Quad Core Android Phone With 2 GB RAM, IPS HD Display For Rs 9,000 Source JiaYu Mobiles, a Chinese brand, plans to launch its phone in India, the company has told the Mobile Indian in a written communication. The company says it will open its Delhi office in March and launch three Android phones in entry level, dual core and quad core categories priced at Rs 3,000, Rs 8,000 and Rs 9,000 respectively. While the company has not shared details of the other two phones, it has sent us the specifications of the quad core phone that it plans to launch. The phone called JiaYu G4 will come with mouth-watering specifications like 1.2 GHz quad core CPU based on Mediatek MT6589 chipset coupled with 2 GB RAM. It has a 4.7 inch IPS panel with 1280x720 pixel resolution based high definition display. The phone also gets Gorilla Glass 2 which is the best in terms of screen protection against scratches and cracks. The Android 4.1 Jelly bean based JiaYu G4 also has a 13 megapixel camera with CMOS sensor and LED flash and HD recording. It also sports a 3 megapixel front facing camera. Even in terms of battery, the phone has a very large 3000 mAH battery which is one of the largest in any smartphone. The best part about the phone is its pricing which at Rs 9,000 will be hard to beat even by Indian brands. However the phones' success will depend on how fast JiaYu can set up a sales and support network in India.

It's great to share with you the 9th Anniversary of RIMweb.in as yet another eventful year has passed by. It has always seemed possible and today we are here celebrating an occasion close to our hearts! In 2012, we saw an upsurge in smartphone usage and popularity among our members thanks to Android. RIMweb.in would like to thank all its handset sellers for bringing a wide range of high end CDMA handsets for all members at the cheapest prices and for offerring a hassle free experience with activating both voice and data services on the Reliance CDMA network. The Reputed Seller Group members deserve a special mention for making the voice/data activation process much easier for everyone on their high end CDMA handsets which would have otherwise been a tough nut to crack on CDMA. Given the enormous growth and development of the smartphone & tablet market in 2012, we can expect some highly groundbreaking developments for high speed data services in 2013. It is shaping up to be the year of 4G / LTE in India according to the industry analysts. Reliance Industries' telecom subsidiary, Infotel Broadband, is expected to be game changer who is getting ready to unleash voice over data services when it launches high-end data services hopefully by the second half of 2013. Infotel Broadband is expected to shake up the telecom market in the same way as it did about a decade ago when it rolled out low-cost mobile services. We have now added a separate section for Infotel Broadband 4G LTE and will evolve it further according to the developments in the future. We would like to give a heads up that our Super Moderator Ashok Karkera is organizing a RIMweb Meet in Mumbai on the 6th of January, 2013. The date & place is tentative as of now; and you can keep in sync about the event in the forum topic and/or Facebook Group page: Keeping in sync with the latest happenings in the telecom & communications industry in India, RIMweb.in has always received commendable support from all you members! Not to forget, RIMweb.in is an unbiased independent / unofficial public discussion forum for the Reliance Mobile subscribers community and evolved later to support the entire Indian telecommunication industry. Today we can proudly say that the discussion forum has managed to help and support fellow members for all their queries, grievances and become a platform for sharing experiences in an efficient and effective manner. It has been a long plausible journey has left its marks on the Internet and in the hearts of many, individually. On behalf of all the members & moderators at RIMweb.in, we would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year - 2013 too! Time to bid AdiĆ³s to the year by and Congratulations once again to you, for the 9th Anniversary of the RIMweb Community! Keep brightness yo like 35 % Download spare parts no ads version fron market and make the animations and transistions faster. Download camera 360 and use that to take pics . Low light snaps will always look kinna subpar on phone screen . But I believe if yo u can transfer them to pc they should look great. I never found any issue with the display. The hardware is impeccable . Subway surfers used to play so smooth on it if I compare how it plays in s3. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2

I received my Photon today...Just wanted to share with everyone that I love the screen ..I was too much worried after reading this thread about the screen....As Joshm said somewhere in this thread the white is pure white and I am loving it... Once you put the brightness 100% you can see the pixels but dont worry its not what you may be imagining... Its actually looks like matte finish screen which again looks lovely so guys no worries about screen...rest things I will explore and share with everyone. For camera first impression is really bad... :-(
