he won.Other elder person spent money just for publicity in thousands and he lost the elections. This should change. we should develop the right attitude

Except for personal liberty and freedom, aren't we over reacting to this incident? Partially? As shadow mentioned, Life is life, be it innocent woman or innocent men on duty. Police men injured or dead is as important as any woman in question. Sexual assault is attack on liberty and it is outcome of social setup. Women can not be safe as long as she is wife or daughter or mother. She need to be given identity of her own as a person or individual.

5 - Removing bloatware Bloatware is the carrier bundled software that comes with stock ROMs. One of the uses of rooting is to be able to remove these apps. Install Titanium backup from the market (free). You can go to the backup/restore section and simply tap the file/app in question and hit uninstall. Before removing any system app be sure to check it will not impact. E.g. for Epic see this. Safe to remove apps are in XDA for most phones, check them first please. If you are not sure about uninstalling just hit freeze and the app will stop running but will still remain installed. 6 - Customizing bootanimations Android uses a sequence of .png files which are looped at certain frames per sec to create impression of animation. So anyone with animation knowledge can create custom bootanimation. Note custom bootanimations on Samsung Epic require custom kernel, because the stock ROM/kernel uses proprietary QMG file for boot animation. So if you are thinking of using a custom bootanimation ensure you are not on stock ROM. For Epic the bootanimation.zip is in /system/media and shutdown folder is in /system/media/video/shutdown. For some other phones the bootanimation.zip is in /data/local. Here are some good bootanimations for Epic. Here are some for Evo. Here and here are basic Reliance bootanimations. 7 - Tweaks Using Wifi proxy - here. Using Wifi adhoc - here. Battery saving - here.
