I want to share the whole game of EVDO of TATA indicom in delhi and TATA docomo CDMA in other states. 1. They do not have any system to detect which network a customer is using. so, most of the times you will find vague decuctions happening in your phone. In prepaid vague deductions will happen with INR 10 per mb. which means 10 paisa for 10 kbs. 2. in postpaid if you use internet with same user id password still they wll map some useage in 1x and some usage in evdo. Any compaint if you have, they will give you copy book answer " the usage you have made is for evdo and plan is 1x so your main balane deducted". No resolution will be provided. 3. If you go for online recharge and selected option " deduct balance from your current account" , the amount will be deducted but no plan will be activated, claiming that in omh sim you cannot take 1x plan. Also they wll not return your money in any case. 4. now tell about plans. if you activate Rs. 12 plan for 500 mbs 3 days, send sms to 12524 "DP BAL" and confirm whether data is loaded for your phone or not, else they will deduct from main balance. Some times they load data after 3 hours and sometimes quickly. If data is already loaded than try using very small bit of internet, and check the balance again, sometimes they data loads but still plan not activates. The data balance will remain same and main balance will be deducted. When it is confirmed that now the data balance is getting deducted for your usage than you can start using your internet. 5. When under 100 mbs left in your data balance, anytime they can deduct your balance from main balance with no explaination. when you ask they will tell you that you have used EVDO. Where the truth is-they dont have any mechanism to track. Same thing some times called 1x and some times EVDO and deducts money without any resolution. 6.Some more great things---- in post paid these internet plans are auto newable, so if once you activate it, it will not get deactivated for long time inspite of again and again request to CC. and also send SMS for unsubscribe but still plan continues in the bill. If you are using post paid omh sim and activated INR 43 plan, for same usage of internet they will charge in the bill some usage as evdo, some as 1X, despite of plan taken you will end up paying lots of money for evdo, which is actually cannot determined what is EVDO usage and what is 1X, they themselves dont know it. 7. In prepaid, initially the data plans were auto renewable but now it is necessary to recharge everytime you need an internet pack. a. if you already subscribed with DP 12 and tonight your plan suppose to expire, If you recharge with DP 12 today, a strange thing you will notice ---- your previous DP 12 will be deactivated in the midnight and you will find your latest data of DP12 will also disappears. means if you do the same plan activation, you have to wait for previous plan to get deactivated, else your new recharge will also disappear with old one. b. When you recharging online if you are running one plan --- Like DP 12 of 500 mbs, now you want to go for DP 48. Your current session is running with DP 12 with a lot of mbs left. lets say you have used around 20 mbs in current session and during current session you subscribed to DP 48, Now what will happen?????? Your DP 12 will diappear as soon as you recharge with inr 48, they will charge your main balance for 20 MBs for current usage from main balance and your DP 48 wll be activated with next session. So you will end up losing INR 200 or more from main balance. In tata you can use evdo with normal 1X plan, but the above discussion proves that anytime they can consider any amount of data as EVDO, so you have to be very careful, while start using a plan (check the balance of data loaded or not), Check after small use whether main balance deducting or data blance deducting, Once you sure that data balance deducting use your plan upto 100 MBs remaining than anytime they can consider EVDO as a different product, although till 1500 to 100mbs they dont know that you are using evdo or 1x. Also never recharge with other plan with your internet session running by your tata mobile internet. Never recharge before the previous plan deactivated else they will deactivate the new plan also with old plan on old plan's deactivation date. All these i have written with own experience in TATA Delhi. I used user id as MOBILENUMER@omh.ttsl.in without any proxy. speeds are amazing but deduction policy is actually bull **** from TATA. There are N number of bugs in their system, but great thing is that all are affecting the users only, company have no loss. Reliance is providing evdo and 1x declared in same plan, its a bit certain than tata plans.

Am I missing something??? I didn't see any post about the announcement of HTC Butterfly S, the FIRST HTC high end phone of 2013 worth buying (with 3200mAh Li-Po battery and microSD slot) ======================================= HTC Butterfly S is official, packs HTC One's UltraPixel camera19 June, 2013 HTC has just made the Butterfly S official and it's a significant bump over the first Butterfly. The smartphone is powered by a 1.9GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 - the same as the one in the Samsung Galaxy S4 - and has 2GB of RAM. It's built around the same 5" display boasting full HD resolution and a pixel density of 440ppi. Internal storage is 16GB, and as is usually the case, HTC has teamed up with Dropbox to provide 25GB of free cloud storage for 2 years. MicroSD card support is available, too. At the back of the Butterfly S, there's the same UltraPixel camera as the HTC One. It packs a 1/3" BSI sensor size with a 2.0 micron pixel size and wide F/2.0 aperture. Since the smartphone is running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with the latest Sense UI 5 skin on top, there's HTC Zoe with HTC Share and Video highlights. HTC Butterfly S official photos Not much has changed in terms of visuals, and the Butterfly S looks more or less the same as its predecessor, safe for its thickness and different color variations - red, white, gray - and some details here and there. The most prominent of which is the metal ring surrounding the camera glass at the back. Measuring 144.5 x 70.5 x 10.6mm, the Butterfly S weighs 160 grams and is significantly thicker than before. That's because under the hood, there's a 3200mAh battery, a lot bigger than the original Butterfly's 2020mAh unit. Connectivity options are the usual for a high-end offering and include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, DLNA, NFC, GPS. The HTC Butterfly S is expected to debut in Taiwan for NT $22,900 (US $766) in July. The company's plans for a wider release at this point are still unclear. ====================================== SOURCE: HERE

Hello friends.. since last 10-12 days my SD card gets unexpectedly unmounted & whn i open the back cover sd card is still in slot. whn i reinsert it , it say " SD card blank or has unsupported filesystem" & whn i try to format it from mobile it say " External media in unknown state" i m using SANDISK ULTRA 16 gb (Class 10). tried diffrent sd cards. the result is the same. tried formatting (fat 32) but it is not helping. later had a chat wid ANKIT DALUKA & Nikme, both suggested its a hardware problem. last sat hd given the mobile for repair at 1 of the reputed repair shops in vadodara. they tried hands on it & later said the hardwear seems perfect. ics working perfect n etc. one thing i noticed was. whn sd card is inserted & ph rebooted, the ph gets stuck on white HTC screen. (most of the time since last 10-12 days ) i searched on google "htc incredible 2 sd card unexpectedly removed" & saw that may ppl faced the same issues. but could not find any sollution.. frnds plz help me out.

I have used Uniconnect for 18 days while I was in Europe last year. The service was very good, the cost very low. I used it only for incoming calls and for outgoing I used Matrix and when I got the bill, my wallet burst - around 25k. Since Matrix had already taken my credit card authorisation, there was nothing else to be done. Uniconnect was a prepaid one with full incoming free across Europe and UK. Matrix had incoming free only in UK, whereas Europe incoming was chargeable. This year again I used Uniconnect and Clay when I went to Malaysia and Singapore. The same story repeated - Uniconnect this time was postpaid with full incoming free across Malaysia and Singapore, the bill was a super measly Rs 20 only.... Yes, you read it right - only twenty rupees and that too for calling my Clay number once in Singapore. Clay was a super disaster like Matrix - they charged me rental plus access fees for free 30 minute per day calling to India (then how they call it free) and the total bills were for around Rs 10k. I contested the rentals and access fees and they waived the rentals for about 2k and I eventually paid up Rs 8k in all. These are my experiences. For me, Uniconnect was very good with superb services. No call drops anywhere. Only thing they did not provide was GPRS/3G facility which they claimed will cost a bomb and hence they refrained from providing. My sister used Matrix when she travelled to US for 20+ days, again pretty same disaster story - she was charged ard Rs 22k. She did not contest and she paid up, swearing never ever to touch Matrix again. She went this month to Thailand and she bought a local SIM there. Travellers/readers here may just read the above for guidance and information. They are free to take any provider. What may be food for me may be poison for someone else. Matrix and Clay may have been very bad for me, but for others, it may have been very good. Similarly Uniconnect also. BTW, the website address for Uniconnect is Uniconnect.in.
