A few comments on Moto E 2nd Gen initial setup and removing of all the VzW bloatware. I did remove the VzW SIM card before turning on the Phone. 1) You need WiFi connectivity to sign into a Google account. 2) As soon as the initial setup was done (3 to 4 steps), system updater was ready to download / install the update to 5.1 3) I disconnected the WiFi and didn't click on the notification to update the Android. 4) Turned ON the Developer mode and enabled USB debugging. 5) Installed Moto Device Manager. This installed the USB drivers for Moto E device. 6) Installed the Debloater PC client. 7) Connected Moto E to the computer via micro-USB cable. The computer and the Debloater app detected the device. 8) Disabled (Hide) all the Bloatware from VzW as well as Moto Care packs and Moto OTA update (software download + notification). And that was it. So far so good. The only notification I have seen is No Sim no service from time to time when the WiFi is disabled. Hopefully, the OS won't get accidentally updated to 5.1 which blocks CDMA/EVDO data overseas. Try this it will 100% work. First remove the sim. Connect your mobile to pc. Connect it to Dfs cdma tool(demo version works perfectly) Install all drivers. open dfs software. Click on ports choose LGe androidnet usb serial port. Click it. Below enter spc code you got. Click on spc. Device will be unlocked. in 1 >>>In programming >general right side ruim config change it too Nv_only. And write next click on reset you fined it on right top. phone will reboot. 2 Latter go to programming >NAm their mcc and mnc 404 and 00 Click right. 3 >>next click on DATA Change ppp uid to omhtest@omh.relianceinfo.com Password too S19121NB15CB112D Hdr an , hdr an long, hdr an pp uid change to MEid@hrpd.rco.in meid is your phones meid. It be 14 digits. my meid is 35649**** So its 35649*****@hrpd.rco.in I wrote net in pap. Now click on write. 4 next mobile ip tab> change Ds qcmip to simple ip. In profile disable everything. change the sprint profiles also. and write omhtest@omh.relianceinfo.com Home address 0.0.0.0 Prim ha 255.255.255.255 Sec ha 0.0.0.0 RM NAI as net Write current profiles settings. in mobile ip main settings too click write. (Dont forget to disable all profiles except first one) Now click rest. phone will reboot. Now check Step 3. Programing Data>> Click read. See if the ppp uid is same you entered or changed. also check Hdr an , hdr an long, hdr an pp uid. also check step 4. see all active profiles are reliance or print. If everything correct and are reliance profiles. your data will work. Btw latter change to ruim mode. and reboot. (If you dont get signal in your phone after keeping your sim your phone is in nv_only one still. you need to change it too ruim_only one. You can check this by click read button. Some faced this issue ) now keep the sim and turn on internet. It will work for sure. If its not worked try the below step too ( I tried this too I entered ##3282# and changed data profile to omhtest@omh.relianceinfo.com Ha password as net. And aaa pass as net. ) hope this helps. and to removed hands free. I have rooted the mobile and using root explorer changed the lgstarupwizard.apk to lgstartupwirzard.bat and it worked. now mobile net is working no hands free pop up.
