    Reliance Jio already started their WIFI called Jio Net in my city Bhubaneswar from 5 - 6 months. presently installed one of the University called Orissa University of Agriculture & Technology (OUAT). WIFI Routers are also installed few other Universities, Tourist places & few Parks. work is going on. I think It's a comes under Orissa Govt's smart city proposal. Triggered from Nexus 10

    Bro the box in the middle is for wifi. Which can be seen on loads of street lights in central Delhi. Third box from the top is a fiber termination box and power management as well.

    This picture was passed on to me by a friend. I don't have much details other than this setup would be used for supporting WiFi signal for a radius of 300 meters. It supports triple play - broadband internet (4G), phone (possibly mobile signal) and TV.
