@Dipan I don't think there are good indian warranty CDMA handset which will fulfill all your listed requirement in 5-6K. Since you already know the drill for importing a handset, would suggest Samsung Galaxy Axiom OR Samsung Stellar, preference being for axiom for better camera/NFC. Both has 1.2Ghz Dual Core Qualcomm Krait processor, 1GB RAM, 4" Display, android jelly bean & massive 2100 mAh battery. Both also works on OMH SIM with data so no MEID registration should be necessary. Don't think there is any other phone with specs similar/better to axiom you can get at below cost. Total cost including customs+shipping should be around Rs 7,000 for Axiom. iShop international is giving total quote of Rs 7,195 with item cost Rs 5,604, international shipping Rs 425 & Duty/Taxes/Fees Rs 1,166. May end up even cheaper on Shop&ship as ishop duty/taxes are high. Mint/excellent condition Axiom for US $ 89 on Ebay.com >> http://www.ebay.com/itm/MINT-Samsung-Galaxy-Axiom-SCH-R830-Silver-gray-U-S-Cellular-Smartphone-/181197931017?pt=Cell_Phones&hash=item2a303d0209 Good condition Samsung Stellar are available at even lower from $ 60 onwards on ebay.com.

Purchased a Razr HD Maxx for my dad a couple of months ago from another forum, so I would offer a few tips: 1. If you want to use it on Reliance, then you need to cut your SIM to a micro-SIM size. Some shops charge Rs. 30 for this. 2. Data works by default on Reliance - no need to do anything special. 3. In the settings, there is a "International" mode, switch to that for usage in India. 4. You will get an update to update the system from 9.16.x to 9.18.x. But before you do that, please get the phone bootloader unlocked and also get root. There are instructions on other forums to do that. 5. Lot of bloatware from Verizon on the phone. I will get rid of that for my dad in the near future if Motorola does not come out with a 4.3 update soon. 6. Smartactions is a great app on the phone. Make good use of it to get even better battery life. 7. There are some issues with WiFi. We had to change our WiFi router to 802.11g (from b/g) for this to work. All other devices in the house did not have issues. This WiFi issue has also been reported at various places.

Get Motorola xprt or DROID pro. Awesome battery and even awesome camera from my experience on xprt. U got to see pics to believe the camera clarity. I think it's one of the most under rated camera. Only thing is no warranty and budget may have to be increased just a tad if looking for new piece

Droid pro/xprt are good . I think you your self is having admiral. Its almost same as pro or xprt. Also around ur budget only . For warranty or dual SIM, u need to find Indian market handsets only.
