Guys, Again I am here with something new for you... Most of you must be knowing that Droid Razr works on CDMA OMH without doing anything. Simple slip in your UIM, and use it. But NO data works. I have a trick using which we can try to get Data working on Razr using CDMA OMH. For this I need a volunteer having -- Motorola Droid Razr Activated Reliance CDMA OMH If you have the Phone pre-rooted it would be a additional benefit for me. PM me if anyone is ready to volunteer. This will be done free of cost.

With a soft launch expected later this month in at least a few cities for Jio services, here are their preview websites that are getting ready for the launch. jioconnect.com appears to be the portal for Jio MiFi, WiFi & FTTH services. The preview website is available at: http://preview.jioconnect.com:7777/ FAQ page has lots of information: http://preview.jioconnect.com:7777/cs/jio/support.html jioworld.com seems to be the website for the Jio World app for connecting to Jio WiFi hotspots from your phone. Apps are not seen in Play Store or iTunes store yet. The preview website is accessible here: http://49.40.2.94:8080/cgi-bin/gl_productpage.py FAQ page for the Jio World app is accessible at: http://www.jioworld.com/wordpress/frequently-asked-questions/ jio.com is the primary website for Reliance Jio, but I couldn't find any preview website for it yet. wifi.jio.com was listed in the FAQs as intranet login URL for Jio WiFi services. I think they will initially (later this month?) start MiFi service, WiFi hostspots and FTTH along with the digital media services in a few cities. When I called up the newly opened Reliance Digital Xpress Mini store in Trivandrum, they said that it is unlikely to start this month here. 4G/VoLTE services on your handset like a conventional mobile service provider might be starting later next year only, probably since the network isn't ready yet in all circles and everywhere. A full fledged network is needed for that. Interestingly, there is a "Volte Basic Offer" listed in the products page though with not much details. There is also a "K Touch" phone picture in the home page which is a Chineese brand: http://www.k-touch.cn/en/lte Also interesting to see this in the FAQ: "If you move out of 4G coverage area, you will be automatically latched on to 2G/3G network" - they don't have a 2G/3G network to fallback though? The listed MiFi devices use Band 40 (2300 Mhz), could they be looking to use Band 3 (1800 Mhz) for handsets later? I'm not sure if the Rs.1 and Rs.4 for FTTH (installation charge?) are placeholders to be updated earlier or could they be actual pricing considering that it's from Mukesh Ambani? If you find any other scoops, please post here! In case the links are removed, please find the screenshots below

Phone isn't really free here. If you subscribe to zero plan then the cost comes to just 800 per month, on prepaid you get everything unlimited for 949 recharge. Only on reliance CDMA. You will still be paying at least 2648/- extra on Vodafone every month.

It might be a good deal for you but as per Op , this neither matches screen size nor has the desired ram. [emoji33] [emoji32]

Had similar recording issue on USC Moto X 4.4.2, workaround was to use use Temp root via Towelroot app and then use Boldbeast call recoder (you`ll need to change recording setting in the app, google it) . Only downside is that you have to root after each reboot, which is just a click of a button, shouldnt be a major issue. Just FYI, Call recording is illegal in US, most of the US phones have call recording locked at kernel level etc, so regular apps dont work on imported handsets. PS: KD and Baba ji ki Jai.

I got a HTC 510 today and seeing the same issue. How'd you fix it? And pointers would be helpful. I got it working finally. Had to follow the sim unlock steps described here -- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2682242 So to summarise the steps 1. Bootloader unlock 2. Flash write protection removed kernel 3. Root it 4. Follow the steps in the above thread for sim unlock. 5. Rename HtcOMADM_SPCS.apk to something else to disable the activation popup. Everything working with RCDMA OMH SIM.

My Volt tested MTS and RIM . Voice and SMS in both work. DATA works in RIM . Haven't tested in MTS . Did not add the apn in NV mode but added the APN through APN backup Restore even when ADD APN tab is not visible in any menu Check pics . Even shows network name in locked screen Exactly what we did in G2 for changing APN using Apn restore app . Made a new RCOM APN in G2 as i had G2 . Any mobile should work . In new APN here on RIM people had said to use MCC and MNC as 404 and 00 due to which the APN was never saving . So I used MCC and MNC as 405 and 51 . Saved the APN and shifted the APN to Volt . Restored the APN using the app and it worked without any tinkering You will have to shift the Apn Backup restore app to Priv App in System And my ro.build.prop.country was spr . I had changed to spr as thought add APN tab might come in spr. DATA in RUIM only works in spr and not with SPR in capital which is default . You will have to add 0 bedore every number to call or Android process system FC will come . i did not face any issue with calls in spr/SPR Uploaded the Reliance APN which I used . It also has 2 Airtel APN , IP4 only and IP4/6 . Delete them if you don't want them Name of Reliance APN is "apn-RIM ip4" EDIT UPDATED ApnBackupRestore.zip
