One placed make sure you change permissions to rw-r-r and then reboot. Run the SimUlock helper app, this might give you "DEVICE CHECK FAIL" in Red, Might also say "Device is not a Sprint HTC One! There for this Program will not run", IGNORE. Select 3 Menu dots on the upper right hand side and select "Display Sim Unlock Log", Grant permissions by superuser if asked. You should get empty Sim Unlock Log, Hit back button, wait for it to say "Device verified" Root available bla bla bla. Select "Start" and wait for OMADM Test Client to start, once the OMADM Test Client starts scroll down till SIMLOCK and select it, Wait for a few seconds. Phone should return to normal select back, Sim Unlock Helper should show Sim Unlock Results, if it says Successful, reboot the phone. if the app reboot does not work, use the phone reboot menu. DONE. Airtel 4G LTE on smartphones launched in Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula Source Airtel today launched its 4G LTE service on smartphones in Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula. The company had in February debuted its 4G services on mobile in Bangalore and had tied up with Apple to offers the 4G connectivity on iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S. Likewise, this time as well the company has tied up with Apple to launch 4G on mobile in these areas. Airtel was already providing 4G LTE services in the region via 4G dongles and Wi-Fi base stations. Apple iPhone 5S or iPhone 5C users can upgrade their existing SIM to a 4G SIM and choose from various 4G plan to use Airtel’s 4G network. The operator is also offering demos of the service in the company operated stores in Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula. Besides the two iPhones, Airtel 4G services can also be used on Xolo LT 900 and LG G2 4G LTE (model D802T). Trai.gov.in Trak.in TelecomTiger.com 24 Apr 2014 Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has decided to set a minimum download speed for 2G and 3G services. In this regard TRAI has published a consultation paper and will listen to public opinion till May 5. TRAI intends to set the minimum download speed for 3G and CDMA EVDO services at 1 Mbps with success rate of 95 per cent. Whereas for GSM and CDMA 2G the minimum should be 56 kbps while that for CDMA high speed data it should be 512 kbps is what the regulator feels. TRAI may also ask telecom operators to mention the minimum download speed that a data service will deliver in a tariff plan. Currently there are no rules to keep a tab on dropping speeds. Its a commendable step since customers are promised high speeds but these are rarely touched. According to TRAI, the telecom consumers availing wireless data services are not aware of the minimum download speed being offered to them by the TSPs. Generally, the tariff plans offered by the TSPs are based on the volume of data usage for various technologies, without any clarity about the speed being offered to consumers. Also, there is no commitment of minimum download speed while offering a tariff plan. TRAI has now proposed that all Indian internet users provide their inputs to them, so that the telecom companies are regulated and mandated to provide a minimum internet speed under all circumstances, something like this: TRAI added, Another alternative could be that the service providers, along with the tariff and the details of data services offered, also specify a minimum download speed that will be applicable for each plan or scheme. Accordingly, along with each tariff plan whenever they are advertised, through website, telephone bills, sale vouchers, complaint centres, and sales office, the minimum download speed is also necessarily mentioned. Moreover, whenever there is a change in the plan or speed, subscriber should be properly informed and the same should also be published through suitable advertisement. The service provider shall inform the minimum download speed along with the tariff plan while filing tariff to TRAI. Any one on MJA (4.3), have tried china Rom R530U_4.3_MJA_v5.1.exe ?? looks like they are using RUIM on MJA, Here is the link if any one like to try at own risk here is the download link I tried downloading 10 times, but failed at some point, due to server reset or some other link issues.
