5 points^^^ you reduced the on/off cycle but did you calculate the power requirement? saving is measure in terms of reduced power consumption. Simply buying low capacity means you are running the machine at highest capacity which has its own problem. In this case, you compressor remains on for longer period that means more power and more ware and tare so life of machine is reduced. Always ask for units of power consumed by a device. Why on/off cycle consumes more power? The reason is that whenever a compressor or motor starts, it requires high current. In technical terms it means peak current. So this current can be double the rated current and this is where power consumption is more. In case of inverter, the motor/compressor is always running at variable speed. Even when it starts, it starts a low speed so that current requirement is as low as possible. So you rarely reach so called "peak" current and hence you get maximum savings.

5 points^^^ @ Deepak Shankar Correct me if I am wrong. During my AC purchase in past, I used a simple logic. That if inverter AC saves power by avoiding "on/off" cycle while cooling, then why not reduce the "on/off" cycle itself in normal AC by going in for a one size smaller AC ? Like in case of 1.5 t requirement, if we go for 1.2 t capacity AC, then, naturally on/off cycle will reduce, since it takes more time for 1.2 t AC to cool where requirement is 1.5 t. Assuming 1.5 t AC does 5 on/off cycle in an hour, then 1.2 t AC may do 3 to 4 on/off cycle in same period. If capacity is even lower like 1 t, then, this on/off cycle will reduce it further. I have purchased an spilt AC of 1 t, however, my room size requirement is in same range. Dealer was suggesting for 1.5 t or 1.2 t (very few model in this range), but I have purchased 1 t, with above logic. This will increase "cooling down period" initially. So, what I do is make it run for 16°C for 10 / 15 minutes & then, change over to 25-26°C for rest of the night / day. Works great. I have panasonic, 5 star AC. but, from experience, of using this, I can give you good advice at least for remote. Check, if remote has display with light / for glowing buttons etc. Since, @ night, when you want to change some setting due to over chill or over heat, you have to get some light source, like mobile phone, main light etc disturbing others in deep sleep. But, this probably a small part of decision making.

2 pointsLaunch of MOTO E Source: http://news.softpedia.com/news/Motorola-Moto-E-Launching-in-India-on-May-13-for-Rs-8499-440708.shtml Good news for Android fans in India, as the Motorola's upcoming smartphone, the Moto E, is said to go on sale the same day it is revealed. Motorola Mobility confirmed last week that it would introduce another Android smartphone on May 13. Even though the US-based company did not reveal the name of the device, according to a few leaks from different sources, the smartphone that Motorola plans to launch next week is called Moto E. The affordable smartphone will be officially introduced during two press events in London, UK, and New Delhi, India. According to AndroidOS, Motorola Moto E will be available for purchase the moment it goes official. But there is more to it. Motorola Moto E has been recently spotted on Indian import data website Zauba, along with its model numbers and approximate price tag. It appears that there will be three Moto E variants launched on the market, though we're not yet sure whether or not all will be available in India as well. Anyway, the Moto E single-SIM variant is listed at Zauba as Motorola XT1021, while the dual-SIM version is known as XT1022. A third Moto E model features dual-SIM with digital TV and is codenamed Motorola XT1025. Motorola previously teased the Moto E as a smartphone “priced for all” and the listing on Zauba provides the confirmation that this handset will be even cheaper than the Moto G, which is extremely popular among Android fans in India. So, the import documents on Zauba mention that the Moto E will be available for prices between Rs 7,999 ($130 / €95) and 8,499 ($140 / €100) outright. Given the fact that there will be different versions of Moto E available on the market, it makes sense to have different price tags. Still, take these numbers with a grain of salt until Motorola officially introduces the Moto E in India. Sent from my LG-LS970 using Tapatalk

1 pointBackground: I've received a new Sprint HTC One on Wednesday evening, I unlocked it for GSM & about to sell this phone locally or make a sale thread over here, I even took photos of the phone to put up a sale thread of it. But thought of checking if I can get it working for RUIM, so post-poned of making a sale thread for a day(proved to be worth it). I already bought Reliance CDMA Pre-Paid SIM even before the item has reached me, as I bought this phone for myself but later(during the item in transit) I decided to sell. How It Happened: 1)Well I've put reliance PRL in the phone, it catched reliance signal, *228 gave me message that "Your device couldn't be activated" which is expected for a non-registered(MEID) mobile. Made the phone read from RUIM, put the RUIM in, it picked up reliance signal(I didn't know whether it use PRL file(NV) or SIM). It showed 'Digital Roaming' in status, I think this phone is still active on some one's sprint account, although I bought this as a BAD ESN. I dialed *228, to my surprise, I saw 4-5 messages like 'NAM is Updated' & phone was programmed OTA by Reliance, the phone rebooted immediately(on its own). All this was done on stock with latest firmware & rooted. After the OTA I checked the phone info in CDMA and I got new MIN, IMSI & some other parameters like MCC, SID are changed to reflect that the phone was indeed received OTA program from Reliance. 2) Since the RUIM(sim) I'm using is a new connection, I was asked by the sim vendor to dial 5909 to verify my details so that the services could be activated on the RUIM. But when I dial 5909 I got the IVRS message that I need to call Reliance customer service if I want to use their services. I flashed AOSP ROM & tried calling 5909, and again to my surprise it got connected & I was able to get my details verified, within few minutes services were activated on the RUIM(sim). What's Working: This is all done on Stock, rooted. So far, calls, text msgs(sending & receiving) working, I think data also working got 3G symbol displayed for some time(some packets are received & sent(checked the data information in the phone info section, just when 3G symbol is displayed I saw packets sent & received in the phone info section). But can't say for sure, because the RUIM(sim) got activated just couple of hours ago. Any Issues: Don't know If I should call this as issue but I'll let you decide & suggest me to get rid of this(although I'm working on it). As I said earlier in this post, the RUIM got programmed OTA while it was in 'Digital Roaming', it is still showing same thing 'Digital Roaming' & it will show Roaming warning whenever you call, although calls & text msgs are being charged as per Reliance plan on my RUIM only, no roaming charges. Here is the interesting part, if I stop roaming by going into Settings-->Mobile Data-->Roaming & selecting 'Home Only', the phone completely stops receiving signal. I don't why it still needs that Roaming part to be active even though it is not truly in roaming & I was charged as per Reliance plan on my RUIM only, absolutely no roaming charges. And there is no issue with GSM but with CDMA mode you get that 'Digital Roaming'. I hope some one experience shed some light on this & suggest a solution for this. Proof That Data Working:

Open 'A and select/Dial 3 to call conference. And same way you can press home, Open contact 'A & Select/dial 1 to disconnect last called person. Please give me +1 if this works for you & Helps you. 1 pointArun ji, Can we have seperate "Completed Trades" section like earlier in BuySellWeb.in, instead of locking and keeping the thread in same section? It will help people to find the price of phones sold easier, imho. Any chance for adding General sub-forum or atleast forum-feedback there? Thanks...
