Yes Sir... Thats the reason I suggested to avoid 8GB versions in my earlier post... But that 8GB option is OK for old people, first time smartphone users, backup device, house wives who is just going to use phone just for whatsapp [The population of this category people is growing fast like fire]...

This is a short story written by Dr Kishore Shah….he is a gynaecologist in Pune and a very gifted writer….enjoy this extremely funny story :- My wife is an ENT Surgeon while I am a Gynaecologist. This can lead to some complications, as I recently learned to my anguish. A General Practitioner called me up and told me that she is sending a patient of hers for an abortion. Unknown to me, she had also referred a female with earwax for removal of the wax to my wife. I duly informed the receptionist to send the patient right in as she was expected (and expecting!) As Murphy lays down the laws of our hospital, it was but natural that the patient who wanted the wax removed from her ear, landed up with me. This is the conversation that I had with the patient. “Please come in. Be seated.” I said with a big smile. I always have a big smile, when I am going to earn some money. The patient gave a feeble smile and sat hesitantly on the edge of the chair. “Relax.” “Doctor, will this hurt a lot?” “Not at all.” The patient relaxed visibly. “You know something, Doctor, we tried removing it at home, but failed.” I was shocked. “Thank God. Trying this at home can cause serious complications.” “I first tried to remove it by jumping up and down, but it just wouldn’t budge.” I smiled and said, “If it were that easy, who would need doctors?” She gave a cute smile and said, “Yeah! My neighbour tried to remove it with his finger, but the hole is so small that he used a hair pin.” “Oh my God!” “Yes! My mother even tried a matchstick.” My blood pressure was shooting skywards. I just sputtered without uttering a word. “Tell me, doctor, how do I avoid getting this dirt inside me?” I knew that it was an unwanted pregnancy, but calling it dirt was too much. I replied a bit angrily, “There are tablets which can prevent this happening. Or you could use protection at night.” Now it was the patient’s turn to be confused, “You mean to say that it happens only at night?” I saw her point. “No! No! I meant anytime of the day, whenever you are in the mood, you should use protection.” She was even more confused, “It depends on my moods?” Again I saw her point. “My mistake. You need not be in any sort of mood. It just happens.” “My neighbour advised me to go to one of those chaps who sit by the roadside.” “You mean that pin man?” “Yeah!” This neighbour of hers seemed to be a very dangerous man. Besides using pins, he was sending her to such quacks. The only safety he knew was among the pins. “You were wise not to heed his advice.” “But I tried his other advice. He told me to put warm oil inside and wait. However, that also did not work.” This was getting more and more bizarre. Her neighbour deserved to be locked up either in a padded cell or a barred one. “But have you taken your husband’s permission?” Now the patient looked confused. “Do I have to take my husband’s permission? Because if you need his sign, he is working in Dubai. We were not able to meet for the last one year.” It was my turn to be shocked. I gave a sly smirk. It was one of ‘those’ cases. The pin-wielding neighbour seemed to me the usual suspect. I reassured her. “No! No! The husband’s sign is not at all needed.” “However, I did inform him on phone.” Her husband seemed to me a very broad-minded fellow. I didn’t know whether to congratulate her or to commiserate with her. So I hastily turned to other aspects. “Its good that you came a bit early.” “Actually I wanted to come early in the morning, but I had some other work.” “Oh! I did not mean early today. I meant that if you had delayed this removal, it would have started moving. Then it would have developed a heartbeat.” The patient was staring at me wide eyed as if watching a horror movie. Looking at her face, I decided that she was not fit to listen to the grotesque details. I decided to relieve her a bit. I said, “You will bleed a bit, but only for a few days.” By now, the poor patient was trembling, “how-H-How much bleeding?” “Oh, only slightly more than your menstrual period, and it will continue only for a week or so.” By now the patient was clutching her hair in her fingers and staring wide eyed. I asked her soothingly, " why don't you lie down on the table, remove your clothes and relax. This was the final straw. She didn't even wish me goodbye. I just saw a blur of motion leaving my consulting room in top speed. Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk

Baba ji, I have NOT used Moto G. But I have used Lenovo P780 and have experience with Moto's near stock UI. So I can guess (NOT assert) the following... Common on both P780 and Moto G: [1] Almost same + reasonable Price [2] 1.2 GHz QuadCore Cortex A7 processor @ 28nm (Moto got from Qualcomm and Lenovo from Mediatek) [3] 1GB RAM [4] 720p HD resolution IPS LCD display [5] Not so good camera but with GeoTagging, face detection [6] DualSIM support [7] microUSB Host support (not sure about G, but Gsmarena says so) [8] Active Noise cancellation with sec mic. [9] Wifi, BT, 3G, Front cam, etc Advantages of Moto G:- [1] Latest and greatest Android KitKat is about to reach in a week {reached DualSIM version in Malaysia already, India is next} [2] Better GPS {Mediatek always lacks better GPS afaik} [3] Corning glass protection for display [4] Light weight, Compact size and not everyone likes big 5" screen [5] Butter Smooth near stock UI [6] video recording with Stereo sound + HDR, Panaroma in stills [7] Customisation option with colour back covers, etc [8] Better known brand {but Lenovo is going to be its parent co} Advantages of P780 Lenovo:- [1] Bigger battery 4000mAh [2] Bigger display 5" [3] Memory card support [4] 8MPx camera [5] FM Radio Result:- Yes, around 14k is worthy price for both phones... But if bigger display, battery, SD support is important, go for P780. If Compact size, customisation, latest Android version is important, go for Moto G. Reg Memory, I want to tell one thing... P780 comes in 2 options --- 4GB + SD and 8GB + SD. Moto G in 8GB, 16GB options. Its better to avoid 4GB in P780 and 8GB of Moto G, imho... Though 16GB without SD slot may look tiny comparing 8GB + microSD slot of P780, the internal memory of P780 is restricted with few GB for apps and rest for media. Whereas in Moto G, the whole of 16GB is used a huge memory pool and shared for apps, media and everything. So you can install upto 10GB of apps, if you are going to keep media in minimum. Just my two cents paise....

here firewater is a file, which you downloaded from their website, thru ADB your are coping this file to your phone in /data/local/tmp then from ADB SHELL command opens a shell access to phone SU makes you superUser for running system commands. CHMOD is setting permissions to firewater file which is now in phone. permissions to run and execute task of s-off and in last command you are actually running firewater in phone thru shell .

8GB without microSD is a big no no. Specially as the price diff is only 1.5K for Moto G. Usually the difference is much higher for other phones/tablets. I had bought a Nexus 7 with 8GB and am fed up of moving folders to/fro from my Laptop. After a stock install only 5 GB is available. Installing Sygic leaves 4 GB. Other essential apps (around 20-30) will leave 3 GB. If you install even 1-2 big games or 5-10 small games that will leave just 1 GB for your Music/Video/Documents. So you will need to remove the games after you have played them before installing new ones You will also fall short of space when you try a Nandroid backup or if ROM Manager or NRT type of things want to save a few kernels/boot images etc. Without nandroid backups you can't try new ROMs etc. So I have to move my sygic maps folder then do nandroid backups and move backups to laptop and get sygic back So i would strongly suggest 16GB unless you are sure you will not go overboard with installing large apps/games and doing backups / ROMs etc

@hiteshkkk1 Better to avoid via Kuwait as my friend in Dubai has advised me last year. Frequent cancellation of flights and delays have been foreseen. If you take Emirates (Dubai) / Etihad (Abu Dhabi) / Qatar (Doha), you can plan for a stop-over at places specified within brackets. Of course you have to get separate VISA but as you have got USA VISA now & traveling by their country airlines, it will get thru. If you travel by Emirates, you have an easy VISA processing procedure in India and you can try A380 service too. They also offer Entry from one USA city and Exit from another. So it will save time & money in USA. All these airlines have online ticket booking facility and if you book thru travel sites, you can get some more discounted tickets. For USA - Domestic Flights, search online and get discounted advance booking fares. (Airlines like Jet Blue / Continental / AA offers cheap rates but don't forget that you need to book well in advance.)

Here I am posting my full experience from start to end... I had filled DS-160 for all 3 of us online by myself with all the relevant data. I had also mentioned name of my Indian friend, who is now an US citizen & also mentioned that I would stay with him n then go for holiday. He had sent me an invite too n mentioned that expenses would be borne by myself. OFC appointment was on 30/Jan/2014 at 10.30 am I reached there around 10.15 n they checked my DS-160 confirmation with my passport. There was a minor mistake in my son's form so they asked me to do the correction n come back. There was one cyber cafe named HI-TECH just adjacent to the building n they had all the infrastructure to do these VISA stuff as well as locker to keep our stuff. I had to pay 200 Rs. for correction n printout. For locker usage, they charge 100 Rs. It was very basic service. They will accept the stuff in bag n seal it n keep all the bags in 1 single cub board. They wont give us keys as keys are not allowed. I went in Q again & was taken inside in 15 mins. Though I had my cousin to take care of my kid so he didnt come inside with me, but other people were bringing the kids inside. It was clearly mentioned in confirmation mail to not to bring kids below 14 yrs but still many were bringing. OFC process for myself n wife was done in hardly 15 mins from entry to exist. They took our photos n finger prints. Thats it. For kids, they pasted the photo that we took with us on wall n clicked its photo. Actual interview was on 31/Jan/2014 at 7.30 am. I reached there by 7 am n there were already lot of people around I think 200. They started the Q at 7.05 n took inside by 7.20 itself. I took with my our passports n confirmation page along with a box file with all original docs viz my 3 yrs ITR, 1 yrs bank statement, real estate ownership docs, qualification certificates for both of us, birth certificate of my son, my client's list with phone nos., marriage certificate, our sebi registeration cerfiticates, any some other profession related docs. Even here, people were taking there kids inside. I had not brought my son with me. Inside there was a waiting area in open but with shade for around 200-300 people. Our number came at around 8.05 They again took our finger prints. We proceeded at window no 37 when instructed to do so. Below was conversation between us & consulate ( not in specific order. i m typing as i am remembering) 1. You have never travelled out of India & why do you want to go to US a. My wife replied: after marraige she was pregnant & then child was small. Now that he is 6 yrs, we are willing to go out of India. 2. Why US only a. We wish to start with US. US being very good country with lot of tourist attractions. 3. So would you go to other countries like Singapore a. I replied, yes definetely. We have already made our list & US is 1st. 4. You are going with some tour operator or by self. a. I replied by self 5. What all places you plan to visit a. I replied places that we had planned in east cost. 6. Looking at my wife, she asked, so, you are a stock broker. Why did u select this as your profession a. She gave relevant answer Then the consulate was just looking at screen n typing something n she told : YOUR VISA HAS BEEN APPROVED... HAVE A NICE TRIP In all this, she didnt demand a singe doc. In all, I feel, its just our confidence & presentation along with the data that we fill in DS-160 that matters. We were not at all nervous n replying confidently.. This conversation took place for harldy 2 mins n we were out by 8.10. Now just waiting for my passport. It should be there in couple of days. I hope it is for 10 yrs n not 6 months. From what I read, they issue it for 10 yrs only but then some people told me that it may be of 6 months. Once in hand, will book tickets. Before I book, wanted to ask if someone has experience of Kuwait Airways. It has cheapest tickets @ 1.32 lacs for all 3 of us Should I go to Kuwait considering there are lot n lot of negative reviews? All the other airlines are starting from 1.80 lacs but not refundable. Refundable are from British or Americal airways n costing around 2.2 lacs. Hope most of the things are clear n this thread helps other people to get some hands on before applying for visa.

^^^^^^ Good for everyone including Google, Motorola, Lenovo and we customers... How is it Good for customers:- [1] Future Moto phones will come with SD slot [2] Future Moto phones (NOT just from Verizon) will come with bigger battery, as Lenovo is another phone maker concentrates on bigger battery [3] Moto phones may reach India faster with Lenovo than Google [4] More DualSIM (esp C+G) under Moto /Lenovo brand with bigger battery in India What is BAD for us:- [1] Updates will get slower [2] We will miss its near STOCK Android experience [3] More BLOAT in future phones [4] Return of the BL Lock ghost TBH the way Google handled Moto is NOT upto my taste (removal of SD and removing Moto from India). The only good thing Google has done to Moto is faster updates, near Stock UI and minimum bloat only...
