Hi all, Bought a EC 315 yesterday to use from a person who was selling locally. I spent the entire day yesterday but could not get it to work with the RUIM slot. Post googling and reading i tried everything from upgrading to downgrading the firmware, installing Huawei default firmware, tried multiple versions of DFS, also tried CDMA workshop. The issue i am facing is after saving the settings of changing NV to RUIM only when i do the reset command . After reboot the settings go back to NV only it does not stick to ruim. Due to this it is not detecting and reading the sim card inside. i tried multiple versions of DFS, tried CDMA workshop. Tried different OS also 8.1, Windows 7 but was unable to make the settings stick. I had bought this to use my sim with the dongle but looks like it is not happening. Any inputs, ideas and thoughts would be appreciated to get this working, as of now i have run out of most options that i could try or are available. Need help from the Gurus here to get this running.

Hello, I purchased Moto G from Reliance Website. This is CDMA Phone. I activated my old number in this Phone. Now it is working fine. When i started YouTube App, Buffering was not working with Data Usage but on WIFI Buffering was working. So I went to Reliance Store for check this out. They did not know about this issue. After that I went in the setting of Youtube App and change the country from US to India. After this change Youtube is working fine. Now Many Online Music App are not working on my Phone. They are not buffering. Eg : Ganna, BollyWood Hungama, SongsPK. These App does not have Country change setting like Youtube. Conferencing is also not working. Note : All the Apps are working fine on WIFI like Ganna, BollyWood Hungama, SongsPK Youtube. I have Reliance 3G/EVDO Connection on my Phone Please Suggest me if any settings do i need to change. I'm sorry to inform you that your phone will not be fixed as of now since JTAG is locked in Snapdragon 800 chipsets as far as i heard. I was able to find pinouts after a full day of work with phonegeek's g2 and later realized that i wasted both of ours time.

Actually this phone is little buggy when comes to network .Few phones works perfectly on everything . few works good on gsm but won't work on CDMA. Few works on 2g , but not able to get 3g. Read full thread you will get an idea. Sent by Moto G on Reliance CDMA

Verizon Pantech Breakout is an unlocked CDMA OMH SIM handset where all SIM cards support calls and sms. There is no hidden settings involved in achieving calling and messaging. However it does not support data on RUIM of Reliance but with some minor tweaking, Tata Indicom SIM supports 3G/EVDO internet. Steps:- 1. Root the phone in few steps following this guide and the attached files. http://www.techychat.com/2013/05/28/root-pantech-breakout/ 2. After successful root, download and install root explorer 2.16 or older 3. Replace my attached build.prop in system folder and apns-conf.xml in system/etc folder, set all permissions and reboot. 4. Dial *#*#4636#*#* and select CDMA only Note:- Data on this device only works in evdo areas. there is no 1x support available on this phone. data icon will remain 1x in evdo areas and no data will work in 1x areas. Evdo speed is recorded on this 1x icon. After putting this settings, there will never be any need to change/modify any setting even after changing to any number of SIM cards. Also note that there is no success on Reliance RUIM for data on this phone till date. apns-conf.xml build.zip
