This phone is slightly better than Galaxy Ace Duos C+G in specs (Quad_A5 and NOT Quad_A7 like CanvasHD and other cheap phones) but they have priced it higher than GrandDuos, MegaDuos, S3, Note2, (though none are C+G) etc... May be they are thinking that Indian CDMA users have NIL choice and they have to come to HTC for higher end CDMA phones. Simply, they don't know about Rimweb.

Recently my friend bought a Gionee Dream D1 (for Rs 9500, used phone with 10 months warranty). What he showed to me, are OTA ads on drop-down menu from Chinese servers. Gionee offer OTA update features, and I guess they are just misusing the feature. How to stop getting this ads?

M$ should be proud of their spy Mr Flop Elop... He has done a pretty good job as being a Trojan Horse... He has removed Nokia's Pride, bright Future in the form of MeeGo, other Linux OS for S40 devices, stripped off LUXURY Vertu division, closed many factories & HO, gave pink slips to Symbian developers, and all other possible damages to make NOKIA a CHEAP BUY for M$ (even cheaper than SKYPE) and for comparison sake less than half the amount Google Paid for Motorola Mobility... But NOKIA should have been MAD to NOT feel fishy about the TrojanHorse and keep him till now and they are paying the price NOW... RIP NOKIA... RIP WP... Now HTC and Huawei should look for another OS as alternate to Android as even this tiny WP ship has almost become PRIVATE and NO SINGLE ROOM FOR THEM...
