As mentioned on the official website this upgrade will bring all the tweaks that most of the folks have injected in their Galaxy S3′s via 3rd party developers which include Multi view support, home screen security fixes, New looks and arrangements for the Gallery and Camera apps, the Paper artist app and last but not the least the Enhancements made for the SMS applications. If not plz follow this Link. Step1. Download the Latest MD4 file d2usc_R530UVXAMD4_2 from here. Check the MD5: c46549da625b889586e486a6ccfeec99 [ Most Important ] Step2. Store it in your Internal Storage of your phone. Step3. Unplug the USB cable. Switch off your Phone. Step4. Hold down the HOME + VOLUME UP buttons and press the POWER button for about 5 seconds to enter into Recovery Mode. Step5. It is very important first Backup your phone Using the Nandroid Backup from the Recovery. Step6. Wipe cache, Wipe Dalvik, Wipe System, and Hit Factory Reset. Wipe all four if you are in TWRP. If you are in CWM Recovery Wipe cache, Wipe Data/factory reset goto advance and Wipe Dalvik. Step7. Then Install ZIP from SDcard and select the file d2usc_R530UVXAMD4_2 which you download from Step1. Reboot System and stay away from the Phone for 10mins. It will take some time relax. Step8. After power ON, switched OFF and go back to Recovery again and Flash the DeBloater script using my previous post Here. Step9. Then Restore Data of MB1 from your Nandroid Backup by Just select only Data and reboot the system. Step10. Reboot and come back here to Thank Me Cheers...!!! Requirements ROM Toolbox Lite Root access to your phone. COMPLETE STOCK STATE ONLY. By doing this you may/maynot brick your phone, I take no responsibility if you brick your phone. Run Rom Toolbox Lite Select app manager, once the app manager finishes scanning, it will show majorities of the running processes. Look for System Update, click on it and select freeze. i made this guide from other tutorials from the valuable members here and other forums, im just trying to making it easier by my experiance, credits to the original posters and post members, thanks to them all over various forums and websites, this is the guide for iphone 4 cdma, locked to verizon or sprint, and let it work with reliance cdma, reliance prl file, (google will give u) Things u need, iphone 4 cdma jailbroken(mine was 6.0.1, existing reliance cdma number, NOTE: Only people with basic knowledge abt jailbreak and iphone can do all this, others pls find someone who can do all this for you> Step one: obtain MIN number of ur reliance number. from relaince webworld, (not an ec job they wont give it to customers usually) or if u can arrange a UIM based nokia cdma handset u will get the MIN number, google it for further details, Step two : after getting MIN , register ur iphone's MEID to reliance, costs around Rs 500, various members here are doing it, check for them, they will register ur MEID to relaince and they will give u AKEY number, Step three : Once u finish register the MEID and getting AKEY proceed to jailbreak the iphone and add commcentre and cricket carrier bundle from cydia, there r various cydia repo sourse u will get for adding the correct commcentre and cricket carrier bundle, repos like easyflashstudio and ............ repo, Step four : Swap your reliance cdma number to iphone, reliance mdn to iphone meid, this can be done through reliance webworld for free , they will ask for id card copy of ur existing reliance number, Step five : Manualy flash NAM. dial ##2539 enter AKEY number, then dial ##626 enter spc 000000, then enter ur existing reliance number(MDN), then enter MIN , done for now, Step six : this is a long and tricky process go to iphone jailbreaked filesystem, through softwares like ifunbox or iphonebrowser, go to settings>library>carrierbundle>iphone>cricket carrier bundle folder, cricket carrier bundle folder name may differ it myt be like cricket ftt bundle or cricket apleflahser bundle,(make sure its not cricket us folder its not cracked folder its just a default folder, we need patched folder) go to that folder and edit carrier.plist file, there is a string called key>PrlPushFlag</key> <false/> edit it as true. like key>PrlPushFlag</key> <true/> and save the file , now delete carrier.prl file rename reliance prl file to carrier.prl and paste it to same folder, restart phone, again goto settings>library>carrierbundle>iphone>cricket carrier bundle folder, find carrier.plist file which we edited earlier, re edit it, means like this, true to false >PrlPushFlag</key> <false/> save it, restart phone, done, now your phone will work with ur reliance number, do all the steps carefully, every folder and file part is so specific, google if u need any files, and note that by this method only text and call will work, no data 1x or 3g for data and 3g, there r many members here doing all those things u can contact them and they will guide u abt payment and all, happy unlocking guys,

Micromax accidentally reveals sensitive data of Canvas 4 pre-order customers Source It was one of the most hyped phone launch in the recent past. The Canvas 4 went up on pre-order without Micromax revealing the specs, price or even photos of the phone, yet over 10,000 people paid Rs 5,000 upfront to book a unit. But things went horribly wrong for a few when sensitive information including their email address, shipping address, phone number as well as Micromax account user name and password were leaked by the company. First reported by Gizmodo India, some customers who had pre-booked their Canvas 4 units received a mail from Micromax informing them that the balance Rs 13,000 was being charged on their credit card. However, some of them received a mail that had the same details of over 100 other customers. BGR India has a copy of that mail. What’s shocking is that not only did it have contact details of other users, it also had the user name and password of their Micromax accounts, which could enable anyone to change their order. One could effectively modify the order and change the shipping address. However, Micromax claims that it blocked access to the compromised accounts as soon as it came to know about the faux pas so nothing could be changed. “We have looked into these reports over the weekend, the incident is an unfortunate combination of system and human error on the last batch of the orders to be processed. However, we have blocked the access for any changes to be made into these accounts and have ensured that details could not be tampered by anyone to be misused,” a Micromax spokesperson told BGR India. Nevertheless, it is shocking how something like this can happen. It is one thing to be a brand aspiring to make it to the top and quite another to fulfil responsibilities that come with it.

Revised Buy-Sell Guideline Suggestion There are requests for changes in buy-sell guidelines due to some recent not so good experience from some newbie sellers. I thought of opening a fresh topic where we all can put our view forward and then Admin/Mods can take a final call. Background: As we all can see, recently there is increase in number of sellers who come on this forum ONLY for selling/making a quick buck/treating it as more of a BUSINESS. Getting a properly configured imported handset at a great price has been one of the unique attribute attached with this forum. This is enhanced by the fact that there is a reputed seller system where certain things are pre assured. Even for sellers who have not been in the reputed seller category, most of them are regular on the forum, contribute/help in various technical/other discussion. All this has resulted in most of the buyers attaching a much higher TRUST level to ANY sell topic here on this forum then others. Presumption from most buyers is always that every sell topic is good, buyer will get the items quickly, as described and with proper communication. Objective: The first objective of the forum is sharing of knowledge, help in technical matters. Buying/Selling though very important but is not THE primary thing for which the forum stands. It will be good if there are more reputed sellers but NEWBIES/Non Serious players who are here to make a fast buck/extra/side income can't be encouraged/allowed. Ofcourse if they are serious & continue with the forum, they will surely migrate to the next level in the long run. The system has to be designed as such. Regular Members who are selling occassionally OR single handsets (Upon changing/upgrading the handset) should face no difficulty/obstruction in posting their sell topics. (Ofcourse should comply with all rules) Proposed Changes in Buy-Sell Guidelines: Minimum number of posts for opening a sell topic for a single item should be 25 & Member since not less than 2 Month. (Applicable for All Members). If someone wants to open a sell topic with multiple items at a time, then the Minimum number of posts should be 100 & Member since not less than 6 Month. Someone wanting to sell multiple items but not having 100 posts but having 25 posts can post sell topics with a SINGLE item only, finish the transaction, receive the feedback & then open another topic for another item. No multiple ITEM sell post in the same topic to be allowed. All instances of sellers posting that he is having x phone/phones in stock for sell without actually giving complete details as per Buy-Sell guidelines should be strictly prohibited. Yesterday i had sent sms for porting code from my airtel mobile and today i received a call asking me why i wanted to shift from airtel. I told the guy that local calling rates were high and hence i was porting, he told me he will give me a scheme in which rs 1 will be deducted daily from my account and airtel to airtel=10 paise,airtel to others local=30 paise and std will be 50 paise. He said he will activate this on my number but it has not been activated so far, i will confirm once it has been done..
