:D :P  I was about to answer your queries but your last statement made me think twice. If you have formed an opinion already then there isn't much to go from here. But I am sure others on our forum are much more kind. Which cdma handset has led you to this state by the way? Sent from my MB855 using Tapatalk 2

An easy way to enable diag is to use ##DMMODE#. Also i should suggest members not to Odin the i200 files on i200PP, the bootchain might be differ on both models and your phone might get bricked.

Reliance Jio Starts Deploying LTE Towers In NCR : http://m.lightreading.in/lightreadingindia/news-analysis/287077/reliance-jio-starts-deploying-lte-towers-ncr-sources?utm_source=referrence_article Gagandeep Sodhi| January 14, 2014| The much-awaited launch of Reliance Jio Infocomm is getting closer. The company has started deploying towers in the National Capital Region (NCR), according to reliable industry sources. "The testing phase is over now and Reliance Jio has started deploying Global Base Monopole towers in Noida and Greater Noida," said a well-placed industry source. Though the date of the launch is not known, it is no longer a secret that the company would launch operations in the metro cities of New Delhi and Mumbai. Reliance Jio Infocomm recently granted media preview of its services. (See: Reliance Jio Inches Closer To Launch.) This was corroborated by another well-placed industry source. "Yes, the towers have come up in Noida and Greater Noida and they belong to Reliance Jio. All the infrastructure deals have been closed and the company is gearing up for the launch of the services now." Reliance Jio had granted order for Li-ion telecom batteries for 10,000 Global Base Monopole (GBM) sites across the country. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk

But his main requirement is non-camera phone!!, if not for that reason he doesn't have to wait for some mysterious phone to be released, there are many choices within his budget.

I am not being sarcastic but your questions show that you have read very less in this forum.. I am trying to answer your questions here (fellow members: please add/update if I miss something) 1. Is it possible to use such phones in a different country Yes offcourse because ESN is being declared bad in originating country only in this case US. 2. If one can use it in a different country would that only apply to Global phones or any CDMA device Global phones means the phones, that could be used on both GSM as well as CDMA network, could be used either by unlocking the GSM or by registering the MEID with CDMA service provider. 3. Is it even possible to get the MEID registered with a CDMA carrier in India for such phones Yes 4. If its a Global phone with Bad ESN, can it be used for both CDMA and GSM or only GSM Yes both

BlackBerry, which is looking to offer its business oriented services on other platforms has taken another step in that direction. According to the BlackBerry's new CEO, John Chen, their popular BES services will be made available to Windows Phone OS users. This will be a great win for Microsoft as well, because it easily attracts Corporate entities which already running Windows based servers & PCs along with BlackBerry services for their mobile needs can easily adopt Windows Phone OS. 1 TB Seagate 2.5" portable HDD @4012/- COD, from Amazon.in (the price has now fallen to 3921/-) - http://www.amazon.in/Seagate-Expansion-Portable-External-Drive/dp/B009PJG3MQ/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1389450215&sr=1-1&keywords=1tb I am really satisfied with Amazon India. Packaging, Free Delivery by Bluedart, COD, Transparency with Tax paid Invoice. If they continue at this rate they will leave all online sellers behind. Also the size of the HDD is so small that it easily fits into my Jeans pocket. It's for my son's PS3 btw. Formatted it to Fat32, the only compatible format for PS3, by this 3rd party software as windows does not allow to format to Fat 32 for this size of hard disks - http://www.ridgecrop.demon.co.uk/index.htm?fat32format.htm

ASUS Announces The ZenFone Line In 4/5/6 Inch Variants, With Intel Guts / Funky Colors / Low Prices US $99 / 149 / 199 Unsubsidized Price respectively Source ASUS is breaking out its phone lineup at CES in a big way. The new "ZenFone" series is coming in 4-inch, 5-inch, and 6-inch versions to suit just about anybody, and each one of these new devices will be sold in a variety of metallic colors. Features and specs vary a bit between models, but the basic gist is that you pick your screen size and work up from there. All of them are aimed at price-conscious buyers. The ZenFone 4 is at the bottom of the spectrum, featuring a 4-inch LCD 840x400 screen. (Remember those?) It's powered by a 1.2Ghz Intel Atom Z2520 processor and comes with 1GB of RAM and a 5MP rear camera. The ZenFone 4 will be offered in a choice of five colors: Charcoal Black, Pearl White, Cherry Red, Sky Blue, and Solar Yellow. Storage isn't mentioned, but you can extend it with a MicroSD card, and the battery is a rather puny 1170mAh. Moving up the line, the ZenFone 5 has a 5-inch IPS screen with a full 720p resolution, and it's also got PenTouch and GloveTouch features for enhanced use with a stylus or gloved hand. Inside is a faster Intel Atom Z2520 running at 2GHz with the same 1GB of RAM, plus an 8MP rear camera with an impressive F/2.0 lens and PixelMaster low-light shooting. The front shooter is upgraded to 2MP. The 5-inch version of the ZenFone comes in Charcoal Black, Pearl White, Cherry Red, and Champagne Gold. The battery is a more palatable 2050mAh and the same storage situation - not much, and an open SD card slot - applies. The Papa Bear of this line is the ZenFone 6, with mostly identical specs to the 5 aside from a larger screen (same resolution), a bigger 3230mAh battery, and a 13MP rear camera with a proprietary "PixelMaster" feature for brighter night shots. It will be offered in the same four colors. All three ZenFone products use "ZenUI," a new interface overlay along the lines of TouchWiz or Sense, on top of Android 4.3. This includes the usual customized apps for the dialer, email, web browser, and gallery, et cetera, but there are a few notable additions. The Omlet Chat app is your basic free chat app that competes with Hangouts and WhatsApp, and the Smart Reader Mode will adjust the tone of the screen to (hopefully) reduce eye strain. ASUS is already promising to upgrade the ZenFones to Android 4.4 at some point. Pricing and availability varies by region, but these are decidedly budget, so expect them to be competitive. In the US the unsubsidized ZenFone 4 will be a rock-bottom $99, the 5 will be $149, and the 6 will be $199. Combine that with wide-open GSM bands and a lack of LTE, and you can expect them to be popular with the no-contract crowd. Introducing ASUS ZenFone

Everyone is raring to go for Moto G but i would suggest to wait a while for official india launch in january which is supposed to have a Dual SIM variant also. One will surely want to appraise price/benefit equation of that model. If one can't wait, then avoid Shopyourworld as the reliability / reviews of their service are not that great.
