Ask them to do top-up for free, once you complete the 10GB data and you will again get 500 mins / sms and 10GB data. Employee sim limit is 75GB, 4500 minutes, 9000 (not sure) sms.

Like I said, I have just done 5 top-ups in 6 months time for the employee sim.. Initially I got astonished on seeing the 60+ Mbps speed (when the whole towers in my city is exclusive for me) and was downloading like crazy for the first few days. Later the craze was over and started using it sensibly, except once when I left the SIM and MiFi in my home during roaming, my wife completed 70+ GB within a week or 10 days.. HotStar, Youtube, serials, Live TV and what not, even though the speed is just 25% of initial days.. I just wonder how the people will feel, when they stop getting free unlimited data?

http://www.hindustantimes.com/tech/now-buy-a-reliance-4g-phone-with-3-months-unlimited-data-at-rs-2-999/story-28hUSfC2Zn21vvU6VCYTxM.html Now buy a Reliance 4G phone with 3 months unlimited data at Rs 2,999 Good news for data and smartphone lovers! Reliance Communications has slashed the prices of its Lyf brand of smartphones. According to an NDTV Gadgets report, the official price drop was communicated to dealers on Tuesday and was effective immediately. The Lyf smartphones received price drops are Lyf Water 2 which will now retail at Rs 9,499 (a Rs 4,000 drop from the earlier price of Rs 13,499); Lyf Wind 6, which will be available at Rs 5,999 (a Rs. 500 price drop from the earlier price of Rs. 6,499); and Lyf Flame 2 will be available at Rs 3,499 (receives a Rs 1,300 price drop from earlier price of Rs 4,799). Other handsets also received a flat price of Rs 1,000 and all three smartphones - Lyf Flame 4, Flame 5, and Flame 6 - will now be available at Rs 2,999. But here is how it sweetens the deal. Reliance is offering unlimited data and voice-calling offers for three months on the Reliance Jio network and that means one can essentially buy a 4G smartphone with three months free unlimited data just for Rs 2,999. However, Jio has not been commercially launched but it is offering consumers the plan under an employee referral program. Reliance CDMA customers are also being offered chance to upgrade to a Reliance Jio SIM, and Jio SIMs have also been on offer to anyone who buys Lyf smartphones. All Lyf branded handsets come with support for 4G and VoLTE (voice over LTE), which is expected to provide better call quality.

NOT true, afaik.. I have checked the specifications in the web-interface after login in.. Guru Gopal ji also confirmed the same to me.. Reason I have heard is that, band 5 will be already shared by both Reliance co's and Jio's VoLTE coverage and quality is heavily dependent on that band. If heavy data users are allowed to use that band, then it may affect the VoLTE quality. Further due to vast reach, number of users connected to that band will be more and as a result less speed.. Further old MiFi's came network unlocked for easy testing + comparison (of competitor's 4G) purposes for its employees. May be TT author got that old Jio MiFi, but not sure..

Successfully activated data on LG G Vista (VS880) with Tata Docomo CDMA / EVDO, with the inputs provide by dr.faramroze Initially, there was a doubt, that Gold plated RUIM Card will not work with data. However, changing settings Programming>Data through DFS, did the job & now I can access EVDO on Tata Docomo. Both post paid & prepaid ( I have two ruim cards, one postpaid with gold plated chip (1 month old) & prepaid with silver chip (2 yrs old). Following is the screenshot from DFS. Now, I am tempted to know, if there is RevB / EVDO possible with Tata docomo & this verizon handset ?? What to check & where ? If anyone can support. Thanks to Dr.faramroze, once again for all the valuable information he provides for this case & also in general. Thank you doctor for being part of this great forum. Ratanbhai ne kejo ne ke cdma kayam mate chalu rakhe !!!

Hello, I am using Reliance 4G LTE (transferred to Reliance 4G LTE from CDMA some time back) in Pune. However, even though the network shows as Reliance 4G my internet speed is really terrible. The guys at the Reliance shop had promised that 4G LTE will be available from 16th June but it does not seem to have started. I was wondering if there is something wrong with my handset. Is anyone else also facing this problem?

When i was in roaming there is no 3g data on reliance network and further i could not latch onto aircel 3g/2g. Reliance 2g data is present but pathetic or nonusable. I had to use airtel 4g recharge. Bsnl 3g also worked better for me in roaming. Even in home circle, the signal does not shift to 2g when 3g signal is not present. I had to choose reliance 2g/ aircel 2g manually..... Hope this issues are solved by reliance.....

You are right, I didn't get data while I was on roaming. RCDMA, one of the best network for Roaming users have become the worst network now.
