Bought a XOLO 500S yesterday for 6400/- at a local shop instead of Galaxy S Duos for a friend. Build quality is mind blowing compared to Samsung at this cost. Pixel density is wow. No lag noticed after working for a hour from the 512MB RAM. Overall a great phone I would say, for the cost.

i made this guide from other tutorials from the valuable members here and other forums, im just trying to making it easier by my experiance, credits to the original posters and post members, thanks to them all over various forums and websites, this is the guide for iphone 4 cdma, locked to verizon or sprint, and let it work with reliance cdma, reliance prl file, (google will give u) Things u need, iphone 4 cdma jailbroken(mine was 6.0.1, existing reliance cdma number, NOTE: Only people with basic knowledge abt jailbreak and iphone can do all this, others pls find someone who can do all this for you> Step one: obtain MIN number of ur reliance number. from relaince webworld, (not an ec job they wont give it to customers usually) or if u can arrange a UIM based nokia cdma handset u will get the MIN number, google it for further details, Step two : after getting MIN , register ur iphone's MEID to reliance, costs around Rs 500, various members here are doing it, check for them, they will register ur MEID to relaince and they will give u AKEY number, Step three : Once u finish register the MEID and getting AKEY proceed to jailbreak the iphone and add commcentre and cricket carrier bundle from cydia, there r various cydia repo sourse u will get for adding the correct commcentre and cricket carrier bundle, repos like easyflashstudio and ............ repo, Step four : Swap your reliance cdma number to iphone, reliance mdn to iphone meid, this can be done through reliance webworld for free , they will ask for id card copy of ur existing reliance number, Step five : Manualy flash NAM. dial ##2539 enter AKEY number, then dial ##626 enter spc 000000, then enter ur existing reliance number(MDN), then enter MIN , done for now, Step six : this is a long and tricky process go to iphone jailbreaked filesystem, through softwares like ifunbox or iphonebrowser, go to settings>library>carrierbundle>iphone>cricket carrier bundle folder, cricket carrier bundle folder name may differ it myt be like cricket ftt bundle or cricket apleflahser bundle,(make sure its not cricket us folder its not cracked folder its just a default folder, we need patched folder) go to that folder and edit carrier.plist file, there is a string called key>PrlPushFlag</key> <false/> edit it as true. like key>PrlPushFlag</key> <true/> and save the file , now delete carrier.prl file rename reliance prl file to carrier.prl and paste it to same folder, restart phone, again goto settings>library>carrierbundle>iphone>cricket carrier bundle folder, find carrier.plist file which we edited earlier, re edit it, means like this, true to false >PrlPushFlag</key> <false/> save it, restart phone, done, now your phone will work with ur reliance number, do all the steps carefully, every folder and file part is so specific, google if u need any files, and note that by this method only text and call will work, no data 1x or 3g for data and 3g, there r many members here doing all those things u can contact them and they will guide u abt payment and all, happy unlocking guys,

Hi all, I'm currently using Uninor for my GSM number in AP circle, got Uninor for the great voice call rates, but growing more and more frustrated with network coverage recently and also there are no roaming plans - so I get huge decrease in balance even for weekend trips. Also, my data seems to be not working in roaming in Tamil Nadu (might be due to non-Uninor circle). Looking seriously to MNP to some other network now: Strictly prepaid - should be present in both AP & TN, presence in KA is a plus Good voice (both local and std, I generally use 3-months 1p/2s STVs on Uninor) and data plans (2G is sufficient) in home network and good STV for Roaming voice and if possible Roaming data Decent network coverage in Hyderabad and Chennai Please suggest network and/or plans/STVs. MNP to CDMA is also an option if the plans are very good. Thanks, Mekkie

There are plenty of JB roms out there , from amoung them i have chosen the JELLYBRO CM10 KANG , later on i will explain about the other options too. everything works great ( but then ocassional bugs here and there can be seen as these all are unofficial builds ) one imp thing is for JB to work great on fascinate the internal storage partition has been decreased to 500MB , this could be some sort of nuisance to guyz who use 100s of apps DOWNLOADS and INSTALLATION PART 1 - If you are already on any ICS or other MTD ROM that is THS builds, aokp or cm9 Here are the files needed [ STORE THEM ALL ON YOUR SD CARD ] 1.. Double click and Open ODIN ( your phone should show on a com port inside odin > click PDA > select the EH03 stock GB file that i have mentioed above 5.. Click Pit and select the atlas pit file mentioned above 6.. Hit start , the stock GB will be flashed > it will take ten minutes for the flash to finish, once completes , put the battery in 7.. Reboot phone > it will take another 10 or so minutes , once it boots shut it down 8.. remove battery > put phone in download mode again ( by holding vol down and inserting the data cable ) > and in PDA section flash the clockworkmod fixed for Cm9 file 9.. Once it completes > put the battery in > DONT restart phone > instaed push and hold volume UP and Volume Down and power button together and you will boot into a all new BLUE cwm recovery 11.. wipe DATA/factory reset > wipe cache partition > go to advanced > wipe dalvik cacahe 12.. Once done > Flash the Team hacksung ics build 15 mentioned above , ( which you have stored on ur SD card ) > if upon completion of ROM flash, your phone itself restarts and goes back to recovery again > dont panic > again wipe all three and flash the Rom again. wait for the rom flash to complete 13.. once Rom flash completes > reboot the phone > [ NOW YOU ARE ON ICS THS 1 ] shutdown > wipe cache > wipe dalvik > wipe data > and flash the JELLYBRO ROM mentioned at the top > flash the gapps file mentioned at the top > flash the ICS data fix PROFIT again btw : You cant hold me or RIMWEB responsible, If upon following any of the above steps YOUR PHONE bricks and becomes an expensive paperweight, or ghosts start to haunt you or anything bad happening to you.

I am having a classic 703 handset. When i switch on the handset, all the keypad lights up but the no display comes or the welcome music plays! Even if I put the phone to charge the same thing happens. What could be the reason?
