1 point[CES 2013] ScotteVest Shows Off The Jacket Of The Future Source We have long speculated what the future will actually be like: flying cars, livable space stations, intergalactic travel will be the norm – you know, all that stuff. Alas, none of those things have quite come to fruition yet, and I doubt they will in my lifetime. What may actually become a thing that we can have, though, is wearable tech. And I'm not talking about smartwatches and the like. I'm talking about intelligent, sophisticated clothing. Kind of like this insane concept jacket that ScotteVest is showing off at CES: This is the TEC (Technology Enabled Clothing) Jacket 2.0. It has features that we've never seen before in a jacket (file that under "sentences that I never expected to write"), like built-in, flexible speakers and noise-cancelling microphones; onboard network-enhancing antennas, batteries, batteries, and more batteries; solar plates, and e-ink displays to output current stats. Hell, this thing even sports its own heating/cooling system that can keep you at the perfect temperature – give or take a degree. That's just pure insanity. And I want it. Right now. Unfortunately, this is just a concept. A way of saying, "hey, look what we can do." As such, there's no price, no release date, no availability info. Nothing. We can't even say for sure if this jacket will ever leave "concept status – but we can sure hope.

1 pointReliance Infotel to Use Russia’s SPIRIT DSP’s VVoIP Engine on LTE-TDD Network Pan India 4G spectrum winner Infotel Broadband Services Ltd, owned by Reliance Industries is reported to use a software platform made by Russian software maker SPIRIT DSP to offer voice and data on its upcoming LTE-TDD networks. Russian software maker SPIRIT (Software Products Integrated Research International Transfer) is going to provide a voice and video over IP (VVoIP) solutions to Infotel. As VoLTE ready handsets are yet to be launched, Reliance Infotel is forced to use purely software based solution. Founded in 1992 SPIRIT develops embedded software solutions for real-time voice and video communication over IP networks – voice and video engines which are used by several telecom operators, equipment manufacturers, software developers, web services and social networks serving over 1 billion users in more than 100 countries. SPIRIT’s cross-platform Mobile TeamSpirit engine (RCS-compliant videosoftfone) will deliver HD voice and video transmission as well as data on any devices running any operating system. As users worldwide are moving to use Skype, Viber or other free web calling services, operators are forced to bring such native applications of their own to add extra revenue on their sheet. Using operator over the top (OTT) Reliance will soon be offering quality alternative to Skype or Viber in LTE network which may be killer for existing 3G and partly 2G operators. It can be reminded that earlier Reliance informed about such an unique platform for simultaneous voice and data services and asked TRAI to give mobile numbers to test it in Jamnagar, Delhi and Mumbai. It is quite interesting that Mukesh Ambani headed Reliance Industries is appointing little known companies to its dream telecom project; for eg Samsung will provide LTE BTS, Infinera to provide OFC gears and VVoIP platform to be provided by SPIRIT. Advantages are going for RIL; they can bargain for best stuffs (read, more India centric) at cheapest price. ------------------------------------------ Interestingly we got the PR today !! -------------------------------------------- There are something happening inside RIL Infotel, one of my friend tweeted 'Reliance 4G testing in full swing' from Mumbai, though he did not share anything quoting not in the freedom to share anything. I guess Dec 28th may have some announcement from Infotel.

1 pointThanks arun bhai. it solved the problem In epic you have to do: ##3282# > Edit > Enter MSL (000000) Advance > Others> Multimedia RTSP Proxy & HTTP Proxy : 0.0.0.0 RTSP Port & HTTP Port: 0.0.0.0 Back to home screen.. Run Youtube.. and it will be just fine
-
1 pointI found this fix while fiddling with EPST yesterday and was about to post it today Here is the procedure to do that: Open EPST in your handset using ##3282# > Edit Mode > Enter MSL (should be 000000) Go to Advanced > RSTP/HTTP Setting Enter RSTP and HTTP proxy IP as: 0.0.0.0 (remove the sprint.com URLs) RSTP and HTTP proxy port as: 0 Go back and click Menu key > Commit Modifications (it may show No Changes but it did change and you can try checking again to confirm it has changed) Now YouTube should work fine with EVDO!
