Edit : - 11/3/14 Here Is tool kit for Boost 4.4.2 restore :- https://www.dropbox.com/sh/ryfp0in10o4wyzs/AAAo4-wwJwRptWsi9pXcLU4Ua _____________________________________________________________ 1- Download and install Motorola Drivers: Windows 2- Download and extract the stock firmware of your choosing from: Link-1 or Link-2 The firmwares with '_umtsds' in the file name are for the 'dual-sim' versions of the Moto G DONT FLASH WRONG FIRWARES !! select correct carrier and sim preference we will need 7zip like software to extract .tar.gz 3- if the firmware file you downloaded is a .xml.zip file then download Motorola Fastboot mfastboot-v2.zip and extract the .exe into the same folder as the stock firmware files (the same folder as the .bin and .img files). If your firmware is a .tar.gz file then skip this step. 4- Get ADB (if you don't already have this), I suggest downloading and installing Minimal ADB and Fastboot by shimp208 Here Now real process begins 1) Reboot the phone into bootloader mode. There are 2 ways to do this. The 'hardware' way. a) Unplug the USB cable and power off the phone. Press and hold 'Volume down' then power on the phone. c) Connect USB cable to your computer. The 'software' way. a) Enable developer mode on the Moto G (Settings-> 'About Phone'. Tap 7 times on 'Build Number') Enable USB debugging. (Settings -> 'Developer options' -> 'USB Debugging' -> check) c) Connect phone to computer via USB, you should see a new ADB device detected and drivers installed. d) Open "Minimal ADB and Fastboot". Type: adb reboot-bootloader You should see the Moto G bootloader screen with the following options: Normal Powerup Recovery Factory Switch Console [NULL: null] Barcodes BP Tools 2) Open a command prompt / terminal (Start -> cmd.exe in Win7) and browse to the folder with the extracted firmware. In my case: cd c:\falcon_boost_user_4.4.2_KXB20.9-1.10-1.18_18_release-keys-cid9 3a) If you downloaded and extracted a firmware in .tar.gz format In windows, run the 'flashall.bat' script Type: flashall.bat /eu The "/eu" switch forces userdata to be erased from the device, this is the same as a factory reset or wipe this is recommended when restoring stock firmware. In Linux/OSX run the flashall.sh script. Type: chmod +x flashall.sh ./flashall.sh Downgrading: The scripts will fail with an error on downgrading from 4.4.2 to 4.3. Open the script in a text editor (notepad) and delete (or comment) the following: Lines 89-90 in the flashall.bat file: CALL :fastboot_flash partition gpt.bin IF %errorlevel% NEQ 0 EXIT /b 1 Lines 120-121 in the flashall.sh file: run $fastboot -s "$serial_number" flash partition gpt.bin if [ $? -ne 0 ]; then echo "ERROR: fastboot failed."; exit -1; fi 3b) If you downloaded and extracted a firmware in .xml.zip format. Flash each of the partitions in sequence using mfastboot, you need to enter the following commands one-by-one checking that each one returns an [OKAY] mfastboot flash partition gpt.bin mfastboot flash motoboot motoboot.img mfastboot flash logo logo.bin mfastboot flash boot boot.img mfastboot flash recovery recovery.img mfastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk1 mfastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk2 mfastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk3 mfastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin mfastboot erase modemst1 mfastboot erase modemst2 mfastboot flash fsg fsg.mbn mfastboot erase cache mfastboot erase userdata mfastboot reboot Downgrading: The 1st command "mfastboot flash partition gpt.bin" will fail on 4.4.2 to 4.3 downgrade. Skip this command if you are downgrading and continue with the other commands, which should work. 4) Wait, you should now be rebooted into a fully stock Moto G firmware. These steps can be done on unlocked or locked Boot-Loader ! Follow these instructions at your own risk. If something goes wrong don't blame me! most of this info taken from t-bon3 on xda [Moto G thread]

It's not bluetooth version. You can daisy chain but the output won't be stereo. Don't fall for such propaganda & re-circulate it. AFAIK, No brand has said that they are restricting warranty for online purchases of genuine products. They can't even do that legally. Because online stores are selling most products far below MRP / Market operating prices decided by the brands, brick-mortar stores, traditional retailers are feeling the pinch as sales of many tech products are moving online. Such retailers are used to sell near to MRP & make good margins. Some have through associations protested/complained to brands. Due to this some brands have issued consumer advisory couched in confusion saying that products sold online may not be genuine/could be fake and hence the customer may not get the desired warranty. They have also said that online stores are selling products at much less price distorting the market and such practice is not in consumer interest!! Right, according to brands, consumers getting products cheaper is not in consumer interest!! Only thing they are doing is to publicise this in media confusing consumers who are not properly aware. Such consumers will think twice before buying online and will help brands in doing delicate balancing between retail chain & online business.

Even i saw his deal on DD and want to buy exact same model for some time now ... but dint jumped on this coz its a new seller. Here are the details for HP offer: http://h41112.www4.hp.com/pdf/HP_INK_ADVANTAGE_Offer_Details.pdf "This Offer is valid on purchases made between 1st January 2014 to 30th April 2014" Will try to reply point wise to make is concise - I purchased T3 (1100D) + 55-250mm + 75-300mm bundle from Amazon around 2 years back.... - I exchanged 75-300mm with 50mm prime + some goodie at JJ Mehta shop and that is an amazing lens - I played around with 55-250mm for a long time and its an amazing lens as well especially for portraits (yes not kidding), amazing bokeh. See attached image taken from T3 + 55-250. I sold 55-250mm sometime back as wasnt using it much. - I would have bought D3100 but there were no bundle offers with same when i was buying - Many will say that buy 600D or something similar but "I feel" most of them dont even know how to use any DSLR to full potential.Start with a decent cheap kit and then buy equipment as your taste develops - When you start with photography then your taste might change with time ... I used to love Macro before i had DSLR, now i really like Landscape and general Street photography - You might also need lens filters / tripod etc as you develop your skills .. so keep a budget aside for that as well - Last month or something my DSLR just died on my. It took Rs 8290 to get motherboard replaced + service charge etc .... so "sooch lo" Ask google uncle for help and you`ll get more answers... Edit: I said this to my friend as a joke - "These days i am only using my DSRL to take photos of second hand phones"

I'm glad that we have great personalities like Vinod here. When I was in a pinch while permanent GSM unlocking my friend's G2, he asked me my teamviewer details. Connected to my PC next minute and did all the work in a flash. What a guy!! Thanks a lot mate. Salute!!!

Philips SHC2000 Wireless Hi-Fi Headphone for Rs 1,355 >> http://www.greendust.com/Headphones-philips-wireless-headphone-shc2000-p-16104.html I have used it. Only con is it's infrared so line of sight only but that does not matter if you're going to be sitting at one place & watching TV/listening music. Otherwise really nice headphone for the price, good build & sound. Has rechargeable batteries inside headphone. Once charged, can give 8-10 hours of listening. Someone selected CANON EOS 600D with EF S18-55 IS II & EF S55-250 IS II Double Lense Kit few pages back & mentioned Snapdeal price of 35K. It's available at same price on ebay now >> http://www.ebay.in/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=331135195093 Do fish offline too as some times online camera prices are nearer to MRP & you may get better deal in a local specialised camera store.

Rajan bhai and all friends I am planning to buy a dslr. Being totally novice in photography I would need your suggestions and any deals for the camera. One of my friend suggested me that no matter which model I buy I must make sure to go for at least 18-55 and 55-250 lenses as without them my purchase would be incomplete. My budget would be around 25-30K (Being a noob I would not like to spend much but will go with your suggestions :-) ). Please share if there are any deals available. Few deals which I came through of Canon 1100D and Nikon D3100: http://www.amazon.in/Canon-12-2MP-Digital-Camera-55-250/dp/B00GUHN0NG/ref=sr_1_4?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1393568021&sr=1-4&keywords=55-250 http://www.amazon.in/gp/offer-listing/B00I4SFPDM/ref=dp_olp_new?ie=UTF8&condition=new
