Do not buy Motorola Moto E xt1528 for CDMA or GSM. OTA update to 5.1.1 is forced and will lose out all radio functions. CDMA calls still work though. Bootloader is locked, no root and no downgrade back to 5.0.2. Buy Boost variant for a trouble-free usage.

Reliance Communication has introduced Free Paid plans offering Unlimited Local, STD & Roaming. The packs are now available for Reliance subscribers in all circles. The new Free Paid Pack 1 offer Unlimited Local, STD and Roaming calls from Reliance to Reliance and Reliance to all fixed line numbers. The pack also includes 30 mins/day free calls to Reliance to other network and unlimited incoming calls on roaming. Free Paid Pack 2 offer 300MB 2G/3G data apart from above benefits. Reliance has priced the Free Paid Pack 1 in range of Rs 295 – Rs 445 depending on circle and Pack 2 will cost Rs 30 extra. Both packs has a validity of 28 days. Recently, TRAI had removed termination charges for calls to and from Landline phones in the country. This has paved path for introduction of unlimited landline calling offers by telecom operators in the country. The new plans by Reliance are not attractive as it cost around Rs 445 and offer just 30 min/day other network calls. The data benefit offered is just 300MB which is also not sufficient for most users. Source: telecomtalk
